Philadelphia: ICE Catches Alleged Child Sexual Predator Repeatedly Released By Police

The Philadelphia PD has arrested Hector Moran-Espinoza, an illegal alien accused of heinous sexual abuse crimes against minors, on two different occasions.

Both times, the Philadelphia Police Department chose to ignore a detainer request by ICE choosing instead to release him back into the community.

Daily Caller:

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents were able to arrest an illegal alien accused of sexual abuse against children after local police refused to honor an ICE detainer and twice released him from their custody.

The Philadelphia Police Department arrested Hector Moran-Espinoza, a Guatemalan national living in the U.S. illegally, on two different occasions on charges relating to the sexual abuse of children. Both times, federal immigration authorities lodged a detainer request for Moran-Espinoza, but both times, Philadelphia Police ignored their requests and released him back into the community, according to a press release from ICE.

The PPD arrested Moran-Espinoza on April 2 for an eyebrow-raising list of charges: involuntary deviate sexual intercourse by forcible compulsion, unlawful contact with a minor-sexual offenses, statuary sexual assault, endangering the welfare of children-parent or guardian commits offense, indecent assault-without the consent of other person, rape by forceable compulsion, sexual abuse of children-photographing, videotaping, depicting on a computer or filming sexual acts, aggravated indecent assault without consent, corruption of minors, and reckless endangerment of another person

ICE’s Philadelphia Enforcement and Removal Operations lodged an immigration detainer on the same day of Moran-Espinoza’s arrest, which asked PPD to hold onto him temporarily until ICE agents could arrive at the detention center and make an apprehension. However, the PPD chose to ignore the request and released Moran-Espinoza, according to ICE. More

What is mind-boggling is that no matter how much hatred they have for President Trump, there are no political and moral value concerns for the children these monsters are targeting and irreparably forever harming. It is far past time that the Democrats put their political hatred aside and do what is best for the protection of all law-abiding citizens, protecting the vulnerable, not the criminals.

New Poll Reveals America’s True Stance on Senate Impeachment Witnesses

And, since these buffoons are all “public servants”, what We The People want should be of the utmost importance, right?

Published

on

If you were to tune into the impeachment trial of Donald J. Trump today, without any context, it would be quite difficult to discern what our public servants were actually arguing over.

Is this whole kerfuffle about Russia or Ukraine?  Is this a quid pro quo or a “cover up”?  Who’s really in charge here, and why is House Rep. Adam Schiff still slinking around the Senate?

And, of course, the most pressing question of the week is whether or not there will be any witnesses called during the ordeal.  The Republicans want to hear from the Bidens, Joe and Hunter, about their seemingly shady Ukrainian business dealings, and the Democrats want to hear from folks in the White House regarding President Trump’s true intentions on that phone call with Volodymyr Zelensky.

But, since these are all just elected officials, (and technically public servants as mentioned before), the will of We The People should be of the utmost consideration, right?

A bipartisan majority of Americans want to see new witnesses testify in the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump, and the public appears to be largely following the proceedings even after a bruising congressional inquiry that lasted several months, according to Reuters/Ipsos polling released Wednesday.

The poll, which ran from Jan. 17-22, also showed that U.S. public opinion has moved little since the U.S. House of Representatives impeached Trump in mid-December.

About 44% of adults in the United States say Trump should be removed from office, another 15% say he should be reprimanded formally with a congressional censure, and 31% said the charges should be dismissed.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has previously rejected calls for impeachment witnesses on the grounds that the House was responsible for the “fact finding” portions of this process.

Hunter Biden Reportedly Preparing to Give Testimony in Impeachment Trial

This could be HUGE.

Published

on

The Democrats wanted witnesses, but it appears as though they had better be careful what they wish for.

A stunning new bit of reporting indicates that Hunter Biden, son of former Vice President Joe Biden, is currently preparing himself to take the stand in the impeachment trial of Donald Trump.

Hunter Biden, the youngest son of former Vice President and presidential candidate Joe Biden, is reportedly “prepping” at his Hollywood Hills residence for potential testimony in the Senate’s impeachment trial.

“Hunter is taking no chances, he knows that he could get called as a witness any day so he wants to be fully prepared, he’s going over every fine detail,” a source told the Daily Mailon Wednesday.

“He’s taking the trial very seriously and wants to make sure he’s ready for whatever the Republicans throw at him,” the source added.

Democrats have long insisted that neither Hunter nor Joe Biden would be appropriate impeachment witnesses – a characterization that is quite obviously in dispute.

President Trump is facing impeachment after a July 25th, 2019 phone call was flagged as “inappropriate” by an anonymous whistleblower who believed that the President was attempting to extort Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky into opening an investigation that would be harmful to Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign.

