Traitor Mitt Romney Again Signals He’s with the Democrats on Impeachment

GOP traitor, Sen. Mitt Romney, signaled that he is leaning toward voting with Democrats on the question of hearing from more fake “witnesses.”

GOP traitor, Utah Sen. Mitt Romney, has signaled that he is leaning toward voting with the Democrats over the question of hearing from more fake “witnesses” during the Senate’s impeachment proceedings.

The carpetbagging “Utah” Senator — who is really from left-wing Massachusetts, but only bought his Senate seat in Utah — recently said that he will likely turn against  his Republican colleagues and the president and vote in favor of allowing more fake Democrat “witnesses” in the impeachment trial continuing this coming week.

The traitor made his position known in a Saturday interview:

“I think it’s very likely I’ll be in favor of witnesses, but I haven’t made a decision finally yet, and I won’t until the testimony is completed,” Romney said.

Romney is one of the main Republicans that the anti-American Democrats hope to peel away from the right side of history. And, traitor that he is, they will likely succeed.

The carpetbagging Sen., though, must sense that he is beginning to lose support back home. Last week the former liberal Massachusetts Gov. tried to backtrack a few steps from his outright support for Democrats in their quest to topple a Republican president and take away the choice of millions of American voters.

After his repeated anti-Trump statements, Utah “Republican” Senator Mitt Romney tried to back away from his outright support for impeachment on Tuesday.

Democrats were likely expecting Romney to come out swinging against Trump as the U.S. Senate begins its part of the impeachment drama this week. Instead, Romney took a few steps backward from his previous anti-Trump support for impeachment.

Romney’s reaction to Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s outline for the Senate’s proceedings struck a slightly different tone than his previous comments.

As Daily Wire reported:

While Democrats are taking to various media platforms to express outrage over the Republicans’ plans for handling the trial, accusing McConnell of attempting to “cover up” the president’s alleged misconduct by fast-tracking the proceedings, Romney pointed out in a statement issued ahead of the debate Tuesday that the rules set forth by his colleagues “align closely” with those established for the impeachment trial of then-President Bill Clinton, rules which were unanimously approved by the Senate.

Meanwhile, Romney’s Democrat pals railed over McConnell’s plans. Sen. Schumer, for instance, absurdly exclaimed: “We are staring down an erosion of the sacred democratic principles for which our founders fought a bloody war of independence.”

Romney, though, did not exactly support the Democrat line. Though agreeing with the left that the allegations against Trump are “extremely serious,” Romney added that he thinks the Senate should “put political biases aside” and hear the case in “good faith.”

“The allegations outlined in the articles of impeachment passed by the House are extremely serious — did the President abuse his office for personal political gain, and did he obstruct Congress’ investigation by blocking subpoenas?” Romney said in the statement. “These allegations demand that the Senate put political biases aside, and make good faith efforts to listen to arguments from both sides and thoroughly review facts and evidence. I have made clear to my colleagues and the public that the Senate should have the opportunity to decide on witnesses following the opening arguments, as occurred in the Clinton trial. The organizing resolution released tonight includes this step, and overall, it aligns closely with the rules package approved 100-0 during the Clinton trial. If attempts are made to vote on witnesses prior to opening arguments, I would oppose those efforts.”

Romney later pushed out a press release slamming Democrats:

As we approach the impeachment trial of the President, I feel a deep sense of responsibility to the Constitution, to the people of Utah and to the nation. I want to share my thoughts directly with Utahns — the people I was elected to serve in the Senate — about how I plan to approach this process.

Last week, I and all senators swore an oath to ‘do impartial justice according to the Constitution and laws: so help me God’ in determining whether the president has committed impeachable offenses that merit his removal from office. Deciding whether or not a sitting president should be removed from office is perhaps the most solemn matter that can ever come before the United States Senate. I enter this task with an open mind and a recognition of my solemn responsibility to fulfill my oath.

