Polls Begin Trending Against Defund the Police Movement

Published

on

As Black Lives Matter terrorists continue to destroy America’s biggest cities, polls are beginning to favor the police and are trending against the defund the police movement.

Weeks ago, polls seemed to favor the Black Lives Matter terrorist’s attack on cops, but with the cities going up in flames and crime skyrocketing, the polls are seeing a reversal of that favor.

According to the latest polling, only two in ten people polled now support the defund the police movement.

A new Rasmussen Report finds growing support for police and law and order, even among blacks.

Trending: Black Lives Matter Leader Now Says White People’s Churches ‘Should All Come Down’

The survey found 66% of adults saying they oppose cutting the budget for the police in their community, and don’t want to fund more social services, the scheme pushed by many liberals. That is up from 59 percent in June.

Rasmussen added that 23 percent “favor defunding the cops where they live,” which is down from 27 percent just a few weeks ago.

These are pretty big swings in just a few weeks’ time.

Rasmussen also found that it isn’t just white people turning against the liberal policy idea.

The polling group said that 57 percent of black people oppose defunding police in their community. Whites agreed at 69 percent, and other minorities at 62 percent.

The left is also losing the battle for hearts and minds on what will happen if the police would be defunded. Only 12 percent think defunding the police will cut crime. Worse for the left’s scheme, 61 percent see crime escalating.

Black Lives Matter Threatens KY Businesses: Give Us Money Or We’ll Loot Your Store

A Black Lives Matter group has begun threatening local businesses in Louisville, Kentucky, just like the Mafia does.

A Black Lives Matter group has begun threatening local businesses in Louisville, Kentucky, and telling them if they don’t give protection money, their shops will be looted.

Just like the Mafia, these BLM terrorists have now moved to extortion.

One business owner has had enough and is speaking up. Fernando Martinez owns several Mexican-style restaurants in the area, and he said he is shocked by the Mafioso tactics now being perpetrated by the Black Lives Matter terrorists in the city.

“There comes a time in life that you have to make a stand and you have to really prove your convictions and what you believe in,” Martinez wrote in a Facebook post reported by the Courier-Journal. “… All good people need to denounce this. How can you justified [sic] injustice with more injustice?”

As soon as Martinez made his feelings on the matter public, BLM terrorists surrounded his business and began harassing him and his customers.

The BLM terrorists have been telling businesses that they will be targeted for looting and destruction unless certain demands are made.

Some of those demands include:

  • Adequately represent the Black population of Louisville by having a minimum of 23% Black staff;
  • Purchase a minimum of 23% inventory from Black retailers or make a recurring monthly donation of 1.5% of net sales to a local Black nonprofit or organization;
  • Require diversity and inclusion training for all staff members on a bi-annual basis;
  • And display a visible sign that increases awareness and shows support for the reparations movement

So, what happened to Matinez’s restaurant?

BLM threatened the employees so badly that they refused to come to work because they feared for their lives. His restaurant was vandalized. And he had to shut it down in the face of the daily attacks.

How is Black Lives Matter any different from any other criminal gang?

Miami Heat Player Explains Why He Won’t Wear Black Lives Matter Shirt or Kneel During Anthem

The Miami Heat’s Meyers Leonard is the only member of his team refusing to take a knee during the national anthem.

The Miami Heat’s Meyers Leonard is the only member of his team refusing to take a knee during the national anthem, and now he is explaining why.

Leonard says that not only is he a committed Christian, but he just can’t bring himself to protest against the country during the anthem because he is a huge supporter of the U.S. military.

Not only is Leonard’s brother serving as a U.S. Marine in Afghanistan, but he counts a number of Navy SEALs as close personal friends.

Still, he says he understands and believes in what people say is the basic idea of Black Lives Matter.

“I absolutely believe Black Lives Matter,” Leonard said over the weekend, according to Fox News.

“Some of the conversations I’ve had over the past three days, quite literally, have been the most difficult,” Leonard added. “I am with the Black Lives Matter movement and I love and support the military and my brother and the people who have fought to defend our rights in this country.”

But he went on to criticize the fact that so many people see the issues as an us vs. them proposition.

“I am a compassionate human being and I truly love all people,” he said. “I can’t fully comprehend how our world, literally and figuratively, has turned into Black and white. There’s a line in the sand, so to speak: ‘If you’re not kneeling, you’re not with us.’ And that’s not true.”

