Officers Involved in George Floyd Death Had History of Poor and Violent Conduct

The disturbing allegations against these officers has led to further questions regarding their fitness for duty.

Any time that America finds herself in the midst of a cultural crisis such as the one that we found ourselves in today, there is a tendency among us to try to make overarching arguments about the inherent goodness of any certain sect of the population.

Today, we are seeing argument both over the merit of our law enforcement officers and the intent of those engaged in rebellion in Minneapolis.  The nation appears to be trapped in an argument over whether or not the “good cops” outnumber the “bad cops”, and another discussion about the effectiveness of civil unrest to promote change.

But there is a danger in making statements that speak so broadly in a nation of rugged individualism, particularly in the case of the police officers involved in the death of George Floyd, whose histories on the force paint an alarming portrait of their “service” to the community.

Derek Chauvin, the Minneapolis police officer caught on camera kneeling on the neck of George Floyd as he gasped for air, has been the subject of a 10 conduct complaints and three police shootings that led to no disciplinary action during his 19 years on the job.

Trending: Coroner Saying George Floyd Died of Drug Overdose, Not Police Brutality

Tou Thao, the second officer seen in the video, also has a checkered past that includes allegations of police brutality and a lawsuit.

Together, the men have more than a dozen complaints that have never resulted in any formal reprimands.

Chauvin’s history was particularly worrisome.

In 2006, he was one of five officers who responded to a stabbing at the home of Wayne Reyes, a man police claimed stabbed his friend, his girlfriend, and then threatened to kill them all with a shotgun. According to reports, police pursed Reyes, who got in his truck and fled. When he got out of the vehicle with the shotgun in his hand, officers fired several shots at Reyes, killing him.

According to NBC News, it was unclear which officer shot first. All five were put on paid leave while the incident was investigated.

Later that same year, officers were responding to a domestic call when Chauvin claimed the man reached for his gun. The man was shot and wounded, though not by Chauvin. Authorities later determined none of the officers had acted inappropriately.

Chauvin has also been the subject of three reviews from the Civilian Review Authority in which he was found to have used “demeaning tone, sustained,” “derogatory language, sustained,” and “language-other, sustained.”

Thao, for his part, had previously been sued for the alleged use of “excessive force” in the beating of an unarmed and handcuffed suspect.

George Floyd was prone and cuffed when Chauvin kneeled on his neck, suffocating him, despite repeated pleas by Floyd indicating that he could not breathe.

Lawsuit Demands All Epstein Flight Logs Be Made Public, Jeffrey Epstein’s Friends ‘Panicking’

Release ALL the names and let the chips fall where they may.

Logs for every flight made by Jeffrey Epstein’s aircraft over 21 years have been subpoenaed, “sparking panic” among his rich and famous pals, according to U.K.’s Mirror and Daily Mail.

The Attorney General for the US Virgin Islands, where Epstein had a home, has demanded logs for his four helicopters and three planes, from 1998 to his suicide last year.

TDW:

A new lawsuit, filed by the Attorney General of the U.S. Virgin Islands, Denise George, demands that flight logs from Jeffrey Epstein’s four helicopters and three planes be made public, sparking “panic” among the late socialite’s famous friends, according to reports from the U.K.’s Mirror and Daily Mail.

“The Attorney General for the US Virgin Islands, where Epstein had a home, has demanded logs for his four helicopters and three planes, from 1998 to his suicide last year,” the Mirror reported Monday. “Denise George has filed a lawsuit against Epstein’s estate, alleging 22 counts, including aggravated rape, child abuse and neglect, human trafficking, forced labour and prostitution.”

“As well as the passenger lists, Ms. George is seeking any ‘complaints or reports of potentially suspicious conduct’ and any personal notes the pilots made,” the outlet noted.

George is also seeking names of possible witnesses who may have interacted with Epstein, his guests, his pilots, or other members of his household staff during Epstein’s visits to the islands, as well as “observers” who may have interacted with Epstein’s passengers — both his famous friends and the women Epstein is accused of trafficking for sex. More

I can only imagine their fear of being outed by the passenger/guest logs. They can’t even hire lawyers to suppress this information because to do so would identify themselves as being on the list. More explanations and twisting in the wind to come.

Watch ‘Karen’ Freak Out Over CVS Store Manager Calling Police On Black Shoplifters

A woman filmed herself scolding a CVS manager for calling the police on two black shoplifters and the stunt failed spectacularly.

She claimed that the manager could have got the thieves killed by calling the police since they are black.

He explained the companies policies and that he needs to call the cops.

“And if the police apprehend them, we have to issue a barring notice,” he adds.

