On Abortion vs. Life: President Trump Keeps His Promises

On Tuesday night he was at it again. This time rallying the pro-life forces to keep up the hard work of defending life, and encouraging the attendees of the Susan B. Anthony List 11th Annual Campaign for Life Gala to not grow weary in their well-doing.

Many criticisms can (and have) been made of the President over the course of his first year and 1/2 in office. I don’t mean spurious attacks from the left, I mean complaints from well-meaning conservatives… but the one thing all conservatives should agree upon is that President Trump has been the most actively pro-life President in the history of our nation.

Those are big words, but they are accurate ones as well.

Almost immediately upon entering office the President reinstated the Mexico City policy, which bans the use of federal tax dollars to be used on overseas abortions. The President also defunded the United Nations Population Fund, and overturned an Obama era rule that forced states to provide funding for Planned Parenthood. He has fought at every turn to “de-fund” Planned Parenthood, but the congressional GOP keeps allowing that funding back into their budget bills. To get around the GOP intransigence, the President is preparing to use his executive authority to cut a massive portion of the federal monies that Planned Parenthood receives.

The Trump administration is announcing new regulations today to partially defund Planned Parenthood and other abortion businesses of tens of millions of tax dollars. This is the second time Trump has taken steps to revoke taxpayer funding for the nation’s biggest abortion business — after yanking taxpayer from from International Planned Parenthood during his first week in office.

Trending: Consumers Panic Over Coronavirus, Emptying Store Shelves

The United States spends about $260 million in Title X funds annually for family planning for low-income individuals, and Planned Parenthood is a huge recipient of those funds, as much as $50-$60 million annually.

But under the proposed “Protect Life Rule,” Planned Parenthood and other abortion businesses would not receive any of those tax dollars unless they completely separate their abortion business from their taxpayer-funded services, The Washington Examiner reports. That would mean housing their family planning services elsewhere — potentially in separate buildings and coordinated by separate staff and organizations from its abortion enterprise.

“This proposal does not necessarily defund Planned Parenthood, as long as they’re willing to disentangle taxpayer funds from abortion as a method of family planning, which is required by the Title X law,” a Trump administration official said. “Any grantees that perform, support, or refer for abortion have a choice – disentangle themselves from abortion or fund their activities with privately raised funds.”

Of course, Planned Parenthood is unwilling to do so.

At every opportunity, President Trump has pushed for pro-life reform and he should be lauded for doing so.

Other politicians talk about being pro-life, but President Trump has proven his mettle by actively engaging in the fight to save lives.

On Tuesday night he was at it again. This time rallying the pro-life forces to keep up the hard work of defending life, and encouraging the attendees of the Susan B. Anthony List 11th Annual Campaign for Life Gala to not grow weary in their well-doing.

Here’s a transcript of his comments from the White House:

THE PRESIDENT:  Thank you.  Wow.  Thank you very much.  Thank you, Marjorie.  Thank you, Marjorie, for that wonderful introduction.  All my friends are out here.  (Applause.)  Thank you very much.  Thank you.  (Applause.)  Thank you very much.  Thank you.  Please.  (Applause.)  Thank you.  Thank you.  (Applause.)  Thank you.  Thank you very much.  Thank you.

Thank you very much.  I appreciate it.  So nice. And I’m thrilled to be here tonight at the very first — and as the very first President to address this incredible group of people.  I have a lot of friends in the audience.  They are incredible people.  (Applause.)

And I’d also like to thank the Susan B. Anthony List Chairwoman, Jane Abraham, and her husband, the Honorable Spence Abraham, for hosting this beautiful gala.  (Applause.)  Thank you both.  Thank you very much.  Thank you very much.  Beautiful job.

And we’re also very glad to be joined by many wonderful members of Congress, including the legend from Louisiana, a very brave guy, Steve Scalise.  Where is Steve?  Where is Steve?  (Applause.)  Hi, Steve.

So I was going to ask all members of Congress to stand, but there’s a short list.  Should I just — we have to do this, right?  (Laughter.)  They’re fighting for you all the time, right?  Don’t you think?  (Applause.)  All right.

You have Steve.  Steve, stand.  You have no problems standing.  This guy is in better shape than all of us.  (Applause.)

Kevin Brady.  Where is Kevin?  What a man he is.  (Applause.)  How are you?  Thank you.  Thank you, Kevin.

Steve Daines.  Steve Daines.  Hi, Steve.  (Applause.)  Thank you, Steve.  Great.

Where’s Roger Wicker?  Roger.  Roger.  (Applause.)  Right.  You know the problem with this, Roger?  We’re guaranteed to leave a few out, and they’ll never speak to me again, but that’s okay.  (Laughter.)  I’ll have you stand if I did that.

A man who has been so incredible on television to me, Andy Biggs.  Congressman Andy Biggs.  Where’s Andy?  (Applause.)  Thank you, Andy.  Now I don’t have to call you and thank you.  (Laughs.)  Thank you, Andy.

