Pelosi’s Dems Transmit Fraudulent ‘Articles’ to Senate for Part Two of Impeachment

The Democrat infested House of Representatives have finally transmitted its fraud-filled “articles of impeachment” to the U.S. Senate.

Published

The Democrat infested House of Representatives have finally transmitted its fraud-filled “articles of impeachment” to the U.S. Senate so that the upper chamber can fulfill their part of the impeachment process.

After a month of dithering, Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has finally finished her part of the job.

Per Fox News:

The resolution, which passed 228-193 largely along party lines, came nearly a month after lawmakers voted to impeach the president on two counts.

Trending: Mediaite Claims Trump Told ‘Dangerous Lie’ About Northam's Infanticide Comment, But Here’s Video Proof

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., officially signed the articles Wednesday afternoon during an “engrossment ceremony.” Clerk of the House Cheryl Johnson and House Sergeant at Arms Paul Irving walked a note over to the Senate notifying the upper chamber of Congress that Pelosi had signed the articles of impeachment and appointed managers to the trial.

No Republicans voted for the resolution to transmit the articles, and one Democrat, Rep. Collin Peterson, D-Minn., was the only Democrat to vote against.

But waiting a month the transmit these fake articles is proof that the whole thing has been a political game from the start, not a matter of law or danger to the nation.

After all, every single Democrat who spoke in favor of impeachment called the act “urgent.” It was “urgent” to impeach President Trump, they said.

And yet… it was so “urgent” that they waited for a month to get the articles to the Senate so that the Senate could do their part?

Clearly it was not really urgent at all if they could dither for a month while Pelosi played political games with the articles.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., slammed the Democrats, saying, “This is not a moment this body should be proud of. As Pelosi says, impeachment is a national civics lesson. Let’s use this blunder as a teachable moment.”

“We wouldn’t abuse our power just for the sheer sake of politics to say you’re impeached forever because I dislike you,” McCarthy added.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell also slammed the Democrats.

“It looks like today’s the day. House Democrats may finally stand behind the rushed, unfair, and nakedly partisan impeachment that they themselves delayed for four weeks. The ‘prosecutors’ have finally overcome their cold feet.,” he tweeted.

Traitor Mitt Romney Again Signals He’s with the Democrats on Impeachment

GOP traitor, Sen. Mitt Romney, signaled that he is leaning toward voting with Democrats on the question of hearing from more fake “witnesses.”

Published

on

GOP traitor, Utah Sen. Mitt Romney, has signaled that he is leaning toward voting with the Democrats over the question of hearing from more fake “witnesses” during the Senate’s impeachment proceedings.

The carpetbagging “Utah” Senator — who is really from left-wing Massachusetts, but only bought his Senate seat in Utah — recently said that he will likely turn against  his Republican colleagues and the president and vote in favor of allowing more fake Democrat “witnesses” in the impeachment trial continuing this coming week.

The traitor made his position known in a Saturday interview:

“I think it’s very likely I’ll be in favor of witnesses, but I haven’t made a decision finally yet, and I won’t until the testimony is completed,” Romney said.

Romney is one of the main Republicans that the anti-American Democrats hope to peel away from the right side of history. And, traitor that he is, they will likely succeed.

The carpetbagging Sen., though, must sense that he is beginning to lose support back home. Last week the former liberal Massachusetts Gov. tried to backtrack a few steps from his outright support for Democrats in their quest to topple a Republican president and take away the choice of millions of American voters.

After his repeated anti-Trump statements, Utah “Republican” Senator Mitt Romney tried to back away from his outright support for impeachment on Tuesday.

Democrats were likely expecting Romney to come out swinging against Trump as the U.S. Senate begins its part of the impeachment drama this week. Instead, Romney took a few steps backward from his previous anti-Trump support for impeachment.

Romney’s reaction to Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s outline for the Senate’s proceedings struck a slightly different tone than his previous comments.

