Timing of Joe Biden’s 2014 Ukraine Trip Renews Concerns Over Corruption and Nepotism

The mainstream media can shout “debunked conspiracy theory” until they’re blue in the face, but it won’t change the facts of the situation.

Published

on

There is a very distinct reason why the House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff doesn’t want to preside over a deep dig into the matter of the Bidens’ business in Ukraine; namely, that the disclosure of the facts in the case would completely eviscerate the Democrats’ impeachment narrative.

As of right now, the Democratic angle on impeachment is that President Trump’s insistence on investigating corruption within Ukraine was somehow inappropriate or uncouth, and based on the Commander in Chief’s desire to drum up damaging dirt on Joe Biden ahead of the 2020 election.

For this narrative to be effective, Joe Biden will need to come out of this investigation unscathed and squeaky clean.  Otherwise, the President’s concerns would then be completed warranted, thus eradicating the plausible deniability the the Democrats are hiding behind.

That’s why Adam Schiff has attempted to forbid the GOP from calling Hunter Biden, son of Joe, as a witness in the UkraineGate impeachment inquiry.

In the mainstream media, the canned line about the Joe-Hunter-Ukraine connection being a “debunked conspiracy theory” is just that:  A canned line.  A soundbite meant to detract from the President’s defense.

But here are the facts:

Nepotism?  Check.

Continued use of hard drugs?  Check.

Then, just a month after this meeting…

As we can clearly see, the “debunked conspiracy theory” regarding Hunter Biden riding nepotism into his cushy Burisma gig is anything but debunked, regardless of the mainstream media’s incessant repetition of that talking point.

Furthermore, it would be highly detrimental to the Democrats for this information to become widespread, as it then vindicates the President’s concerns over American political involvement in Ukrainian corruption.

Trump Private Dinner Conversation Leaked, Attendees Discussed Yovanovitch

Where Lev Parnas goes, trouble for President Trump seems to follow.

Published

on

The sheer volume of avenues to explore in the UkraineGate impeachment case are enough for an entire anthology of Hollywood films, and, as the Senate begins to adjudicate the issue in earnest, we will surely be hearing a whole lot more about the ins-and-outs of the matter.

This information could be hard to come by, however, as Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has promised Republicans a swift and expedient trial with as few as zero witnesses being called.

The left seems to believe that this somehow delegitimizes the process.  In turn, a number of seemingly important pieces of information have come to the American people not through the official channels, but rather from sources outside of the Capitol.

The latest fork in the road is a fitting example.

A recording reviewed by ABC News appears to capture President Donald Trump telling associates he wanted the then-U.S. ambassador to UkraineMarie Yovanovitch fired while speaking at a small gathering that included Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman — two former business associates of Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani who have since been indicted in New York.

The recording appears to contradict statements by President Trump and support the narrative that has been offered by Parnas during broadcast interviews in recent days. Sources familiar with the recording said the recording was made during an intimate April 30, 2018, dinner at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Trump has said repeatedly he does not know Parnas, a Soviet-born American who has emerged as a wild card in Trump’s impeachment trial, especially in the days since Trump was impeached.

“Get rid of her!” is what the voice that appears to be President Trump’s is heard saying. “Get her out tomorrow. I don’t care. Get her out tomorrow. Take her out. Okay? Do it.”

Parnas has been a real thorn in the side of the Republicans’ case against impeachment, consistently interjecting new bits of information at the most inopportune times…quite conveniently for the Democrats.

This has raised the specter that his intentions are purely for self-preservation as he faces federal indictments stemming from his work as a foreign agent.

As Joe Says ‘No’ to Testifying, Rudy Giuliani Threatens to Reveal ‘The Goods’

Could Rudy be onto something here?

Published

on

This entire UkraineGate saga has at times felt like a made-for-TV movie.

There are some real characters involved in our real life political drama these days, and the Trump administration has been exception.  In the beginning of Trump’s first term, we were introduced to a shady, conniving lawyer and his porn star client.  Then, as 2020’s election came into view, we were treated to a debate performance by a spiritual guru running for President who called Trump a “dark, psychic force”.

Even in impeachment, we are being greeted daily by some outlandish persons and predicaments.

The most recent wildcard in The Beltway has been Rudy Giuliani, the former New York City Mayor and current personal attorney for Donald Trump.  Rudy has been part and parcel in the UkraineGate scandal, and has repeatedly insisted that the Biden family has been involved in corrupt dealings within the tiny European nation.

