President Wants To Send Checks To Households Immediately

Published

on

President Trump wants the government to send checks to Americans in the next two weeks in an effort to curb the economic cost of the coronavirus outbreak, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said today.

“We’re looking at sending checks to Americans immediately,” Mnuchin said, adding, “Americans need cash now and the president wants to get cash now.”

President Donald Trump said at the White House Tuesday he wanted the federal government to send direct payments to Americans suffering economically from the coronavirus as part of a larger rescue package.

“We’re going big,” Trump said, adding, “We want to go big, go solid.” The proposal was detailed by Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin on Tuesday during a press briefing at the White House.

Mnuchin said that Americans could expect an individual stimulus within two weeks as he continued to negotiate with Congress.

He added that wealthy Americans would not get direct payments as they did not need it.

“I think it’s clear, we don’t need to send people who make millions of dollars a year checks, OK?” Mnuchin said to reporters. Trump agreed. “Obviously some people shouldn’t be getting checks for $1,000.

Mnuchin said that some of the reported funding numbers of $850 billion for a rescue were probably more expensive than the final bill would be, but that details would be released later in the day.

“This is stuff that needs to be done now, the president has instructed to me that this is no fault to American workers,” he said.

Trump said there were four different ways to get funding directly to Americans, and said that although he supported a payroll tax cut, he was looking at a better way to get funding to Americans faster. More

To those who have been genuinely caused harm by this WuFlu pandemic, some assistance is not out of order. However, there are a lot of opportunists and people who will be taking advantage of it that should not benefit from it. Our kids and grandkids are going to have to pay for it.

Here’s What Trump’s Coronavirus-Relief Executive Orders Will Deliver

Here’s What Trump’s Coronavirus-Relief Executive Orders Will Deliver

President Donald Trump signed four executive actions to provide Americans financial relief from the ongoing coronavirus pandemic after failed negotiations with Democrats in congress. Democrats have promised to file a legal challenge, citing Congress’ constitutional authority to determine federal spending

$400 weekly federal unemployment aid, assistance to renters and homeowners, payroll tax holiday, and extension of student loan relief.

Fox News:

Here’s a look at what they would do:

$400 weekly federal unemployment aid.

Trump’s executive action calls for $400-per-week in supplemental unemployment aid. Unemployed people were getting $600-a-week extra until the federal program expired at the end of July.

Trump’s action would require states to pay for 25 percent of the $400 weekly benefit, while the federal government would pick up 75 percent.

Trump would divert up to $44 billion from FEMA’s Disaster Relief Fund to cover the unemployment program.

The extra unemployment help would last until Dec. 6 or until the Disaster Relief Fund balance drops to $25 billion, “whichever occurs first,” according to the White House memo.

This supplemental aid is on top of existing state unemployment benefits. State payments vary widely, from $235 a week maximum in Mississippi to $1,234 in Massachusetts.

Assistance to Renters and Homeowners.

Congress passed the CARES Act in March that issued a 120-day temporary eviction moratorium on renters in federal housing assistance programs or those who live in a property with a federally backed mortgage. That eviction moratorium expired in July.

Trump’s executive action would encourage federal efforts to help renters and homeowners avoid eviction or foreclosure for failing to make their monthly payments. He directs his administration to identify available funds to “provide temporary financial assistance to renters and homeowners who, as a result of the financial hardships caused by COVID-19, are struggling to meet their monthly rental or mortgage obligations.” More

President Donald Trump is just taking away the Nancy Pelosi’s leverage, now he can wait for a deal with them. It’ll be interesting to see. If they do tie these up in court it could cost Democrats the election. Trump has them in a bind. Don’t tie it up in court, people get relief, it may help Trump in November. Tie it up in court and they’re looked at as the party who withheld money from people.

Top FBI Brass Took ‘Extraordinary’ Steps To Hide Russia Investigation Docs From Trump

CNN chief legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin revealed in his upcoming book: The FBI took extraordinary – and previously undisclosed – steps to protect its investigations.

From Comey’s first meetings with Trump, shortly after he won the presidency, the FBI director developed misgivings about his new boss’ behavior – about Trump’s demands for “loyalty,” and even more unnerving, his request that the Bureau drop its investigation of Flynn. Comey’s conversations with Trump had been so distressing that the director started writing up contemporaneous summaries of their interactions and sharing them with a handful of top officials at the Bureau. Now, suddenly, Comey was out – and the question arose of what to do with his memos about his conversations with the President.