Marsha Blackburn.  Marsha, good luck.  (Applause.)  Will hopefully be our next senator from the great, great, great state of Tennessee.  (Applause.)  Good.  And I just saw some great numbers on you, by the way.

Where’s Steve Chabot?  Where is Steve?  Steve.  (Applause.)  Steve.  Steve.  How are you, Steve?  Good help.

Kevin Cramer, who is leading.  He’s leading in his Senate rate.  Kevin.  Where is Kevin?  (Applause.)  Kevin, you’re leading.

You know, we have a lot of people that are leading these races.  And a number just came down from Reuters.  You know, we were, a few months ago, 16 down in the generic poll — whatever that’s supposed to mean because nobody really knows what it means.  But all I know is we were 16 down.  Reuters just came out two hours ago, and we’re one up.  That’s big difference.  (Applause.)

And they say that, to win, we have to be, like — if we’re six down, we’re in okay shape.  But we’re one up.  That’s pretty good.  So that’s for the senators and for the congressmen and women.  So that’s it.  But you’re doing fantastic, Kevin.

Sean Duffy.  Where is Sean?  Where is Sean?  (Applause.)  Thank you, Sean.  Great job.

Ron Estes.  Ron.  Thank you, Ron.  (Applause.)

Jeff Fortenberry.  Jeff.  Thank you, Jeff.  Good job.  (Applause.)

A friend of mine for a long time, Virginia Foxx.  Virginia.  (Applause.)  Thanks, Virginia.

Representative and Mrs. Greg.  Okay, where’s Susan?  Susan Gianforte.  Where is he?  Boy, he is a good — he is a good campaigner.  Great job.  (Applause.)  Great job.  Thank you, Susan.

Representative and Mrs. Andy — you know, they wrote this out.  They said, “and Mrs. Andy and Nicole.”  So we’re just going to say it: Andy and Nicole Harris.  Stand up, please.  Thank you.  Great.  Thank you.  (Applause.)

A man who is — I hope he’s here because he’s so busy.  But a man who is a true champion.  NCAA Champion for numerous years.  Like, I’m not sure he ever lost a match.  Somebody said he’s like 141 and 1, but that’s not bad.  Jim Jordan.  Where is he?  (Applause.)  Jim Jordan.  Where is Jim?  He is — thanks, Jim.  Thanks.  Great champion.

Mike Kelly.  I watched him the other day.  He was debating Maxine Waters.  That was not a close debate.  (Applause.)  That was not a close debate, Mike.  They should all be so easy.  Right, Mike?

Congressman Steve King.  (Applause.)  Do you think Steve is conservative enough?  Where is Steve?  Hi, Steve.  Is Steve conservative enough, folks?  I don’t know.  You don’t get more conservative than Steve, right?  Thank you, Steve.

Congressman Joe Lesko and Debbie — Mrs. Lesko.  (Applause.)  Where are you?  Thank you, folks.  Thank you, Debbie.  Thank you.

Dan Lipinski.  (Applause.)  Thanks, Dan.

Keith Rothfus.  (Applause.)  Good person.  Thank you, Keith.  Great job.  Great job you’re doing.

Oh, this man.  Central casting.  I watch him all the time.  Don’t know him well, but I’ll get to know him.  John Rutherford.  Where is he?  John.  Central casting.  (Applause.)  Great job, John.  He’s always defending me.  Actually, most of you are always defending me, and that’s okay.  (Applause.)

And from my neck of the woods, Claudia Tenney.  Thank you, Claudia.  Thank you.

And for those many that I’ve left out, I’m sorry.  But I said, “Give me a totally complete list.”  And I will call you tomorrow, and I will apologize personally.  All right?  (Laughter.)

But every day, between now and November, we must work together to elect more lawmakers who share our values, cherish our heritage, and proudly stand for life.  (Applause.)  And that is a great group of people I introduced, I can tell you that.

We’re also glad to be joined by a beloved member of my administration, a true fighter for faith and family, and your 2018 Distinguished Leader, Kellyanne Conway.  Kellyanne.  (Applause.)  What a job.  What a job she’s done.  (Applause.)  She is some fighter.

She’ll do the shows that nobody else dares go near.  She’ll just — I’ll say, “Do this one or that one.”  “No problem, sir.”  Others say, “Sir, do you think I could take a pass, please?  I beg you, please.”  (Laughter.)  Great going, Kellyanne.  Thank you.  What a help.  What a help.  (Applause.)

Finally, to all of the friends, activists, and supporters of the life movement who are here this evening — so many, this was a record crowd — your hard work helped us to achieve this historic victory, our historic victory, one of the great victories of all time in politics.  That beautiful, beautiful evening.  November.  Remember that evening?  Could it have been more beautiful?  (Applause.) 2016.  Ah, that November 8th, 2016.