“I live my life to serve and impact others in a positive way,” he said.

Leonard is not the only pro athlete refusing to fall in line for the terroristic Black Lives Matter movement.

Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac decided to remain standing during the national anthem during the weekend’s games. Like Leonard, he also will not wear any BLM apparel.

Isaac noted that being a pro-athlete does not give anyone a sudden grasp of all truth.

“Just because we are in the position of being an NBA player, it doesn’t give us automatically an understanding or insight to issues that happen around us,” he said. “But I think because we have the ear of so many it’s important for us to be diligent, to be vocal, but in a balanced way”

Another player that bravely bucked the left-wing establishment was Major League Baseball player Sam Coonrod said that he will not disrespect the country by kneeling because he is a Christian and only kneels before God.

A black man who was sick to death of a bunch of Black Lives Matter protesters blocking a road in Austin, Texas, erupted at them, screaming “I got to go to work. I got bills. I got kids. Get the fuck out of my way.”

The video posted by Human Events magazine Managing Editor Ian Miles Cheong is telling in that it proves that what these BLM idiots and terrorists are doing is not helping anyone.

As Cheong noted: “A black man got out of his car in Austin to scold Black Lives Matter protesters for blocking the roads and preventing him from going to work and feeding his kids.”

“Hey look, I understand the [inaudible], I appreciate it, but I got to go to work, I’m black,” the man said. “I got to go to work. I got bills. I got kids. Get the f*** out my way. I’m about to air this b***h out. I got to go to work.”

The incident happened as the BLM terrorists were out on the streets last Saturday night in Austin, the most left-wing city in the state.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), a number of these BLM terrorists were recently arrested and charged with a variety of violations of the law:

  • Syed Imran Ali, 24, of Spring, Texas, was arrested on July 21 for misdemeanor riot for pushing into a restricted area on Capitol grounds during a protest and refusing to leave after repeated requests from law enforcement. Ali was arrested without incident during a traffic stop and booked into the Harris County Jail. In addition to the riot charge, Ali was previously arrested for criminal trespass stemming from the riots.
  • Cassidy Julia Nordstrom, 26, of Austin, Texas, was arrested on July 23 for two misdemeanor counts, one for riot and another for obstruction of a roadway for throwing water bottles at troopers and illegally blocking Interstate 35. Nordstrom was booked into the Travis County Jail.
  • Gabriel Brett Krug, 22, of Temple, Texas, was arrested on July 24 by the Temple Police Department for one count each of felony criminal mischief and misdemeanor riot for damaging DPS property on Capitol grounds and at the Governor’s Mansion during the protest. He was booked into the Bell County Jail.
  • Bryan Becerril, 17, of Pflugerville, Texas, was arrested on July 24 for one misdemeanor count each of criminal mischief and participating in a riot in connection with vandalizing an unmarked DPS patrol vehicle at the Texas State Capitol. He was booked into the Travis County Jail.
  • Nickia Kasha Hunt, 25, of Austin, Texas, was arrested on July 25 for one misdemeanor count each of criminal mischief and participating in a riot in connection with damaging DPS property at the Texas State Capitol and at the Governor’s Mansion. Hunt was booked into the Travis County Jail.
  • Jordan Chance Teal, 18, of Austin, turned himself in on July 29 after an arrest warrant was obtained for one felony count of assault on a public servant in connection with a riot during which a DPS Tooper was injured. Teal was booked into the Travis County Jail.

Here’s hoping none of them ever taste the sweetness of freedom again.

Mugged By Reality: AP Reporter SHOCKED to Find BLM Riots Not ‘Mostly Peaceful’

A reporter for the Associated Press called it an “eye opener” after spending the weekend with federal officers in Portland.

Portland's Democrat Mayor Says DHS Officers Are To Blame For Violence, Not Rioters

A reporter for the Associated Press said he experienced an “eye opener” after spending the weekend with federal officers as they were assailed by Black Lives Matter terrorists inside Portland’s federal courthouse.

Mike Balsamo is a reported for the Associated Press and covers the Department of Justice and federal law enforcement stories for the wire service.

He noted that he covered the riots from the side of the federal officers holed up inside the federal courthouse in Portland last weekend and what he saw shocked him.