TDW:

Top FBI officials made copies of memos written by former Director James Comey on his meetings with President Donald Trump and hid those copies “in remote locations around the bureau,” aiming to shield them from the administration.

CNN chief legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin revealed the steps FBI brass took to protect its investigation into alleged ties between the Trump administration and Russia in Toobin’s new book, “TRUE CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS: The Investigation of Donald Trump.” CNN published an excerpt of the book on Thursday.

In early 2017 after Trump took office, then-FBI Director James Comey feared that Trump would quash an ongoing investigation into alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia to influence the 2016 election. The investigation was almost solely based on the debunked Steele dossier.

Comey’s fear drove him to write memos on conversations he had with the president and share those memos with top FBI staff. After Comey’s ouster from the bureau in May 2017, top FBI officials worried that they would be next and took steps to shield the Russia investigation. More

The corrupt FBI is the enemy of the American people. This is the biggest scandal in American political history and the MSM couldn’t care less about it because the Orange Man Bad. Everyone that was involved in this scheme should be in prison.

Trump Signs Order to Prevent Counting Illegal Aliens in Congressional Representation

President Trump has signed an order to prevent adding illegal aliens to the rolls that determine congressional representation.

Published

on

President Donald Trump has signed an order to prevent adding illegal aliens to the rolls that determine congressional representation with the U.S. Census.

A state’s representation in Congress is determined by the number of citizens living in its districts. And congressional districts are routinely redrawn after a U.S. Census determines how many people live in each district.

But liberals are pushing to add illegals to those numbers so that Democrat districts can seem to be larger than they legally are. This, though, is not going to happen, the president says.

The White House Press Office on Tuesday sent out the president’s memo that reads, “I have accordingly determined that respect for the law and protection of the integrity of the democratic process warrant the exclusion of illegal aliens from the apportionment base, to the extent feasible and to the maximum extent of the President’s discretion under the law.”

According to Reuters, a senior Trump administration official said the memo “is another decisive step toward fulfilling his solemn pledge to ensure only American citizens have congressional representation, not illegal aliens.”

Trump signed the memo on Tuesday in the Oval Office.

Liberals will likely file a raft of lawsuits to try and stop the president from excluding lawbreaking illegals in congressional representation.

Trump’s memo attempted to lay out a legal basis for his policy saying, “Although the Constitution requires the ‘persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed,’ to be enumerated in the census, that requirement has never been understood to include in the apportionment base every individual physically present within a State’s boundaries at the time of the census.”

“Instead, the term ‘persons in each State’ has been interpreted to mean that only the ‘inhabitants’ of each State should be included,” the memo adds. “Determining which persons should be considered ‘inhabitants’ for the purpose of apportionment requires the exercise of judgment. For example, aliens who are only temporarily in the United States, such as for business or tourism, and certain foreign diplomatic personnel are ‘persons’ who have been excluded from the apportionment base in past censuses.”

Citing federal employees and soldiers living overseas, the Trump memo also points out that the Constitution does not exclude people not physically in the country when apportionment is determined.

“The discretion delegated to the executive branch to determine who qualifies as an ‘inhabitant’ includes authority to exclude from the apportionment base aliens who are not in a lawful immigration status,” the memo continued.

Trump Rally Earns Fox News Biggest Saturday Ratings in History, John Oliver Hardest Hit

Even as the left tries to claim it somehow ruined Trump’s Tulsa rally, the event gave Fox News its biggest Saturday ratings it ever got.

Even as the left tries to claim it somehow ruined President Donald Trump’s Tulsa rally, the event gave Fox News its biggest Saturday ratings it ever got in its entire broadcasting history.

Fox saw 7.7 million viewers during Trump’s rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma over the weekend.

Per Fox:

A whopping 7.7 million total viewers tuned into Fox News from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. EDT during Trump’s remarks, making it the most watched Saturday in the network’s history during that time period, according to early Nielsen data.

Trump’s rally also gave Fox News its largest Saturday night primetime audience ever from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Trump’s State of the Union address is the only telecast on Fox News in 2020 to outdraw the 9 p.m. hour of Trump’s speech on Saturday, which averaged 8.2 million total viewers.

The numbers were big online, too.