As Daily Wire reported:

While Democrats are taking to various media platforms to express outrage over the Republicans’ plans for handling the trial, accusing McConnell of attempting to “cover up” the president’s alleged misconduct by fast-tracking the proceedings, Romney pointed out in a statement issued ahead of the debate Tuesday that the rules set forth by his colleagues “align closely” with those established for the impeachment trial of then-President Bill Clinton, rules which were unanimously approved by the Senate.

Meanwhile, Romney’s Democrat pals railed over McConnell’s plans. Sen. Schumer, for instance, absurdly exclaimed: “We are staring down an erosion of the sacred democratic principles for which our founders fought a bloody war of independence.”

Romney, though, did not exactly support the Democrat line. Though agreeing with the left that the allegations against Trump are “extremely serious,” Romney added that he thinks the Senate should “put political biases aside” and hear the case in “good faith.”

“The allegations outlined in the articles of impeachment passed by the House are extremely serious — did the President abuse his office for personal political gain, and did he obstruct Congress’ investigation by blocking subpoenas?” Romney said in the statement. “These allegations demand that the Senate put political biases aside, and make good faith efforts to listen to arguments from both sides and thoroughly review facts and evidence. I have made clear to my colleagues and the public that the Senate should have the opportunity to decide on witnesses following the opening arguments, as occurred in the Clinton trial. The organizing resolution released tonight includes this step, and overall, it aligns closely with the rules package approved 100-0 during the Clinton trial. If attempts are made to vote on witnesses prior to opening arguments, I would oppose those efforts.”

Romney later pushed out a press release slamming Democrats:

As we approach the impeachment trial of the President, I feel a deep sense of responsibility to the Constitution, to the people of Utah and to the nation. I want to share my thoughts directly with Utahns — the people I was elected to serve in the Senate — about how I plan to approach this process.

Last week, I and all senators swore an oath to ‘do impartial justice according to the Constitution and laws: so help me God’ in determining whether the president has committed impeachable offenses that merit his removal from office. Deciding whether or not a sitting president should be removed from office is perhaps the most solemn matter that can ever come before the United States Senate. I enter this task with an open mind and a recognition of my solemn responsibility to fulfill my oath.

The allegations outlined in the articles of impeachment passed by the House are extremely serious — did the President abuse his office for personal political gain, and did he obstruct Congress’ investigation by blocking subpoenas? These allegations demand that the Senate put political biases aside, and make good faith efforts to listen to arguments from both sides and thoroughly review facts and evidence. If attempts are made to vote on witnesses prior to opening arguments, I would oppose those efforts.

I will conclude by noting that this is not a situation anyone would wish upon our country. It is difficult, divisive, and further inflames partisan entrenchment. There is inevitable political pressure from all sides. I have spent — and will continue to spend — many hours in careful deliberation about what this process and its potential outcomes could mean for our country. The best we in the Senate can do is strive to meet the obligations outlined by our founding fathers — to honor our constitutional duty and fulfill our oath to do impartial justice. That is the commitment I make solemnly and in good faith to the people of Utah and our nation.

So, why has Romney suddenly started pulling back a bit from his extreme hate for Trump?

His poll numbers are tanking, of course.

According to KSL.com:

There was an 8% drop in his approval rating among Republicans in the most recent Mitt Romney polls. It went from 65% in the third quarter to 57% in the last quarter.

But support among Democrats went up from 42 to 46% over the same time for the Utah Republican.

And so… suddenly Romney is looking a bit more like a Republican to regain support.

Democrat Impeachment Manager Admits Impeachment Is All About The 2020 Election

Democrat impeachment manager Rep. Zoe Lofgren seemed to admit today that Democrats’ partisan articles of impeachment against President Trump were about the upcoming 2020 presidential election.

“Well, in that — I guess, in that sense, we did, because, if we had waited for three or four years, the election would be over,” Lofgren said. “The issue would be almost moot.”

Here’s the video:

TDW:

Democrat impeachment manager Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) appeared to admit on Sunday that Democrats’ partisan articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump were about the upcoming 2020 presidential election.

“Congresswoman, you told senators this week ‘Don’t surrender to the president’s stonewalling,’” CNN’s Jake Tapper said to Lofgren. “But what do you say to those who say, that’s what exactly what the House Democrats did by not going to court to try to force subpoenas and force witnesses?”