The allegations outlined in the articles of impeachment passed by the House are extremely serious — did the President abuse his office for personal political gain, and did he obstruct Congress’ investigation by blocking subpoenas? These allegations demand that the Senate put political biases aside, and make good faith efforts to listen to arguments from both sides and thoroughly review facts and evidence. If attempts are made to vote on witnesses prior to opening arguments, I would oppose those efforts.

I will conclude by noting that this is not a situation anyone would wish upon our country. It is difficult, divisive, and further inflames partisan entrenchment. There is inevitable political pressure from all sides. I have spent — and will continue to spend — many hours in careful deliberation about what this process and its potential outcomes could mean for our country. The best we in the Senate can do is strive to meet the obligations outlined by our founding fathers — to honor our constitutional duty and fulfill our oath to do impartial justice. That is the commitment I make solemnly and in good faith to the people of Utah and our nation.

So, why has Romney suddenly started pulling back a bit from his extreme hate for Trump?

His poll numbers are tanking, of course.

According to KSL.com:

There was an 8% drop in his approval rating among Republicans in the most recent Mitt Romney polls. It went from 65% in the third quarter to 57% in the last quarter.

But support among Democrats went up from 42 to 46% over the same time for the Utah Republican.

And so… suddenly Romney is looking a bit more like a Republican to regain support.

Muslim Congresswoman Omar Calls for ‘Dismantling’ of the United States

On Tuesday, Muslim Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar called for the “dismantling” of the entire American way of life.

On Tuesday, Muslim Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar called for the “dismantling” of the entire American way of life as a way to mollify the radical Black Lives Matter movement.

Speaking in Washington D.C., the Minnesota Rep. said that defunding the police was not enough and that every part of America had to be torn down to suit her dangerous anti-Americanism.

“As long as our economy and political systems prioritize profit without considering who is profiting, who is being shut out, we will perpetuate this inequality,” Omar said. “We cannot stop at criminal justice system. We must begin the work of dismantling the whole system of oppression wherever we find it.”

U.S. Sen. Marsha Blackburn was astonished at Omar’s comments and called for Omar to resign.

“Ilhan Omar took an oath to defend and protect the Constitution, not shred it. Omar and her Marxist comrades are a threat to our Democracy. Omar should resign,” Blackburn wrote.

Many others were equally outraged:

Racist College Democrats Dump Latino President Because She Isn’t Black

The Hispanic president of the College Democrats of America was ousted from her position solely because she isn’t black.

Published

The Hispanic president of the College Democrats of America was ousted last month from her position solely because she isn’t black.

Last week, at the end of June, Tikaela Guido was removed from her role as president of the college organization that boasts 500 chapters and 47 state federations. Before leaving, Guido appointed Matthew Nowling, the group’s former communications director, to be vice president because he is black.

As it happens, Nowling accused Guido of being a racist against him. She treated him badly, Nowling exclaimed. Soon calls for Guido to resign began flooding the organization. Not only that, but calls were made for her to never try to run for any position with the organization again.

At first, the Hispanic woman tried to defend herself against charges of racism.

“What I do not stand for is being labeled a racist or complacent in racism. The gross mischaracterization that I contributed to this environment is unequivocally false. Moreover, these unsubstantiated claims of racism towards me have an appearance of being used as a front for personal disagreements, which is morally reprehensible,” she wrote on an email to the membership.

Eventually, Guido did resign and in doing so she appointed Nowling to be her successor.

Amusingly, Guido ultimately slobbered all over herself to apologize for her “racism.”

In an email she said, “I may not be the person that membership feels represents them currently, and I may need to make space for someone who does,” later adding she would “slow down, reflect on my mistakes and spend time with family.”

Nowling crowed about his victory saying any other group may “have been brushed under the rug, and I would have simply resigned and nothing would have changed.” He added, “This is not just a College Democrats of America thing. This is a broader societal issue, and I just happened to have a platform where when I spoke out about it, people took action.”

The wokesters are eating their own, folks.