On the other side, you had some very unhappy campers, (inaudible).  (Laughter.)  They were not happy.  They were going to have a big, beautiful party.  Didn’t turn out to be such a good party.  (Laughter and applause.)

Now, for the first time since Roe v. Wade, America has a pro-life President, a pro-life Vice President, a pro-life House of Representatives, and 25 pro-life Republican state capitols.  That is pretty good.  (Applause.)  That is pretty good.  Wow.  That is pretty good.

When I ran for office, I pledged to stand for life.  And as President, that’s exactly what I’ve done.  And I have kept my promise, and I think everybody here understands that fully.  (Applause.)

One of my very first acts as President was to reinstate the Mexico City Policy, to prevent taxpayer dollars from funding abortion centers overseas.  (Applause.)  It’s a little reminiscent of Ronald Reagan.

A few months later, with Majorie in the Oval Office — she was sitting there with us, and she stood then and signed legislation to overturn the rule that forced states to fund abortion providers with taxpayer dollars.  (Applause.)  Majorie was there with me.

We’ve appointed a record number of judges who will defend our Constitution and interpret the law as written.  (Applause.)  And we’re putting onto the bench a record number of judges.  And in a short period of time, we were going to have and are going to have probably the all-time record for the appointment of judges.  And I’m very excited about that.  (Applause.)

My administration has also take bold action to protect religious liberty.  (Applause.)  And today, we are making another historic announcement.  For decades, American taxpayers have been wrongfully forced to subsidize the abortion industry through Title 10 federal funding.  So today, we have kept another promise.  My administration has proposed a new rule to prohibit Title 10 funding from going to any clinic that performs abortions.  (Applause.)  Thank you.  Thank you.  Thank you.  Thank you.

Thank you very much.  We’re also seeking passage of the 20-week abortion bill, which would end painful, late-term abortions nationwide.  (Applause.)  The House just passed the bill, but Democrats in the Senate are doing everything within their power to block it, although some are actually on our side.  But they are working overtime to block it.

So the story is, 18 midterms — we need Republicans, and that will happen.  On this issue, like so many other issues, the Democratic Party is far outside the American mainstream.  (Applause.)  Far outside.  The United States is one of only seven countries in the world to allow elective abortions after 20 weeks, when unborn babies can truly feel the pain.  Yet Democratic senators like Jon Tester, Heidi Heitcamp, Claire McCaskill, Debbie Stabenow all voted against the 20-week bill and in favor of late-term abortion.

THE PRESIDENT:  Got to get out and vote.  We are nine votes away from passing the 20-week abortion bill in the Senate, so we have to get them out there.  The Democratic senators are up for reelection in 10 states that I won by a lot.  And I think we’re doing very well.  We have some of those folks that are running right now, and they’re doing very, very well.  Going to have a big, big surprise in six months.  Big, beautiful surprise.  (Applause.)

If we work hard between now and November, every one of these states can be flipped to a senator who shares our values and votes our agenda.  Democrats like to campaign as moderates at election time, but when they go to Washington, they always vote for the radical Pelosi agenda down the line.  (Applause.)

Can you imagine having Nancy Pelosi as the Speaker of the House?

THE PRESIDENT:  No, can you imagine?  That’s why we’re putting in place a massive campaign for a midterm victory this November.  We will need to elect more members of Congress who will protect life, support our military, secure our borders, and grow our economy, and continue making America great again.  (Applause.)

While Democrats in Washington are resisting progress, my administration is delivering progress for hardworking Americans each and every day, and we’re doing some job.  Since the election, we have created more than 3.3 million new jobs.  (Applause.)

And if I would have said that prior to the election, those people back there — you know who that is, right?  That’s called “the fake news, fake news.”  They would have said, “What a ridiculous statement.  He’s saying he’s going to project 3.3 million new jobs?  How ridiculous is that?”  Well, guess what?  We did it.  (Applause.)  Fake news.

Something I’m very proud of: African American unemployment is at the lowest level in history.  (Applause.)  Hispanic unemployment is likewise at the lowest level in history.  (Applause.) Women unemployment is at the lowest level in 19 years.  (Applause.)  And something you haven’t heard for 21 years: Wages are rising at the fastest pace in more than time — they said 21.  I did hear 19.  I have to be very accurate with these folks.  (Laughter.)  Let’s put it this way: Wages are rising at a very fast level.  Very fast.  (Laughter and applause.)  Got to be very careful.  You know, when you say something, if it’s like a little off — if I was off by a week and a half, it’s a headline tomorrow.  (Laughter.)  “We got them now!”  (Laughter.)

Something very important — small business optimism — is the highest that it’s ever been, ever recorded.  (Applause.)  And our great House Ways and Means chairman, Kevin Brady, who joins us tonight, has done an incredible job.  Thank you, Kevin.  (Applause.)