The investigation sought by the President has been characterized by the GOP as a simply look into the state of corruption in Ukraine, which is itself a prerequisite of the military aid that the United States provides to the tiny European nation.

Hunter Biden has long stood accused of inappropriately benefiting in Ukrainian natural gas deals due to his father’s standing among the global elite.  Were this to be proven true through his testimony, it would lend a great deal of credence to Trump’s “corruption” probe claims.

Hillary Again Blasted Over Bernie Burn, This Time by Meghan McCain

Clinton just can’t take a hint, it seems.

Published

on

Hillary Clinton just won’t go away, and that is something that the Democrats will need to deal with sooner rather than later.

Clinton was infamously outed during the 2016 election, after colluding with the DNC in order to rig the primaries against then-opponent Bernie Sanders.  The Vermont Senator’s rabid fanbase refused to forgive Clinton for this, after it was reported by Wikileaks, and soon the former First Lady was being trounced by Donald Trump in the general election thanks to the lack of support from the far left wing of the Democratic Party.

And even though Hillary isn’t yet involved in the 2020 election officially, she has been there in spirit, again attempting to bash Bernie Sanders ahead of the all-important Iowa caucuses.  This week, the former Secretary of State said of Sanders that “nobody likes him” – a pathetic and childish jab if there ever was one.

This has led to another large backlash from Democrats, who’ve long requested that Clinton just fade away into obscurity.  Today, however, the daughter of Republican legend John McCain got in on the action as well.

On Wednesday, [Meghan] McCain expressed sympathy toward Clinton for being attacked by “Bernie Bros” on social media but took issue with her “nobody likes him” remark.

“I think the timing is bad and I think the language is bad,” McCain told her daytime TV colleagues. “It does sound like, ‘Nobody likes you.’ I mean, as someone who knows what it feels like to have someone say ‘nobody likes you’ in the press, it’s stupid and it’s juvenile. And I do think she has much more ammo in her back pocket to use against him.”

Hillary had hinted several times earlier in the 2020 cycle that she may be interested in running again, prompting many to roll their eyes – on both sides of the aisle.

There has been no word yet as to whether or not her continued presence in the American political theater is the preface to a possible VP nod.

RussiaGate Rears Its Ugly Head Again, as Schiff Obsesses Over Putin on Senate Floor

Did the Democrats just pull a bait-and-switch on Nancy Pelosi?

Published

on

It took a lot of convincing to get House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to get on board with the impeachment of Donald Trump.

In fact, it took some very specific accusations to get the California Democrat to jump on the bandwagon, stemming from a whistleblower complaint detailing alleged improprieties committed by the President during a phone call with Ukraine’s leadership.

Only when Nancy could needle the Commander in Chief was she on board, after rejecting her party’s cries to impeach Trump after the Robert Mueller-led investigation in the 2016 election culminated in no charges for Trump.  Mueller had spent 22 months and at least $25 million in that endeavor, dredging up hundreds of pages of information.

That didn’t move Pelosi, but a July phone call with Ukraine did.

Now, the Democrats may have very well pulled a bait-and-switch on their own leadership, as House Intel Committee Chair and impeachment juror Adam Schiff returns to RussiaGate to lambast the President on the Senate floor.

Schiff repeated the word “Russia,” “Russian,” or “Russians” about 30 times during his over two-hour opening speech, according to a rough transcript of the hearing. Schiff repeated widely-debunked conspiracy theories that Trump intentionally colluded with Russia to influence the 2016 election against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Schiff also repeatedly referred to the Kremlin and Russian President Vladimir Putin to accuse Trump of siding with them to pressure the Ukrainians.

Much of Schiff’s opening remarks retreaded existing arguments from  Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation that found no collusion with Russia and included repeated references to the Mueller report and his testimony to Congress.

The RussiaGate angle won’t likely play well with the general public either, who are growing ever more annoyed at the impeachment-borne stagnation in our nation’s capital.

Joe Biden Tells Senate to Take a Hike, Won’t Participate in Trial Despite Ukraine Ties

By Biden’s own nonchalant logic, he’d make the perfect witness…so why won’t he appear?

Published

on

Former Vice President Joe Biden is blitzing the midwest this week, with only a few precious days left until the Iowa caucuses push the nation forward on the path to 2020.

Biden is traveling a somewhat lonesome trail this week, as top tier challengers Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are sequestered away in the Senate, where the impeachment trial of Donald Trump has begun.

The former VP and his family are intimately involved in that mess as well, with son Hunter’s business dealings in Ukraine at the center of the allegedly inappropriate requests made of the European nation’s president by Donald Trump.  This has led many Republicans to wonder aloud if Joe and/or Hunter should be testifying in the trial, as a discovery of corruption among them would help to justify the Commander in Chief’s concerns.