This week, Rudy threatened to spill ‘the goods’.

“Everything I tried to tell the press last March is now coming out, and more. I will now start to reveal the evidence directly to you, the People,” the former New York mayor tweeted. “The Biden Family Enterprise made millions by selling public office. Then when Joe was Obama’s Point Man, they ALL made millions.”

Giuliani’s claim that he could reveal evidence detrimental to the former vice president follows his offer to testify in Trump’s impeachment trial taking place in the Senate.

“I would love to see a trial. I’d love to be a witness – because I’m a potential witness in the trial – and explain to everyone the corruption that I found in Ukraine, that far out-surpasses any that I’ve ever seen before, involving Joe Biden and a lot of other Democrats,” he said Sunday morning on “The Cats Roundtable” with radio host John Catsimatidis on AM 970.

The revelation comes as former Vice President Joe Biden has emphatically stated that he has no interest in testifying before the Senate.

For some Republicans, Rudy’s antics have been a bit over-the-top.  But, should he produce definitive evidence of the Biden family fiascos that allegedly occurred in Ukraine, there may yet be a spot at the table for Mr. Mayor.

White House Warns Republicans to Stay in Line…or Else!

There was talk of placing their ‘heads on a pike’.

Published

on

The political extremes that our nation has come to face have created a sort of dichotic balancing act that leaves the entire nation often on the precipice of very real peril.

In matters of life or death, political or literal, we often see the fate of America and Americans being decide by a single vote or two.  This is by design, of course, as the Founding Fathers intended for our nation to exercise their newly minted First Amendment rights vigorously and often, allowing the people to work it out amongst themselves, rather than take order from on high.

That is why the impeachment saga that is currently unfolding in Washington has made for such riveting television:  It’s a narrow path that both parties are traveling.  If any stragglers or strays fall away from the group, there could be a wild swing in the outcome.

The White House recognizes this, and is taking steps to ensure that the flock remains intact.

Republican senators have been warned in stark terms not to break ranks with President Donald Trump during the impeachment trial, according to a new report.

‘Vote against the president, and your head will be on a pike,’ the senators were warned, an unnamed source close to the president told CBS News.

It’s unclear from the report whether the warning was issued by the White House or Republican leadership in the Senate.

So far, no Republican yet has defied the party on a series of procedural votes that set the rules for the trial — but the true test of loyalty is yet to come on the vote to convict.

The news comes as polls show a majority of Americans are hoping to see witnesses called in the Senate trial – something that Republican Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has been vociferously opposed to.

Puerto Rico: Protesters Bring A Guillotine To Governor’s Mansion

Published

A guillotine was carried to the governor’s mansion as Puerto Rico protests dramatically escalates.

The video shows the protesters carrying a full-sized guillotine to the governor’s mansion, also known as La Fortaleza or ‘the fortress’. The guillotine highlights a Puerto Rican flag.

TDC:

Puerto Rican protestors carried a “symbolic” guillotine to the American territory’s governor’s mansion on Thursday to protest leaders’ handling of disaster relief supplies.

As earthquakes continue to rock the island leaving thousands without power, Puerto Ricans are still suffering the effects from Hurricanes Irma and Maria. Late last week, residents of the city of Ponce discovered “a warehouse filled with water, cots and other unused emergency supplies,” NBC News reported. The unused supplies had been there since 2017.

Although Governor Wanda Vázquez fired several officials with oversight, including the U.S. territory’s housing secretary and Office of Emergency Management director, it wasn’t enough to stop massive protests Thursday, including one in which several protesters carried a guillotine to the governor’s mansion. New Poll Reveals America’s True Stance on Senate Impeachment Witnesses

And, since these buffoons are all “public servants”, what We The People want should be of the utmost importance, right?

Published

on

If you were to tune into the impeachment trial of Donald J. Trump today, without any context, it would be quite difficult to discern what our public servants were actually arguing over.

Is this whole kerfuffle about Russia or Ukraine?  Is this a quid pro quo or a “cover up”?  Who’s really in charge here, and why is House Rep. Adam Schiff still slinking around the Senate?

