New Jersey Democrats Unleashed Police to Arrest Citizens Who Break Coronavirus Quarantine

New Jersey Democrats have now unleashed the police to arrest citizens who dare to violate the governor’s ban on gatherings.

Say goodbye to freedom in New Jersey where Democrats have now unleashed the police to arrest citizens who dare to violate the governor’s ban on people gathering in groups.

On Friday, police raided the home of Lakewood, New Jersey, resident Eliyohu Zaks, 49, for daring to hold a wedding ceremony in his home with more than 50 people in attendance, Lakewood Patch reported.

Zaks was charged with “maintaining a public nuisance” by hosting the large gathering.

Lakewood Capt. Gregory Staffordsmith scolded the mostly Jewish community for refusing to observe the Democrat government’s orders against the gatherings.

“We want the public to know that we have heard and share their concerns regarding gatherings of more than 50 people and have taken action against those who have failed to comply,” Staffordsmith said.

Gov. Murphy also went on the attack against the scofflaws.

“We are really damned unhappy and we’re going to take action,” the Democrat gov. said. “We don’t win a war by putting your feet up. You win it because everybody rows the boat together.”

Murphy sent his stormtroopers into the community earlier last week, too.

According to Patch, Lakewood police raided two other gatherings, as well.

“The Lakewood Police Department takes the precautions set by Governor Murphy very seriously and will certainly do our part to protect those we serve by strictly enforcing his mitigation strategies over the next few weeks,” Staffordsmith said on March 18.

The police have also issued a flurry of citations to residents of the area for assuming that the U.S. Constitution is more than just a suggestion.

Herr Murphy also recently took to Twitter to shout about how much he cares about the little people:

5 Times Biden Dissed Sanders And Betrayed The Radical Left During The Debate Last Night

Joe Biden (D) attempted to put some distance between himself and the radical left, effectively dissing Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and dismissing his wing’s policy proposals — from the Green New Deal to Medicare for All — several times during the first presidential debate Tuesday evening.

Many progressives reluctantly accepted Biden securing the Democrat nomination despite two far-left progressives — Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Sanders, making headway throughout the process. During the primary, Sanders earned the endorsement of the far-left members of the “Squad,” such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who recently expressed hope that the radical left will be able to push Biden even farther to the left, should he take the presidency, according to Breitbart.

1. “No, I don’t support the Green New Deal.”

2. “The party is me. Right now, I am the Democratic Party.”

BIDEN: “He knows that what I proposed, what I proposed is that we expand Obamacare, and we increase it, we do not wipe any — one of the big debates we had with 23 of my colleagues trying to win the nomination that I won, were saying that Biden wanted to allow people to have private insurance still. They can, they do, they will under my proposal.”
TRUMP: “That’s not what you’ve said, and that’s not what your party has said.”
BIDEN: “That is simply a lie.”
TRUMP: “Your party wants to go socialist medicine.”
BIDEN: “The party is me. Right now, I am the Democratic Party.”
TRUMP: “They’re going to dominate you, Joe, you know that.
BIDEN: “I am the Democratic Party right now. The platform of the Democratic Party is what I, in fact, have approved of.”

3. “I’m totally opposed to defunding the police offices.”

“I’m totally opposed to defunding the police officers,” Biden said. “They need more assistance.”

Biden also said that he had not spoken with the mayor of Portland, Oregon, where there have been violent protests for months.

“I’ve made it clear in my public statements that the violence should be prosecuted,” Biden said. He blamed the president’s inflammatory rhetoric for making the situation worse in these cities, saying Mr. Trump “just pours gasoline on the fire.”

Although the president was quick to denounce antifa, he declined to condemn white supremacist supporters stirring unrest in cities across the country.

“I would say almost everything I see is from the left wing, not the right wing,” Mr. Trump said about recent protests.

4. “The violence should be prosecuted.”

“I don’t hold public office. Now I am a former vice president. I’ve made it clear. I’ve made it clear in my public statements that the violence should be prosecuted,” he said. “It should be prosecuted and anyone who committed it should be prosecuted.”

5. “The fact of the matter is I beat Bernie Sanders.”

“The fact of the matter is I beat Bernie Sanders… by a whole hell of a lot,” Biden shot back, and when Trump reiterated that “your party wants to go socialist medicine and socialist healthcare,” Biden responded, “The party is me. Right now, I am the Democratic Party.”