With his leadership, Republicans passed the biggest tax cut and reform in American history.  And we doubled the child tax credit.  (Applause.)  And we’re going to be — with Kevin and the entire group, we’re going to be submitting additional tax cuts sometime prior to November.  It’s going to be something very special.  You see what it’s done for the country.  It’s going to be something very, very special.  (Applause.)

And, by the way, Nancy Pelosi and the group — you heard her the other day — she wants to raise your taxes.  They want to get rid of the tax cut bill and raise your taxes.  Somehow I don’t think that plays well, but you never know, right?  Wants to raise your taxes.

And my presidential budget was the first in history to include a proposal for nationwide paid family leave.  (Applause.)  Good, Steve.  Good.  We want to honor the invaluable time parents spend with their newborn children.

On foreign affairs — you’ve been reading a lot about foreign affairs — we’re getting very high marks on foreign affairs, actually.  We are, as a country, respected again — it’s been a long time — (applause) — because we’ve restored American strength and confidence.  Our military — and we just had it approved — $700 billion.  It’s historic funding for our great military.  (Applause.)  $700 billion.

And we have left the horrible one-sided, miserable Iran deal.  It’s gone.  (Applause.)  One of the worst deals ever negotiated.  We get nothing.  We get nothing.

We’ve moved our embassy to Jerusalem.  (Applause.)  Thank you.  And we are renegotiating trade deals to bring jobs and wealth back home to America where they and it belongs — (applause) — working hard on the trade deals.

But if Democrats gain power, they will try to reverse these incredible gains.  These are historic gains.  They will try and reverse many of them.  So your vote in 2018 is every bit as important as your vote in 2016 — although I’m not sure I really believe that, but you know.  (Laughter.)  I don’t know who the hell wrote that line.  I’m not sure.  (Laughter and applause.)  But it’s still important.  Remember that.

That’s why we will be campaigning for every last vote in every part of our great country.  We will be campaigning for the votes of all Americans, whether they’re registered as Democrats — and we got a lot of Democrats voting for us, as you know, in ’16.  A lot.  They couldn’t believe it.  They could not believe it.  (Applause.)  We got a lot of Barack Obama voters voting for us.  We got a lot of Bernie Sanders voting for us.  Can you believe it?  Mostly people that didn’t like getting ripped off on trade — Bernie Sanders voters.  He was right about that.  But he wasn’t able to do anything about it.

These are people that want a government that protects faith, family, and life.  (Applause.)  To support Republican candidates, I have helped raised a record-breaking $175 million for the Republican National Committee.  Nobody has ever been close.  (Applause.)

And as part of our unprecedented effort, our great Vice President, a true leader in the pro-life movement — Mike has been a true leader — has been working to elect more and more Republicans.  We will be appealing to voters all across America who previously sent a Democrat to Washington, only to discover they elected a proxy vote for Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi.  These are people that don’t believe in borders, don’t believe in fighting crime, don’t believe in making a strong military.  They don’t believe in what the people in this room believe — that I can tell you.  (Applause.)  So we have to do a great job.

If Democrats ever gained power, they would try to put up the taxes — so many things — open those borders.  They don’t want walls.  They don’t want people stopping.  And the other day — just the other day — Nancy Pelosi came out in favor of MS-13.  That’s the first time I’ve heard that.  She wants them to be treated with respect, as do other Democrats.  That’s not going to be happening.  We’re not going to release violent criminals into our country.

We’re going to shut down everything we have to shut down, and we’re going to open up the great American energy.  We are going to open up our energy.  And in all fairness, that’s already happened.  We are now a net exporter of energy for the first time.  (Applause.)

And we all know what a Democratic majority would mean, especially for the people in this room, on the Supreme Court.  These are the stakes on Election Day, and this is why you need to fight for victory in November.  We can’t be complacent.  What happens, historically, a tremendous percentage of the time: You win the presidential election, you become complacent, you’re happy.  “Oh, we won.  Isn’t it wonderful?”  Then you have — another election comes up, pretty quick — two years.  All of these congressmen can tell you.  You see the senators.  They like their term a little bit better.  (Laughter.)  How about changing some of them to two years, too?  I don’t think it’s going to be.  (Applause.)  That would be a tough vote in the Senate, wouldn’t it?

But all of a sudden, you come up again, and they get complacent.  They say, oh, we just won, so we sit back.  The other side has energy, and they win.  It’s a tremendous percentage of the time.  I honestly don’t believe that’s going to happen this time, and it’s starting to show up in the polls.  (Applause.)  Really don’t believe it.

Every values voter must be energized, mobilized, and engaged.  You have to get out there.  This organization bears the name of one of the greatest champions of freedom in American history: Susan B. Anthony.  (Applause.)  She fought for decades to end slavery, to secure women’s right to vote, and to respect the dignity of every single person.  A great person, a great woman, was she.  (Applause.)