“We did go to court, as you know,” Lofgren responded.

“But you didn’t pursue it in court,” Tapper responded. “You ultimately withdrew the cases and went to the Senate.”

“We realized we had the evidence we were going to get and that it was sufficient to prove our case,” Lofgren responded. More

Yeah, we know it’s about the Democrats admitting that they are interfering in the 2020 election. Nadler said it. Schiff said it. AOC said it. Jeffries said it. Why not Lofgren, too? I really, really wish the defense team would actively destroy the case and the careers of the Democrats who played this stupid game.

Joni Ernst: Within Two Hours The White House Counsel Shredded Democrats’ Case

Published

on

The vice-chairman of the Senate Republican conference Sen. Joni Ernst said after the Senate impeachment trial on Saturday that President Trump’s legal team had “shredded” the Democrats’ case for impeachment in less than two hours.

“I thought today was an incredible two hours, and within two hours, I thought that the White House counsel and their team entirely shredded the case that has been presented by the House managers,” the Iowa conservative said. “What we heard today was very concise; it was full of truths and facts, as presented by the House managers’ own witnesses. It was not filled with half-truths and personal stories.”

Breitbart:

Sen. Ernst also said after Saturday’s impeachment proceedings that she is leaning against voting for allowing additional witnesses to testify. Democrats have pushed to subpoena former National Security Advis0r John Bolton and other witnesses to testify after both sides conclude their opening arguments.

The Iowa senator said that the establishment media and the House Democrat impeachment managers had pushed a lot of “half-truths.” In contrast, Trump’s legal team presented factual evidence.

“What we saw today was factual, relevant to what is going on in the Senate, and it points out that there have been a lot of half-truths promulgated by the House managers and absolutely pushed by the media as well,” Sen. Ernst said. More

Three days of junior high drama got destroyed by adults in only 2 hours.

Facts, not hearsay and conjecture. Brilliant opening statement.

Sekulow Accuses Schiff Of Taking Hamilton Quote Out Of Context

Published

on

Jay Sekulow, President Trump’s personal attorney, attacked Democrats for repeating what he said was an out-of-context quote from Alexander Hamilton.

“Both Sen. [Chuck] Schumer and yesterday, as well, Congressman [Adam] Schiff, used this famous quote from Alexander Hamilton about impeachment,” Sekulow said. “It wasn’t about impeachment. It was a letter regarding policy disputes between Hamilton and Washington five years after the Constitution was adopted. So they’re not only taking the wrong law, they’re taking the wrong quotes from the founding fathers.”

Fox News:

One of the lawyers on President Trump’s impeachment trial defense team, Jay Sekulow, charged that Democratic members of Congress were taking a quote from Alexander Hamilton out of context as they tried to lay out the standard for removing a president from office.

Speaking to reporters after the second day of Democrats’ opening arguments, Sekulow said Thursday that the Hamilton quote, which comes from a letter he sent to George Washington as Treasury secretary in 1792, primarily discussing the national debt, was “completely out of place.” More

The American legal system has always considered a citizen Innocent until proven guilty… But now the Democrats want to completely throw out due process.

Adam Schiff wants to impeach Trump based on his opinion of the president. Several Democrats have now revealed that the reason they want impeachment is that they don’t want Trump to win the 2020 election. That is the true election tampering going on and they need to be held accountable, but I’m not holding my breath.

Dem. Adam Schiff’s 7 Biggest Lies During Impeachment Proceedings

Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff was full of lies during Senate impeachment proceedings, and Rep. Jim Jordan noted Schiff’s seven worst lies.

Published

on

Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff was full of lies during his appalling segment of the Senate impeachment proceedings, and Rep. Jim Jordan pinpointed Schiff’s seven worst lies.

Jordan pointed out just how full of it Schiff is with his false testimony before the Senate.

Rep. Jordan tweeted a video of his comments to reporters following Impeachment Manager Schiff’s two hours of wild-eyed allegations against President Donald Trump.