Dem Senators Refuse To Meet With Trump’s Supreme Court Nominee

Democratic senators are refusing to meet with Donald Trump’s Supreme Court pick, Amy Coney Barrett, calling her nomination “illegitimate.”

Fox News contributor Trey Gowdy weighs in on the Supreme Court vacancy showdown.

TDW:

Democrats want to take their ball and go home.

The Constitution sets out the process for filling a vacancy in the Supreme Court. The president nominates a replacement, the Senate provides “advice and consent,” and then lawmakers vote.

But Democrats, who are in the minority in America’s highest legislative chamber, don’t want to play the game anymore.

Supreme Court nominees usually meet with senators from both parties, but this time around, Democrats are refusing to sit down with President Trump’s nominee, Judge Amy Coney Barrett.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) won’t meet with Barrett, saying on Sunday, “I believe first the whole process has been illegitimate. And second, because she’s already stated that she is for overturning the ACA [Affordable Care Act], I will not meet with her.”

Schumer, who says the GOP “will have stolen two Supreme Court seats” if Barrett is confirmed, is joined by Sens. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) and Maize Hirono (D-HI), in refusing to meet with the nominee. “I will oppose the confirmation of Judge Amy Coney Barrett, as I would any nominee proposed as part of this illegitimate sham process, barely one month before an election as Americans are already casting their votes,” Blumenthal wrote Sunday on Twitter.

Blumenthal echoed other Democrats’ talking points on Obamacare, saying, “If Judge Barrett’s views become law, hundreds of millions of Americans living w/pre-existing conditions would lose access to their health care. In the middle of a pandemic, rushing confirmation of an extreme jurist who will decimate health care is unconscionable.” More

The most petulant, childish group of people on the planet! And these are supposedly the “leaders” of our country! They can’t even give respect to her as a fellow human being. Tells us so much of how they really feel about the American people. They really just money and power.

Feminist Journalist Crank: Amy Coney Barrett Is “Weaponizing Her White Womanhood”

Demented Liberal Fixates On Amy Coney Barrett’s Children

As reported by Newsbusters, Christine Grimaldi of Rewire News Group put her tweets on “protected” status after severe online backlash.

“This whole press conference is a display of Amy Coney Barrett weaponizing her white womanhood to grab whatever power managed to slip through the cracks in the Trump administration’s unrelenting misogyny,” tweeted Grimaldi.

“Trump and Barrett using her black children and child with down syndrome to score political points isn’t surprising, but it’s no less appalling,” she continued. “CNN keeps going on and on about Barrett’s family as if that makes her qualified to serve on the Supreme Court, and a whopping three years as a Trump-appointed federal judge, as if that’s enough to qualify for a lifetime on the Supreme Court.”

TDW:

Liberals are throwing everything and the kitchen sink at Judge Amy Coney Barrett in the race to keep her off the Supreme Court. After an “anti-racist” author referred to her as a “white colonizer” for adopting two black children from Haiti, feminist journalist Christine Grimaldi of Rewire News Group claimed that Barrett is “weaponizing her white womanhood.”

In a series of angry tweets on Saturday, while Barrett was accepting her nomination to the Supreme Court, Grimaldi claimed that Barrett was actually using her black children as props to gain political points. More

Biden Busted Lying Again Says SCOTUS Appointments Never Happen In Election Year

Joe Biden said: “Never before in our nation’s history has a Supreme Court justice been nominated and installed while a presidential election is already underway. It defies every precedent.”

“Just because you have the power to do something doesn’t absolve you of your responsibility to do right by the American people.”

Here’s the video:

Historically, throughout American history, when their party controls the Senate, presidents get to fill Supreme Court vacancies at any time — even in a presidential election year, even in a lame-duck session after the election. Historically, when the opposite party controls the Senate, the Senate gets to block Supreme Court nominees sent up in a presidential election year.

RealClearPolitics:

Former vice president Joe Biden accused President Trump of trying to “steal away” protections given to patients under the Affordable Care Act in remarks Sunday about the president’s nomination of Amy Coney Barett to the U.S. Supreme Court.