And, of course, the most pressing question of the week is whether or not there will be any witnesses called during the ordeal.  The Republicans want to hear from the Bidens, Joe and Hunter, about their seemingly shady Ukrainian business dealings, and the Democrats want to hear from folks in the White House regarding President Trump’s true intentions on that phone call with Volodymyr Zelensky.

But, since these are all just elected officials, (and technically public servants as mentioned before), the will of We The People should be of the utmost consideration, right?

A bipartisan majority of Americans want to see new witnesses testify in the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump, and the public appears to be largely following the proceedings even after a bruising congressional inquiry that lasted several months, according to Reuters/Ipsos polling released Wednesday.

The poll, which ran from Jan. 17-22, also showed that U.S. public opinion has moved little since the U.S. House of Representatives impeached Trump in mid-December.

About 44% of adults in the United States say Trump should be removed from office, another 15% say he should be reprimanded formally with a congressional censure, and 31% said the charges should be dismissed.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has previously rejected calls for impeachment witnesses on the grounds that the House was responsible for the “fact finding” portions of this process.

Hunter Biden Reportedly Preparing to Give Testimony in Impeachment Trial

This could be HUGE.

Published

on

The Democrats wanted witnesses, but it appears as though they had better be careful what they wish for.

A stunning new bit of reporting indicates that Hunter Biden, son of former Vice President Joe Biden, is currently preparing himself to take the stand in the impeachment trial of Donald Trump.

Hunter Biden, the youngest son of former Vice President and presidential candidate Joe Biden, is reportedly “prepping” at his Hollywood Hills residence for potential testimony in the Senate’s impeachment trial.

“Hunter is taking no chances, he knows that he could get called as a witness any day so he wants to be fully prepared, he’s going over every fine detail,” a source told the Daily Mailon Wednesday.

“He’s taking the trial very seriously and wants to make sure he’s ready for whatever the Republicans throw at him,” the source added.

Democrats have long insisted that neither Hunter nor Joe Biden would be appropriate impeachment witnesses – a characterization that is quite obviously in dispute.

President Trump is facing impeachment after a July 25th, 2019 phone call was flagged as “inappropriate” by an anonymous whistleblower who believed that the President was attempting to extort Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky into opening an investigation that would be harmful to Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign.

The investigation sought by the President has been characterized by the GOP as a simply look into the state of corruption in Ukraine, which is itself a prerequisite of the military aid that the United States provides to the tiny European nation.

Hunter Biden has long stood accused of inappropriately benefiting in Ukrainian natural gas deals due to his father’s standing among the global elite.  Were this to be proven true through his testimony, it would lend a great deal of credence to Trump’s “corruption” probe claims.

Hillary Again Blasted Over Bernie Burn, This Time by Meghan McCain

Clinton just can’t take a hint, it seems.

Published

on

Hillary Clinton just won’t go away, and that is something that the Democrats will need to deal with sooner rather than later.

Clinton was infamously outed during the 2016 election, after colluding with the DNC in order to rig the primaries against then-opponent Bernie Sanders.  The Vermont Senator’s rabid fanbase refused to forgive Clinton for this, after it was reported by Wikileaks, and soon the former First Lady was being trounced by Donald Trump in the general election thanks to the lack of support from the far left wing of the Democratic Party.

And even though Hillary isn’t yet involved in the 2020 election officially, she has been there in spirit, again attempting to bash Bernie Sanders ahead of the all-important Iowa caucuses.  This week, the former Secretary of State said of Sanders that “nobody likes him” – a pathetic and childish jab if there ever was one.

This has led to another large backlash from Democrats, who’ve long requested that Clinton just fade away into obscurity.  Today, however, the daughter of Republican legend John McCain got in on the action as well.

On Wednesday, [Meghan] McCain expressed sympathy toward Clinton for being attacked by “Bernie Bros” on social media but took issue with her “nobody likes him” remark.

“I think the timing is bad and I think the language is bad,” McCain told her daytime TV colleagues. “It does sound like, ‘Nobody likes you.’ I mean, as someone who knows what it feels like to have someone say ‘nobody likes you’ in the press, it’s stupid and it’s juvenile. And I do think she has much more ammo in her back pocket to use against him.”

Hillary had hinted several times earlier in the 2020 cycle that she may be interested in running again, prompting many to roll their eyes – on both sides of the aisle.

There has been no word yet as to whether or not her continued presence in the American political theater is the preface to a possible VP nod.
