New York City protesters disrupted President Donald Trump’s speech to honor American veterans on Monday.
The president joined the annual Veterans Day parade kickoff event in Madison Square Park, the first president in history to do so.
Trump said he and First Lady Melania Trump came “to express the everlasting love and loyalty of 327 million Americans” for veterans.
As President Trump began his speech, protesters gathered in the side-streets shouted: “Lock him up!”

I am not shocked that the New York City liberals are both rude and ungrateful of the sacrifices made by our veterans.
The left never misses an opportunity to take classlessness to a new low level, and to show its disdain for our military.
As the child of a veteran, I find what the left does very offensive and deeply disrespectful too.

Defense Secretary Mark Esper Fires Navy Secretary for Insubordination
On Sunday evening, Defense Secretary Mark Esper fired Navy Secretary Richard Spencer for insubordination over the case of a Navy SEAL being prosecuted.

On Sunday evening, Defense Secretary Mark Esper fired Navy Secretary Richard Spencer for insubordination over the case of a Navy SEAL being prosecuted by the Pentagon.
Spencer submitted his resignation on Sunday, according to the chief spokesman for the Pentagon, Jonathan Hoffman.
The firing comes on the heels of President Trump’s public expression of dissatisfaction over how the case against Navy Chief Petty Officer Edward Gallagher, who is being charged in the 2017 stabbing death of an ISIS captive.
Trump took to Twitter on Sunday to reveal his annoyance with the prosecution of the SEAL.
“I was not pleased with the way that Navy Seal Eddie Gallagher’s trial was handled by the Navy,” Trump tweeted on Sunday. “He was treated very badly but, despite this, was completely exonerated on all major charges. I then restored Eddie’s rank. Likewise, large cost overruns from past administration’s contracting procedures were not addressed to my satisfaction.”
“Therefore, Secretary of the Navy Richard Spencer’s services have been terminated by Secretary of Defense Mark Esper. I thank Richard for his service & commitment. Eddie will retire peacefully with all of the honors that he has earned, including his Trident Pin. Admiral and now Ambassador to Norway Ken Braithwaite will be nominated by me to be the new Secretary of the Navy. A man of great achievement and success, I know Ken will do an outstanding job!”

Gallagher was acquitted of murder, but the Pentagon continued going after him for “posing with a corpse” because he had a photo taken of himself with the dead terrorist.
The unrepentant Spencer shot off a fiery resignation letter reveling in his insubordination.
“Unfortunately, it has become apparent that in this respect, I no longer share the same understanding with the Commander in Chief who appointed me, in regards to the key principle of good order and discipline,” he wrote. “I cannot in good conscience obey an order that I believe violates the sacred oath I took in the presence of my family, my flag and my faith to support and defense the Constitution of the United States.”

“Last night the United States brought the world’s number one terrorist leader to justice. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is dead. He was the founder and leader of ISIS. The most ruthless and violent terror organization anywhere in the world.”
The terrorist leader set off his own suicide vest after being chased by American dogs.
“He reached the end of the tunnel as our dogs chased him down. He ignited his vest, killing himself and the three children. His body was mutilated by the blast,” the president said. “The tunnel had caved in on him in addition. But test results gave certain immediate and totally positive identification. It was him. The thug who tried so hard to intimidate others spent his last moments in utter fear, in total panic and dread, terrified of the American forces bearing down on him.”

Iran Wants War and Trump Knows It

The tensions in the Middle East are increasing very nearly to a point of no return as Iran ramps up the rhetoric, seemingly itching for a fight. When words didn’t get the reaction for which they were hoping, they attacked – by proxy – Saudi Arabian oil, clearly trying to goad their adversaries into military action. (more…)

Liberals Push Fake News that Trump Admin. Says Soldier’s Children Born Overseas Are Not U.S. Citizens
Of course, this is a lie. The administration did no such thing.

On Thursday, the left geared up its fake news machine to push the false claim that the Trump administration changed citizenship rules to say that children born overseas to U.S. soldiers are not U.S. citizens.
Newsweek, for one, published a story insisting that a hashtag reading “#TrumpHatesMilitaryFamilies” was trending because the administration “stripped automatic citizenship from children of overseas troops.”
Of course, this is a lie. The administration did no such thing. But Newsweek went on…
The Trump administration has come under fire over a new policy change that will see some children of U.S. citizens working for the government that have been stationed abroad, including U.S. military personnel, stripped of their automatic right to American citizenship.
Presently, children born to parents stationed abroad are still legally deemed to be “residing in the United States,” which allows the parents to acquire automatic citizenship for their children.
But under the new policy, as of October 29, certain parents serving overseas in the U.S. armed forces and with other branches of the federal government will be required to formally apply for U.S. citizenship on their children’s behalf before their kids turn 18.
The new policy was released on August 28 and reads in part, “that USCIS no longer considers children who are living abroad with a parent who is a U.S. government employee or U.S. service member as ‘residing in the United States’ for purposes of acquiring citizenship under INA 320.”
Another section reads: “Effective October 29, 2019, children residing abroad with their U.S. citizen parents who are U.S. government employees or members of the U.S. armed forces stationed abroad are not considered to be residing in the United States for acquisition of citizenship. Similarly, leave taken in the United States while stationed abroad is not considered residing in the United States even if the person is staying in property he or she owns.”
Liberals interpreted that to mean that children of U.S. soldiers and diplomats (and other U.S. citizens) are no longer Americans.
But acting USCIS Director Ken Cuccinelli explained that the new rule “does NOT impact birthright citizenship,” and added, “This policy update does not deny citizenship to the children of U.S. government employees or members of the military born abroad.”
“This policy aligns USCIS process with the Department of State’s procedure, that’s it,” Cuccinelli added.
Here's the statement I promised (1/3):
The policy manual update today does not affect who is born a U.S. citizen, period. It only affects children who were born outside the US and were not US citizens. This does NOT impact birthright citizenship.— USCIS Acting Director Ken Cuccinelli (@USCISCuccinelli) August 28, 2019
Here is who the new rules affect:
- Children who live with their U.S. parents abroad but who did not acquire citizenship at birth, including infants and children adopted overseas.
- Children born of non-U.S. citizens who are adopted by U.S. citizens.
- Those whose parents became U.S. citizens after the child’s birth.
- U.S. citizens who do not meet the residence or physical presence rules needed to transmit birthright citizenship, such as a person born overseas with birthright citizenship who never lived in the United States.
In other words, this new policy ends the idea that just any child of just any U.S. citizen is an automatic American.
And the new rule also does not automatically preclude citizenship, either. Some parents in these situations have until the child’s 18th birthday to register them for citizenship.