“But I actually did not elect to press charges, I just wanted to say hey look, I just want them to know they can’t come in here anymore because they shoplifted and I just need them to sign that. The officers obliged and the guys said the same thing, thank you, and they left.”

“So you know what happens (when the police are called on) black men?” The woman demanded in response.

“I don’t work for you,” he says. “I follow my company’s policies, not your policies, while I can appreciate your concern …”

“So you’re willing to risk someone’s life for what, $30,000 a year?” Sade continues.

When she demanded to know his name for her attempt at getting him doxxed, he refused and asserted that nobody there would tell her his name so that she can attempt to incite violence against him.

“Elicit violence against you? You just elicited violence against two black men by calling the police on them,” she replies.

BLM Activist Jumped On Police Car Now Claiming He Was "Run Over"

A BLM activist jumped atop a police car but was quickly thrown off when the driver sped away in Sacramento. Black Lives Matter activists now claim the idiot was run over by the police. In reality, the man actually “ran over” the police cruiser. The man was taken away by ambulance. No word on his injuries.

Another person wearing a “Trump sucks” T-shirt also fell down in the mayhem, The Sacramento Bee reported.

Watch the video:

Here’s a classic example of not taking responsibility for your own actions, everyone is looking to blame someone. That person chose to get up on a moving police car in a pursuit mode. Idiot!

California City Official Responded To LASD Deputies Being Shot By Posting: ‘Chickens Come Home To Roost’

California City Official Responded To LASD Deputies Being Shot By Posting: 'Chickens Come Home To Roost'

Lynwood city manager Jose Ometeotl posted “chickens come home to roost” on Instagram after the ambush shooting of two Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies in Compton Saturday evening.

Fox 11’s reporter Bill Melugin took a screenshot of Ometeotl’s provocative post on his public profile, which has since been made private. In his post, Ometeotl wrote that “the shooting of anyone is a wholly unacceptable occurrence in society” and that while he does not “condone the type of violence seen in the shooting of deputies yesterday in Compton,” he did lay some of the blame on the deputies.

“I will say that communities like Compton have been plagued by deputy gangs that inflict fear and violence in the community. These deputies murdered, framed and stole from the community just because they could.”

Since Jose Ometeotl posted from his public account he should resign or face termination. Yet this same person would probably be the first one begging for the police if his home were surrounded by protestors.

BLM protesters tried to storm the emergency room of a hospital where the two LA County Sheriff’s deputies were “fighting for their lives” after they were ambushed in their patrol car and shot in the head by a lone gunman at a Metro station in Compton Saturday night.

Mass Exodus: For First Time In A Decade, More People Left California Than Moved In

Mass Exodus: For First Time In A Decade, More People Left California Than Moved In

The California dream is fading away. More Americans are leaving California than ever before! Between 2007 and 2016, some 5 million residents moved into California and 6 million people moved out to other states — a net loss of about 1 million residents.

SF Chronicle:

SAN FRANCISCO – The cityscape resembles the surface of a distant planet, populated by a masked alien culture. The air, choked with blown ash, is difficult to breathe.

There is the Golden Gate Bridge, looming in the distance through a drift-smoke haze, and the Salesforce Tower, which against the blood-orange sky appears as a colossal spaceship in a doomsday film.
San Francisco, and much of California, has never been like this.

California has become a warming, burning, epidemic-challenged and expensive state, with many who live in sophisticated cities, idyllic oceanfront towns and windblown mountain communities thinking hard about the viability of a place many have called home forever. For the first time in a decade, more people left California last year for other states than arrived.

Monica Gupta Mehta and her husband, an entrepreneur, have been through tech busts and booms, earthquakes, wildfire seasons and power outages. But it was not until the skies darkened and cast an unsettling orange light on their Palo Alto home earlier this week that they ever considered moving their family of five somewhere else. More

Very entertaining article. I especially liked the way it pivoted to climate change so quickly and how it defended Gov. Gavin Newsom and his Liberal ideology. California’s problem is due to its own idiot policies. Overpopulation because it is a sanctuary for illegal aliens. Fires as a result of abysmal forest management. Drought because they can’t manage water and can’t steal more than their fair share any longer.

California has had enough:

Never Forget Todd Beamer On Flight 93: ‘Let’s Roll’

A powerful statement during his darkest hour.

Published

As we remember 9-11, it’s the story of Todd Beamer that is both heartbreaking and inspirational. Beamer was on Flight 93 and got through to a 911 operator and spoke to Lisa Jefferson. Todd was calm and spoke to Lisa about his family and after about a minute on the phone, Todd said those two words that are now synonymous to the name Todd Beamer: LET’S ROLL.