“I spent the weekend inside the Portland federal courthouse w/ the US Marshals. Mortars were being fired off repeatedly, fireworks & flares shot into the lobby, frozen bottles, concrete, cans & bouncy balls regularly whizzed over the fence at high speeds,” Balsamo tweeted on Sunday.

From there he went on a tweet storm that really shows what sort of terrorists these Black Lives Matter riots contain.

Check this out:

These are not “protesters.”

These are dangerous criminals who are self-appointed enemies of this country.

Black Portland Man Stops Excusing Riots After Attending and Seeing They Aren’t Peaceful

A black Portland man has stopped excusing the Black Lives Matter riots after attending one and seeing how violent they are.

Portland's Democrat Mayor Says DHS Officers Are To Blame For Violence, Not Rioters

A black Portland man has stopped excusing the Black Lives Matter riots after attending one and finding out for himself that they are NOT “mostly peaceful.”

Gabe Johnson, a 48-year-old Marine Corps veteran, has had an epiphany about the riots and now says that the Portland Police need to do anything they can to put an end to the riots.

Johnson spoke to PJ Media and told them he is furious how these rioters have stolen the cause of anti-racism from legitimate activists.

But this is not how he always felt about the Black Lives Matter movement. Initially he supported it and justified the protests. That all changed last week when he decided to attend a protest in Portland himself.

A protest on a Saturday night kept him awake, Johnson said. He kept hearing explosions and wisps of teargas kept wafting onto his home. So, he decided to go out and see what it was all about.

“You know, so I literally stood up and just yelled,” Johnson told PJ Media. “‘Oh my God,’ I actually yelled. ‘Oh my effing God.’ It was just like somebody has to do something. I don’t know what that something is. I didn’t at that time, but I knew something had to be done and I figured I would just sleep on it.”

“When I woke up in the morning,” Johnson said, “it was clear as day, almost like it was just planted in my head. This is what you’re going to do. Hopefully we can start a conversation. Here we are now we are starting this conversation. But I can tell you the experience was eye-opening. I did not believe what I used to call the rhetoric about Antifa. I was thinking that maybe they’re just, you know, some punk kids or whatever it was, some righteous anger in there. I quickly found out that that’s not the case.”

One thing Johnson noticed is that Antifa is using the same terrorist tactics that foreign operatives use.

“They’re utilizing the same tactics that any other terrorist organization would,” Johnson exclaimed. “They’ve got spotters with cameras that will follow you around, and they’ve got their thugs. Those are the guys with the baseball bats. They have people that will intimidate you in Black Lives Matter attire.”

Still, when he went out to the protest with his flags, Johnson was hoping to have meaningful conversations with the protests. But instead of dialog, he was physically assaulted. And it should be noted, Johnson is not a supporter of Donald Trump.

In the end, what he saw and experienced left him a bitter opponent of the lies spread by Black Lives Matter.

Bears Coach Mike Ditka Says People Who Don’t ‘Respect’ The National Anthem Should ‘Get The Hell Out Of’ USA

Chicago Bears legend Mike Ditka says who protest against the country during the national anthem: they can “get the heel out” of the USA.

Published

Chicago Bears legend Mike Ditka left no doubt how he feels about people who protest against the country during the national anthem: they can “get the heel out” of the USA.

Ditka, made famous by coaching “da Bears” in the 1980s, is sick and tired of seeing people take a knee during the national anthem.

“If you can’t respect our national anthem, get the hell out of the country. That’s the way I feel. Of course, I’m old fashioned. So, I’m only going to say what I feel. I think there’s a way you protest and there’s a way you don’t protest,” Ditka told TMZ on Sunday.

Ditka, memorialized as “da coach,” said taking a knee during the anthem is a slap in the face to the country.

“You don’t protest against the flag and you don’t protest against this country who’s given you the opportunities to make a living playing a sport that you never thought would happen,” Ditka said. “So, I don’t want to hear all the crap.”

The NFL Hall of Fame coach is was recently named the chairman of the newly reorganized “X League” — a women’s tackle football league that was previously known as the Legends Football League.

Still, chairman or no, Ditka admits that he does not have the final say on whether or not the players of this new league can protest during games. The coach noted that these are just his personal feelings on kneeling.

Ditka is pretty excited about the new venture, though.

“These women are pretty and good looking and want to knock the crap out of each other — we’ll see how it works!” he said enthusiastically.