Here are Schiff’s essential lies about the president:

1. “More than circumstantial evidence” of collusion
2. Nunes memo was false
3. FISA process was fine
4. The “Whistleblower” would testify
5. “We haven’t spoken… with the ‘Whistleblower'”
6. Parodied @POTUS’ call
7. “Mr. Z” referred to Zelensky

“But today we’re supposed to trust him?” Jordan added.

In his video, Jordan detailed how each of Schiff’s claims are “exactly wrong” – and Jordan then asked reporters how “We’re supposed to believe Adam Schiff today – everything he’s saying?”

“[Schiff] just talked for two hours and 15 minutes, and we’re supposed to believe everything he’s said today. In spite of that history – where seven important things he had exactly wrong,” Jordan told reporters.

“So, yeah,” Jordan continued, “when he talks about (Ambassador) Sondland, he doesn’t tell you that was all presumption. Mr. Sondland said that, when Congressman Turner asked him, under oath, at the hearing.”

“So, that’s the kind of game that they’re playing here, and, again, I think that the American people see through it all,” the Republican from Ohio concluded.

Adam Schiff is a flat out liar. About. Every. Thing.

Impeachment Drama a TV Ratings Bust

Not only has the second day of impeachment coverage lost a ton of viewers, but many networks aren’t even bothering to air it.

Published

on

Well, impeachment sure isn’t doing the broadcast networks any good. Not only has the second day of coverage lost a ton of viewers, but many networks aren’t even bothering to air it at all.

According to the ratings services, 11 million viewers turned in on Thursday to watch the coverage as Democrats continued to lie their asses off at every turn. But that was off 2.8 million from Wednesday.

As to the Daily Mail reported:

The Nielsen ratings data showed the number of viewers who engaged with the trial fell short of the roughly 13.8 million viewers who tuned in last November for the first day of the House of Representatives impeachment inquiry.

Tuesday’s figures covered 4.5 hours of daytime coverage across six networks that aired live, including Walt Disney Co’s ABC, ViacomCBS Inc’s CBS, Comcast Corp’s NBC and MSNBC, AT&T Inc’s CNN and Fox Corp’s Fox News.

The NFL usually gets about 15 million viewers per game, as an example, and football has fallen in numbers, too. so, this is a big blow to the Democrats.

The Democrats had been hoping to galvanize the country to rise up to support impeachment or at least vote Trump out in 2020.
But it seems clear that the TV networks — as left-wing as they are — aren’t even that into the impeachment gambit.

Most of them haven’t even been showing it.

As the Associated Press reported:

The first night of arguments in favor of President Donald Trump’s impeachment before the U.S. Senate was judged not ready for prime time by many of the nation’s television executives.

ABC, CBS and NBC all stuck with regularly scheduled programs like “Chicago Med,” “Criminal Minds” and “Modern Family” Wednesday evening instead of showing the House managers’ evening session at the impeachment trial. That lasted about two hours, 15 minutes.

CNN and MSNBC carried the trial in full. Fox News Channel, after showing Rep. Adam Schiff speak for about a half hour, interrupted for a story about a child support case involving former Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter, and never returned.

Even two PBS stations in the New York area showed science programming and “Antiques Roadshow” instead of the trial Wednesday evening. PBS said it gave its local stations the option to show the trial or not.

Yep. Even the liberal TV networks knew better than to bet their ratings on this fiasco.

Impeachment seems to be a big loser for the Democrats.

Angry Dad Confronts Warren On Student Loan Forgiveness: ‘Can I Have My Money Back?’

Published

A dad who paid for his daughter’s education confronted Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren over student loan forgiveness: ‘Can I have my money back?’

“So you’re gonna pay for people who didn’t save any money, but those of us who did the right thing get screwed?”

Daily Caller:

The father of a college student was seen confronting Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren about her plan to cancel student loan debt in a video that went viral earlier this week.

The dad chastised Warren over her plan, and got especially heated after the senator and 2020 presidential candidate told him he could not get the money back that he saved to pay for his daughter’s school. (RELATED: Colleges And Universities Are Creating A Lost Generation Of Americans)

“My daughter is in school. I saved all my money. Am I gonna get my money back?” the dad asked.