… And it’s hilarious.

Potential Biden VP Pick Signals Openness To Tearing Down Statues Of Founding Fathers

Sen. Tammy Duckworth a potential running mate for Joe Biden, signaled that she was open to tearing down statues of some of America’s founding fathers.

“Senator, I know that you support change in the name of military bases named after Confederate leaders,” CNN’s Bash said. “But there are leaders like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson who were slave owners, and some people are demanding that their monuments come down, too. So, in your view, where does it end? Should statues, for example, of George Washington come down?”

“Well, let me just say that we should start off by having a national dialogue on it at some point,” Tammy Duckworth responded.

She continued by attacking President Donald Trump, saying that Trump has “spent all his time talking about dead traitors.”

“So, that might be true, but George Washington, I don’t think anybody would call him a traitor,” Bash responded. “And there are moves by some to remove statues of him. Is that a good idea?”

“I think we should listen to everybody,” Tammy Duckworth responded. “I think we should listen to the argument there.”

NEXT: California Erasing John Wayne’s Name from Orange County Airport

California Democrats are moving to erase famed tough guy actor John Wayne’s name from the John Wayne Airport in Orange County.

California Democrats are moving to erase famed tough guy actor John Wayne’s name from the John Wayne Airport in Orange County.

The commiecrats say that an interview Wayne did with Playboy magazine in 1971 is enough reason to cancel the Duke because he said “racist and homophobic” things at the time.

Leftists have been waving the 1971 interview around for decades as proof that John Wayne was evil. But, now that we are in a climate of destroying all of American history, the topic is back at the forefront once again.

Indeed, this time the county Democrat Party is the one making the demands, not just the prosaic and ill-informed, stray, leftist activists of days past.

“The Democratic Party of Orange County condemns John Wayne’s racist and bigoted statements, and calls for John Wayne’s name and likeness to be removed from the Orange County airport, and calls on the OC Board of Supervisors to restore its original name: Orange County Airport,” a resolution, passed Friday, said.

One of The Duke’s comments contained his ideas of who should and should not be running things.

“I believe in white supremacy until the blacks are educated to a point of responsibility. I don’t believe in giving authority and positions of leadership and judgment to irresponsible people,” he said.

He then added, “I don’t feel guilty about the fact that five or 10 generations ago these people were slaves.”

The Democratic resolution goes on pandering to say there is now a “national movement to remove white supremacist symbols and names is reshaping American institutions, monuments, businesses, nonprofits, sports leagues and teams, as it is widely recognized that racist symbols produce lasting physical and psychological stress and trauma particularly to Black communities, people of color and other oppressed groups, and the removal of racist symbols provides a necessary process for communities to remember historic acts of violence and recognize victims of oppression.”

Wayne lived in Orange County for the last 20, or so, years of his adult life, settling in Newport Beach in the early 1960s. He was also heavily involved in county politics as a Republican.

Flashback Video: Joe Biden Drops The N Word

A 1985 clip of Joe Biden is going viral online where he says the n-word twice in during a confirmation hearing.

Here’s the clip:

Longer clip:

You can see clearly that Biden is reading something, so these aren’t his own words.

That doesn’t matter.

Cancel Culture leftists don’t care about context and intent doesn’t matter.

It made no difference to them that both Washington and Jefferson wrote that they wanted abolition, just that they were slave owners and profited from slavery. That’s why monuments must come down.

To provide the proper context for Biden’s remarks, this was during the confirmation hearing of William Bradford Reynolds who was being appointed as Assistant Attorney General. Democrats had accused Reynolds of siding with bigots and rolling back racial progress. At one point, Biden quoted a complaint to Reynolds that used the n-word twice. –Clash Daily

Sen. Joseph Biden (D., Del.) questioned Reynolds about his handling of Louisiana`s congressional redistricting, where the state legislature initially had approved a plan that created a predominantly black district in New Orleans. But because of opposition from former Gov. David Treen and white legislators, the plan was replaced by one that split the black district and preserved the seat of a GOP congressman.