Now we have a chance to honor her legacy and restore the first right in the Declaration of Independence.  It’s called the right to life.  (Applause.)  Here with us this evening are Lisa and Bruce Alexander, and their family, from Gaithersburg, Maryland.  Good place.  In January of 2012, the Alexanders attended the March for Life, and God put it in their hearts to adopt a beautiful child.  Two years later, in January of 2014, the Alexanders got a call that a baby had been born, who was opioid-dependent.  She desperately needed a loving home.  She was in serious, serious trouble.  And the Alexanders welcomed her into their home with wide-open arms.  (Applause.)

After the baby was treated for opioid withdrawal, they brought home their new and very beautiful daughter, Catherine.  Hi, Catherine.  Hi.  (Applause.)  Come on up here, Catherine.  Come on.  Catherine is four years old, and she is full of incredible energy, spirit, and talent.  At the age of two — come on up, Catherine — she memorized “America the Beautiful.”  She recites poetry.  And recently she announced to her dad that when she grows up she wants to be a famous police officer.  And then, when she gets tired of that, she wants to become President.  That’s okay with her.  (Applause.)  She’ll be President someday.

Every time Catherine’s older siblings come home from school, Catherine runs into their arms and gives them a great, big, beautiful hug.  They’re amazed by how much she loves them and how much they love her.

So tonight, we celebrate you, Catherine.  We celebrate your life.  Thank you, darling.  (Applause.)

And we celebrate all lives.  We celebrate the loving choice of adoption.  Catherine reminds us that every life is sacred and that every child is a precious gift from God.  So true.  (Applause.)

As the Lord says in Jeremiah, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you…Before you were born, I set you apart.”  When a mother and a father hold a new baby in their arms, they are changed forever.  When a child says “Mommy” or “Daddy” for the first time, there is nothing like it anywhere in the world.  No matter what you do, there is nothing like it.  And when parents watch their children thrive and grow, they’re filled with joy beyond words, and a love beyond measure.  You know that — everybody in this room.  (Applause.)

When we look into the eyes of a newborn child, there is no doubt we see the beauty of the human soul and the mystery of God’s great creation.  We know that every life has meaning and that every life is totally worth protecting.  (Applause.)  Thank you very much.

When we stand for life, we stand for the true source of America’s greatness.  It’s our people — our people are great.  It’s the people who grace our lives, who sustain our communities, and who make America a nation, a home, and this magnificent land that we all love so much.

As long as we have faith in our citizens, confidence in our values, and trust in our God, then we will never, ever fail.  (Applause.)  Our nation will thrive.  Our people will prosper.  And America will be greater than ever before.  And that’s what’s happening.  (Applause.)

So this November, vote for family.  Vote for love.  Vote for faith and values.  Vote for country.  And vote for life.  (Applause.)

I want to just end by thanking the Susan B. Anthony List.  You are very, very special people.  It’s a great honor for me to be here tonight.  Thank you to everyone.  Thank you to life and liberty.  God bless you, and God bless America.  Thank you very much.  Thank you.  (Applause.)

Farrakhan: “Mr. Trump Killed My Brother Soleimani, Mrs. Clinton Killed My Brother Qaddafi”

How strange why didn’t he mention Obama killing his brother Osama bin Laden?

Farrakhan: "Mr. Trump Killed My Brother Soleimani, Mrs. Clinton Killed My Brother Qaddafi"

Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan: “Mr. Trump killed my brother Qassem Soleimani. Mrs. Clinton killed my other brother Muammar Qaddafi. That’s why I couldn’t support Mrs. Clinton. And some of my little black friends [were] angry with me because I wasn’t going to vote for Mrs. Clinton.”

Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan gave a three-and-a-half-hour keynote speech at the Saviors’ Day conference in Detroit, Michigan on February 23, 2020. In his speech, he spoke about the killing of IRGC Qods Force commander Qassem Soleimani by U.S. forces.

“See Mr. Trump, I respect you because you’re the president of the United States of America. And you said that my brother is a terrorist. And you got the power to define people. Well, you may not like me, so you may call me a terrorist tomorrow to justify what the government is planning to do to me and the Nation of Islam. But I’m just inviting you, I’m inviting you to sit down and talk because I have a message for you from God. In fact, I’ll give it to you today. Let me tell you something brothers, the Quran asks a question – Do you wonder that a man born from among you has been selected by God, to be a messenger of His to the people, and a warner to the world and the nations? Yeah, that’s who I am. You may know me as Louis Farrakhan. I didn’t know what I was going to become as a student of Elijah Mohammed. But I’d like to tell you what my assignment is.

“See, Qassem, President Trump said, killed a lot of Americans – he’s a bad man, so I killed him, he’s bad – where was a man that he killed? Did he kill him in New York? Did he kill him in Philly? Did he kill him in Colorado, or California, or Florida? Where did he kill them!? He killed them in Iraq! What the hell were you doing in Iraq!?