“Sleepy” Joe has now roundly rejected that idea.

A voter asked Biden at the event in Iowa if the former vice president had considered agreeing to testify in exchange for procuring testimony from acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney, former national security adviser John Bolton and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

“Have you ever thought of just calling (the Republicans’) bluff, and maybe even you and your son (testify)? And that might just take the gas right out of them,” Steve Delgado, a voter who said he had driven to Iowa from Arizona, asked Biden.

Biden responded, “I don’t think they’ve got much gas in the tank to begin with.”

The former Vice President’s logic here has some obvious flaws, however.

If the Republicans haven’t got “much gas in the tank”, then Biden would be risking nothing by appearing before the Senate.  In fact, his testimony would then, by his own logic, boost the Democratic argument.

Furthermore, given that he has expressed such nonchalance about the situation, then wouldn’t he make the perfect sacrificial lamb in the quest to bring in White House insiders like Mick Mulvaney and John Bolton?

Ocasio-Cortez: “No One Ever Makes a Billion Dollars” — Billionaires Steal It

Published

on

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: ‘No one ever makes a billion dollars. You take a billion dollars.’

“No one ever makes a billion dollars. You take a billion dollars. I’m not here to villainize and to say billionaires are inherently morally corrupt. … It’s to say that this system that we live in, life in capitalism always ends in billionaires.”

‘You sat on a couch while thousands of people were paid modern-day slave wages’

Fox News:

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., said that “no one ever makes a billion dollars. You take a billion dollars” during a Martin Luther King Jr. Day discussion with author Ta-Nehisi Coates on Monday.

“No one ever makes a billion dollars. You take a billion dollars,” Ocasio-Cortez said, receiving applause. “I’m not here to villainize and to say billionaires are inherently morally corrupt. … It’s to say that this system that we live in, life in capitalism always ends in billionaires.”

Ocasio-Cortez said billionaires make their money “off the backs” of “undocumented people,” “black and brown people being paid under a living wage” and “single mothers.”

She addressed a hypothetical “widget” billionaire in her remarks.

“You didn’t make those widgets, did you? Because you employed thousands of people and paid them less than a living wage to make those widgets for you,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “You didn’t make those widgets. You sat on a couch while thousands of people were paid modern-day slave wages, and in some cases real modern-day slavery.” More

AOC joined in on presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s criticism of JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon in November by saying he’s a billionaire “asking for a safe space” amid Democrats’ desire for economic disruption.

Someone should point out to AOC that socialism just shifts those billions from the hands of the people who did something to create that wealth to politicians like herself.

History has repeatedly shown that when politicians are put in charge of dispersing money the only people that benefit are the politicians themselves. When will people learn that socialism never works?

Trump Weighs in on Impeachment Witness Fight with Surprising Stance

Trump certainly isn’t making Mitch McConnell’s job any easier here.

Published

on

Day two of the Senate impeachment trial has begun, and, as of yet, there have been few surprises.

For much of the nation, the end to this national nightmare has long been known:  The GOP-controlled Senate will vote to acquit the President thanks to the unending work of Mitch McConnell and the Trump loyalists within this higher chamber of Congress.

Still, the Democrats continue to push for new documents and new witnesses in the case – something that McConnell has roundly rejected on the basis that the House of Representatives was tasked with the “fact finding” portion of the process, with the Senate left to simply adjudicate based on those findings.

The President, for what it’s worth, has previously suggested that he prefers the idea of a “show trial” that wouldn’t exonerate him based solely on process, but on exculpatory testimony by new witnesses.   He reiterated this belief this week.

The U.S. Senate plunged into President Donald Trump’s impeachment trial with Republicans abruptly abandoning plans to cram opening arguments into two days but solidly rejecting for now Democratic demands for more witnesses to expose what they deem Trump’s “trifecta” of offenses.

Trump himself said Wednesday he wants top aides to testify, but qualified that by suggesting there were “national security” concerns to allowing their testimony.

“We have a great case,” Trump said at a global economic forum in Davos, Switzerland. In a press conference before returning to Washington, Trump said his legal team was doing a “very good job.”

This certainly isn’t the consensus, however.

He appeared to break with Republicans efforts to block Democratic motions to immediately call witnesses and subpoena documents. Instead, Trump said he’d like to see aides, including former national security adviser John Bolton, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney, testify as witnesses.

Democrats have considered some of these same witnesses named by the President to be of the utmost significance in the UkraineGate matter, and will likely seize on Trump’s affirmation to make their case before the Senate.