Biden pointed out that Reynolds was aware of complaints voiced by a key state legislator, whom the senator quoted as saying ”we already have a nigger mayor (in New Orleans); we don`t need another nigger big shot.”

Rogan: ‘News Media On The Left Has Completely Ignored Joe Biden’s “Cognitive Decline”

Published

on

By

“The Joe Rogan Experience” host Joe Rogan said that left-wing news media has “completely ignored” remarks by presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden allegedly showing that Biden is in “some kind of cognitive decline.”

“I’m seeing this one thing that I keep hearing over and over again from people on the Left that disturbs me – it’s this concession that what you’re voting for is the Cabinet, you’re voting for the Supreme Court, you’re voting for someone who’s not going to reverse Roe vs. Wade,” Rogan, who made positive comments about Bernie Sanders during the primary, said. “That’s what I keep hearing from my friends on the Left. They’ve basically just made this concession in their head like, ‘Hey, you know, this is what I’m voting for now.’ And the news media on the Left has completely ignored all of these Biden speeches that clearly show some sort of cognitive decline.”

“Like David Pakman, who I respect a lot, he was kind of arguing against it, that it didn’t show his decline,” Joe Rogan continued. “I was trying to look at it in a way that made sense, I was trying to be rational about it. I’m like, ‘Okay, maybe he’s just exhausted, or maybe this, or maybe it’s pressure.’”

“Sometimes people get really tongue-tied and panic under pressure, and words come out all f**ked up. That is possible. But there’s a trend,” Rogan continued. “If you go back to when he was a younger man, that trend didn’t exist. You’re seeing a change. The idea that as you get older you become less comfortable with the media, less comfortable with speaking publicly, that doesn’t jive with me. That doesn’t make any sense.”

Scientist Bret Weinstein, a guest on the show, responded: “I agree with you. I see a decline. But irrespective of what that is, Joe Biden is an influence peddler. He’s not an idea guy, right? He’s the same idea as Hillary Clinton in a different morphology. … How dare the Democratic Party do this to us again at this moment.”

Nancy Pelosi Cleanses House by Eliminating Historic Portraits of Southerners

Comrade Speaker Pelosi is cleansing the House of Representatives of its history by eliminating the portraits of past southern members.

Published

on

Comrade Speaker Pelosi is cleansing the House of Representatives of its history by eliminating the portraits of past southern members.

Speaker Pelosi had four portraits of former House Speakers removed from display on Thursday, according to reports.

Comrade Pelosi sent a letter to House Clerk Cheryl Johnson ordering him to remove portraits of the four past speakers in observance of Juneteenth, an unofficial holiday commemorating the Republican’s emancipation of the last slaves in the Confederacy.

“There is no room in the hallowed halls of Congress or in any place of honor for memorializing men who embody the violent bigotry and grotesque racism of the Confederacy,” Pelosi piously proclaimed.

The former Speakers whose history have now been whitewashed from the House are Robert Hunter of Virginia, who served as speaker from 1839 to 1841, Howell Cobb of Georgia, 1849 to 1851, James Orr of South Carolina, 1857 to 1859, and Charles Crisp of Georgia, 1891 to 1895.

Pelosi claimed she “did not know” the history of these past speakers until the media told her about it on Tuesday.

“We didn’t know about this until we were taking inventory of the statues and the curator told us that there were four paintings of speakers in the Capitol of the United States for speakers who had served in the Confederacy,” Pelosi exclaimed on Thursday.

“The portraits of these men are symbols that set back our nation’s work to confront and combat bigotry,” the speaker insisted. “Our Congressional community has the sacred opportunity and obligation to make meaningful change to ensure that the halls of Congress reflect our highest ideals as Americans. Let us lead by example.”

Paintings of the Speakers of the House have been hung in the Capitol since 1852 and now included the mages of more than 50 past speakers.

This purging of history needs to be repudiated and put to an end.