“That man was no terrorist. He was killing members of an occupying army on the territory of Iraq. And he as the brother of them from Iran was trying to rid them of an occupying army. Now I’m naming you, and I got weight with God. An occupying army. What are you doing in the middle east? Soldiers everywhere, who sent for them? Protecting your little flunky nations? So now if I speak like I speak, and you know I’m telling the truth, this is not hyperbole, truthful hyperbole, this is the real actual fact. You went there, not to save the Iraqi people. You went there and spent [a] trillion dollars to make Iraq a bulwark against Iran.”

“When I Spoke To The Supreme Leader… I Told Him What The Mahdi Told Elijah – America Is Number One On His List, To Be Destroyed”

“So, when I spoke to the supreme leader, I said: ‘You’re looking for the Mahdi.’ This whole nation of 90 million people is born, and are willing to die, serving the Mahdi. I said: ‘You are looking for the Mahdi, but the Mahdi came to us. And I am here representing him.’ Did you hear what I said? I told him what the Mahdi told Elijah – America is number one on his list, to be destroyed.

“I have a message for the Jewish people. I’m not a hater. You can’t find one word in the millions of words that I’ve spoken that I’ve ordered somebody to hurt a Jewish person. No, that’s not me. But to tell the truth, I’m going to put a little truth on you today, and then I’m going to close it out – you’ve been such a beautiful attentive audience. Now, look at the scripture: ‘Babylon is fallen, is fallen…’ [Revelation 14:8]. Substitute America for Babylon. She [America] is unraveling. America is falling, is falling. Why are you falling America? Because you have become the habitation of devils. A hole, for every foul person. A cage for every hateful bird. Have you become a nation of devils?

“Mr. Trump, this nation has become a habitation of devils. Everybody rebelling against God.

“Oh Mr. Trump, you shall not commit murder. You took credit – ah yeah, I had the boys kill Qassem… Sent the drone after him – how many have you killed? How many are you planning to kill? See, murder is your modus operandi. See here I am now. You want me dead. And after today you might want to speed it up. I don’t know. But Mr. Trump, America has become a habitation of devils, and a hole for every unclean spirit in a cage, for every hateful bird. Hateful birds mean those that are in foreign countries. You’re in Wuhan province, I didn’t know you were there. Now you have a little something that you want to bring home to America. You’re everywhere.”

Coroner Slams ‘Misinformation:’ Obama DHS Whistleblower Death Not Ruled ‘Suicide’

An Obama-era whistleblower was found dead lying on the ground outside his car with a gunshot wound to his chest near Drytown, California.

The coroner stated: Unfortunately, there was misinformation immediately being put out that we have determined Mr. Haney’s death to be a suicide. This is not the case. We are currently in the beginning phase of our investigation and any final determination as to the cause and manner of Mr. Haney’s death would be extremely premature and inappropriate. No determination will be made until all evidence is examined and analyzed.

The coroner for the Amador County Sheriff’s Office in California on Monday criticized the spread of “misinformation” surrounding the death of Obama administration-era whistleblower Philip Haney, saying it is “extremely premature and inappropriate” to deem it a “suicide.”

Law enforcement reportedly discovered the body of the 66-year-old former U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official less than three miles from his home on February 21 in Amador Country, the coroner indicated in a statement to news outlets issued on Monday.

The coroner’s statement came after the Amador County Sheriff’s Office reportedly indicated Haney’s death appeared to be the result of “a single, self-inflicted gunshot wound” to the chest, prompting news outlets to report the former DHS official’s demise as a suicide.

Gunshot wounds to the chest, however, are inconsistent with suicides, data reportedly show. More

The statement makes it perfectly clear that there has been no determination of suicide yet, contrary to inaccurate readings of the initial statement released Saturday that described the scene as an apparent suicide but noted the investigation was active and ongoing.

Biden Invents a New Lie: Says He Was Arrested Protesting in South Africa

Former Vice President Joe Biden has added yet another lie to his storied fake news biography.

Former Vice President Joe Biden has added yet another lie to his storied fake news biography. Now he is claiming he was arrested while protesting against Apartheid in South Africa.

It is a lie, of course.

The story is brand new, too.

Per The New York Times:

Joe Biden has recounted a story — three times in two weeks — about being arrested on his way to see Nelson Mandela. He did not mention it in his memoir or speak prominently of it before.

So… Biden claims to have protesting ties to the famed Nelson Mandela, and it took him 30 years to start talking about it?

Come on.

Here is one of the tales he told:

“This day, 30 years ago, Nelson Mandela walked out of prison and entered into discussions about apartheid,” Mr. Biden said at a campaign event in South Carolina last week. “I had the great honor of meeting him. I had the great honor of being arrested with our U.N. ambassador on the streets of Soweto trying to get to see him on Robbens Island.”

He told the tale two more times during the week after.

Biden said this arrest occurred in 1977, when he was a Delaware Senator. But Biden did not mention this arrest in his memoir. Nor has ever mentioned it during many past addresses to black groups. Nor did he ever mention this arrest while campaigning with Barack Obama, the nation’s first black president. It sure seems odd that this brave tale of being arressted protesting against racism slipped his mind for 30 years, huh?