“President Trump’s rally in Tulsa attracted over 4 million unique viewers across all of the campaign’s digital media channels. The live-streamed pre-rally shows drew an audience of more than 2.5 million unique viewers by themselves,” Trump 2020 communications director Tim Murtaugh said in a statement.

Fox added:

Fox News’ YouTube stream picked up over 2.1 million views, while Fox Business Network’s livestream drew over 580,000. The rally was streamed on a variety of other platforms, as well.

Fox News earned some other fantastic ratings, too.

Sunday’s ratings show that Fox News swamped HBO’s Last Week Tonight with extremist, left-wing “comedian” John Oliver.

According to Nielsen Media Research, Fox’s prime time line-up of Tucker Carlson Tonight (4,138,000 viewers), Hannity (4,248,000 viewers) and The Ingraham Angle (3,586,000 viewers) along with FOX & Friends (1,700,000 million viewers) easily beat HBO’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (881,000 viewers) in the ratings.

So, the lefty “comedians” who used to rule the weekends are slipping badly.

President Trump Authorizes Feds To Arrest Anyone Who Vandalizes Statues On Federal Property

Published

President Donald Trump announced early this morning that he has “authorized” the federal government to arrest anyone who vandalizes statues or monuments on federal property.

His announcement comes after rioters have destroyed numerous statues of former presidents in recent days, including statues of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Ulysses S. Grant.

“I have authorized the Federal Government to arrest anyone who vandalizes or destroys any monument, statue or other such Federal property in the U.S. with up to 10 years in prison, per the Veteran’s Memorial Preservation Act, or such other laws that may be pertinent,” Trump tweeted. “This action is taken effective immediately, but may also be used retroactively for destruction or vandalism already caused. There will be no exceptions!”

President Donald Trump weighed in last night on the rioters who tried to destroy a statue of former President Andrew Jackson earlier in the day, writing: “Numerous people arrested in D.C. for the disgraceful vandalism, in Lafayette Park, of the magnificent Statue of Andrew Jackson, in addition to the exterior defacing of St. John’s Church across the street. 10 years in prison under the Veteran’s Memorial Preservation Act. Beware!”

Trump Police Executive Order Seeks To Ban Chokeholds By Police, Increase Training Funding

President Trump signed an executive order today on police reform amid a broad national debate sparked by the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

“What is needed now is not more stoking of fear and division. We need to bring law enforcement and communities closer together, not to drive them apart,” President Trump said during a Rose Garden event.

TDC:

President Donald Trump signed an executive order Tuesday calling for a ban on chokeholds by police and an increase in funding for training programs at police departments across the country.

The order offers federal funding grants to police departments that seek independent credentialing certifying they have met standards on new use-of-force and de-escalation training, according to White House deputy press secretary Judd Deere. The order also calls for increased funding to police to assist them in handling mental health and homeless crises. More

The three components of President Trump’s executive order are:

  1. Creating credentialing and certification programs in every police department across the nation
  2. Information sharing — create a national database that can track officers with excessive use of force complaints so they can’t skip from department to department
  3. Incentivize co-responder programs — have mental health experts accompany officers on responses to non-violent calls involving homelessness, addiction, and other mental health issues

Another Reason to Vote Trump Back In: He Purges Obamaites from Voice of America

Trump is finally purging the Obama hold overs to make the Voice of America a voice of freedom once again.

Published

on

Radio broadcaster Voice of America used to be a voice for freedom… until Obama took over. Now, at long last, Trump is purging the Obama hold overs to make VOA a voice of freedom once again.

These sort of moves, America, is why we MUST give Donald Trump another four years in the White House.

Trump replaced the VOA head with his choice of directors, Michael Pack. Trump has fought against Obama’s deep state, left-wing, anti-American holdovers at the VOA for years trying to get his appointees into the broadcasting concern.

But Trump was finally victorious:

“Congratulations to Michael Pack! Nobody has any idea what a big victory this is for America. Why? Because he is going to be running the VOICE OF AMERICA, and everything associated with it,” Trump tweeted. “Michael is Tough, Smart, and Loves our Country. This has been a big battle in Congress for 25 years. Thank you to our Great Republican Senate!”

And even a list of fighters for democracy, freedom, and liberty in the Middle East celebrated the announcement:

There were many many more, as AmericanThinker noted.

It is about time Obama’s Muslim terror-supporting holdovers were purged from the Voice of America.

Trump is slowly eliminating Obama’s anti-American, deep-staters. We need to give him four more years to keep at it.