Indeed, several members of congress also said they never heard of any American politician being arrested in South Africa in 1977 or any other time. Neither former Senator Gary Hart, show served with Biden nor congressman Andrew Young ever heard of any American being arrested in South Africa.

The question is, why does the media let Biden get away with these lies?

Now Liberal California Politicians Want to Imprison People Who Don’t Vote

California liberals are now moving to jail anyone who decides not to vote on Election Day

Next up to continue filling ballot boxes with votes for California liberals is a move in Sacramento to jail anyone who decides not vote on Election Day.

One might think that the right not to vote is inherent in the right to vote any way we want. A lack of a vote, after all, IS a vote of sorts. It means you don’t want to be part of the system.

And, as Americans, wouldn’t you think we have the right not to vote, too?

Well, not as far as San Francisco Democrat Assemblyman Marc Levine is concerned.

Like all Democrats, Levine thinks Europe is better than the U.S.A., and so he based his new bill to punish Californians who do not vote on rules in countries like Belgium.

“Democracy is not a spectator sport — it requires the active participation of all its citizens,” the fascist Democrat said in a publicity statement for AB 2070.

“California is a national leader on expanding voting rights to its citizens. Those rights come with a responsibility by registered voters to cast their ballot and make sure that their voice is heard by their government. This is not a time to be complacent at the ballot box,” Levine added.

“Across the globe, 30 nations currently require mandatory ballot casting – the oldest, Belgium, began compulsory ballot casting in 1893,” Levine bloviated. “In the past decade, California has taken dramatic steps to lower barriers to voting and increase voter participation including the passage of the Voter’s Choice Act, expanding early voting opportunities and making all vote by mail ballot envelopes postage paid. AB 2070 builds upon these efforts to increase voter participation by making voting compulsory.”

Levine has not yet specified what penalties he would place on adults of voting age who do not vote, but almost all laws somehow include jail time as a worst-case punishment. Some, some jail time is likely to be included in the bill at some point if it reaches further debate.

The San Franciscoan’s bill is set to go before the legislature n the Spring session.

There is nothing at all American about a law that would force people to vote.

But, since when do Democrats care about freedom and liberty?

Court Says Giant Cross in Florida Can Stay After Atheist Attack

A court in Pensacola, Florida, has ruled that a78-year-old Christian cross can stay right where it is.

A court in Pensacola, Florida, has ruled that a 78-year-old Christian cross can stay right where it is despite the demands from radical atheists that it be torn down.

The historic World War II-era cross in Pensacola, Florida, will remain standing thanks to a victory at the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday, according to

In Kondrat’yev et al. v. City of Pensacola (Link to case), an atheist group sued the City of Pensacola to remove the monument, which has been standing since 1941.

Following the Supreme Court’s decision in American Legion v. American Humanist Association, protecting a World War I memorial cross in Bladensburg, Maryland, the Eleventh Circuit ruled that the cross is constitutional, acknowledging that it has become “embedded in the fabric of the Pensacola community” and that removing it could “strike many as aggressively hostile to religion.”

The Bayview Cross is one of over 170 displays in Pensacola parks memorializing the City’s diverse history and culture. In 2016, four individuals, represented by the American Humanist Association, sued the City, demanding the cross be torn down, even though three of the individuals do not live in Pensacola and the fourth has held his own ceremonies at the cross. The trial court and an earlier decision by the Eleventh Circuit reluctantly agreed that the cross was unconstitutional under the notorious Lemon test, which has often been successfully invoked by anti-religious plaintiffs to push religion out of the public square. Earlier this year, however, the Supreme Court ordered the Eleventh Circuit to rethink its ruling in light of the Supreme Court’s decision in American Legion, which finally scrapped the Lemon test in cases involving longstanding symbols.

“The Supreme Court has now made clear that religious symbols are an important part of our nation’s history and culture,” said Luke Goodrich, vice president and senior counsel at Becket.

The 78-year-old cross was built in the City’s Bayview Park in 1941, as the U.S. prepared to enter WWII, as a place for the community to unite. Since then, Pensacola citizens have held community events such as Easter sunrise services, Veteran’s Day and Memorial Day remembrances, and other voluntary gatherings at the monument, which has become a significant symbol for the Pensacola community.

“Pensacola is a historic city with a rich and diverse history. The Bayview Cross is an important part of that history as a symbol of our community’s coming together during a national crisis,” said Grover C. Robinson IV, mayor of Pensacola. “Today the citizens of Pensacola will celebrate our long-awaited victory and the preservation of the Bayview Cross.”

In the June 2019 Supreme Court ruling upholding the World War I memorial cross in Maryland, Justices cited Becket’s friend-of-the-court brief multiple times. Becket has also successfully defended a statue of Jesus in Montana commemorating fallen World War II soldiers, a historic cross artifact at Ground Zero, and a Pennsylvania county seal.

Becket  is a non-profit, public-interest law firm dedicated to protecting the free expression of all religious traditions and has a 100% win-rate before the United States Supreme Court.

Flashback: Bloomberg Bans Food Donations To The Homeless

Who needs charities when we can redistribute wealth?

In 2011 Michael Bloomberg banned individuals from giving food donations to the homeless.

When Glenn Richter tried to donate a bag of bagels to the poor in 2011, he was informed that the Bloomberg administration no longer allowed for food donations. CBS reported at the time, he stated that “over the years he’s delivered more than two tons of food to the homeless. Mr. Richter vented that “Bloomberg is eating away at his ability to do good.”

Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s food police have struck again!

Outlawed are food donations to homeless shelters because the city can’t assess their salt, fat and fiber content, reports CBS 2’s Marcia Kramer.

Glenn Richter arrived at a West Side synagogue on Monday to collect surplus bagels — fresh nutritious bagels — to donate to the poor. However, under a new edict from Bloomberg’s food police he can no longer donate the food to city homeless shelters.

It’s the “no bagels for you” edict.

“I can’t give you something that’s a supplement to the food you already have? Sorry that’s wrong,” Richter said.

Richter has been collecting food from places like the Ohav Zedek synagogue and bringing it to homeless shelters for more than 20 years, but recently his donation, including a “cholent” or carrot stew, was turned away because the Bloomberg administration wants to monitor the salt, fat and fiber eaten by the homeless.

Richter said he was stunned. He said his family has eaten the same food forever and flourished.

“My father lived to 97; my grandfather lived to 97, and they all enjoyed it and somehow we’re being told that this is no good and I think there is a degree of management that becomes micromanagement and when you cross that line simply what you’re doing is wrong,” Richter said. More

Um, so Mike Bloomberg wanted the government (ie the taxpayers) to supply the food to the homeless when there are people being innovative and providing fresh foods for them.

I don’t think a hungry person is worried about salt, fat or fiber content they just need a full belly. Leftist liberals would rather have people starve!

Trump Commutes Dem. Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s Sentence, Illinois Republicans Furious

Illinois Republicans were furious on Tuesday when President Donald Trump commuted the remaining sentence of Democrat Rod Blagojevich.

Illinois Republicans were furious on Tuesday when President Donald Trump commuted the remaining sentence of Democrat Rod Blagojevich who is serving a hefty prison term for corruption.

Trump has been making noise for years, saying that he feels that Blagojevich’s sentence was way too long and did not fit his crimes.

Blagojevich was convicted of 17 charges of public corruption in 2011 and was handed a hefty 14-year prison term for his crimes. One of the claims against the former Democrat governor is that he was looking to sell the U.S. Senate seat being vacated in 2008 when then Illinois Senator Barack Obama was preparing to abandon his senate seat to enter the White House.

Blagojevich was heard on a federal wiretap saying, “I’ve got this thing, and it’s fucking golden,” while trying to figure out how to profit off Obama’s open senate seat.

However, there was never any evidence that anyone actually gave the governor any money nor that he made any arrangements to take any. But he was heard on tape offering different positions to different people as he tried to shuffle seekers around to his best advantage.

Blagojevich was found guilty on all counts in 2012 and sent to prison where he was to have served until 2024.

Trump noted on Tuesday that he was finally ready to send Blagojevich home.

“Yes, we commuted the sentence of Rod Blagojevich,” Trump said. “He served eight years in jail, a long time. He seems like a very nice person — don’t know him.”

“He’ll be able to go back home with his family,” Trump added. “That was a tremendously powerful, ridiculous sentence in my opinion.”

But the Republican congressional delegation from Illinois — what few of them there are– were not happy at all with the president’s move.

As Newsweek noted:

The five-member delegation—Reps. John Shimkus, Darin LaHood, Mike Bost, Rodney Davis and Adam Kinzinger—shared a statement today saying that the commutation of Blagojevich’s prison sentence had “disappointed” them.

“We are disappointed by the President’s commutation of Rod Blagojevich’s federal sentence. We believe he received an appropriate and fair sentence, which was the low-end of the federal sentencing guidelines for the gravity of his public corruption convictions. Blagojevich is the face of public corruption in Illinois, and not once has he shown any remorse for his clear and documented record of egregious crimes that undermined the trust placed in him by voters,” the representatives wrote. “As our state continues to grapple with political corruption, we shouldn’t let those who breached the public trust off the hook.”

“History will not judge Rod Blagojevich well,” they added.

Trump, of course, has known Blagojevich since the Illinoisan was on Trump’s TV show, The Celebrity Apprentice, in 2010.

Trump has often said he thinks the sentence was too long. Her is a tweet from last August, for instance:

So, the move to commute the remainder of Blagojevich’s sentence does not come as a surprise.