“President Trump sees a chance to fulfill his explicit mission: steal away the vital protections of the ACA from countless families that have come to rely on them for their health, their financial security, the lives of those they love,” Biden said. “Never before in our nation’s history has a Supreme Court Justice been nominated and installed while a presidential election is already underway. It defies every precedent and every expectation of a nation where the people are sovereign and the rule of law reigns.”

“It doesn’t matter [to Republicans] what the American people want,” Biden said. “Their voices may not matter to Donald Trump, they may not matter to Mitch McConnell, but there are Senate Republicans out there who know in their hearts that if they shut out the voices of those during a voting period, during an election, closing the door on American democracy thereafter. This is where the power of the nation resides, in the people, in the rule of law.”

“To subvert both openly and needlessly, even as Americans cast their vote would be an irreversible step toward the brink, and betrayal of the single quality of America is born and built on: the people decide,” Biden said.

“Trump’s hand-picked successor to Justice Ginsburg’s seat makes it clear: they intend to destroy the Affordable Care Act & overturn Roe. This selection would move the court further right for a generation & harm millions of Americans,” Biden’s running mate Kamala Harris tweeted. “I strongly oppose Judge Barrett’s nomination.” More

Al Sharpton Singles Out Barrett’s Adopted Black Children

Al Sharpton of course has something to snide say about Amy Coney Barrett’s black adopted children: “That was the least diverse audience I’ve ever seen in an announcement like this made in my life,” Sharpton complained.

Sharpton added, “I looked around. I was glad her two kids did come out because I couldn’t find too many other people of color in that audience.” Fellow MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace dumbly nodded along, agreeing that it was “an interesting look for a moment like this in this presidency and a decision so monumental.”

Democrats Prepare Bill Limiting U.S. Supreme Court Justice Terms

Next week House Democrats will introduce a bill to limit the tenure of U.S. Supreme Court justices to 18 years from current lifetime appointments.

“It would save the country a lot of agony and help lower the temperature over fights for the court that go to the fault lines of cultural issues and is one of the primary things tearing at our social fabric,” said California U.S. Representative Ro Khanna, who plans to introduce the legislation on Tuesday, along with Representatives Joe Kennedy III of Massachusetts and Don Beyer of Virginia.

OAN:

Democrats in of the House of Representatives will introduce a bill next week to limit the tenure of U.S. Supreme Court justices to 18 years from current lifetime appointments, in a bid to reduce partisan warring over vacancies and preserve the court’s legitimacy.

The new bill, seen by Reuters, would allow every president to nominate two justices per four-year term and comes amid heightened political tensions as Republican President Donald Trump prepares to announce his third pick for the Supreme Court after the death on Sept. 18 of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, with just 40 days to go until the Nov. 3 election.

[…]

Partly due to rising life expectancies, justices serve increasingly long tenures, on average now more than 25 years. More

They can prepare this all they want. It will never go anywhere. How about passing a bill for term limits for House and Senate? That would be a great step towards cleaning up the swamp.

Seattle City Council Overrides Mayor Durkan, Cuts Up To 100 Officers From Police Force

The Seattle City Council voted to override Mayor Jenny Durkan’s vetoes of police and public-safety changes to the 2020 budget.

TDW:

The Seattle City Council overrode a mayoral veto and pushed through reductions to police funding that will cut dozens of officer positions from the force.

The council decided during a special session on Tuesday to override Democratic Mayor Jenny Durkan, who originally vetoed the legislation shortly after it was passed in early August. The initial cuts will amount to about $3 million, less than 1% of the police department’s roughly $400 million annual budget, according to The Seattle Times.

Council members described the cuts as a “down payment” on future action to defund police and reinvest the money in social programs. In July, seven of the council’s nine members came out in support of cutting the Seattle Police Department’s funding in half, a move that would likely defund an estimated 1,000 positions at the department.

The $3 million cut, which will take effect as soon as possible, will cut up to 100 officer positions from the police force, including 32 patrol officers. The Seattle Police Department’s navigation team, made up of police and social workers who monitor and aid the city’s homeless, will be disbanded. The legislation will also cap officers’ pay, except for the chief’s, at $150,000, according to My Northwest. More

Call me crazy, but isn’t this the same kind of thing that the city government did in Minneapolis that resulted in notable increases in violent crime? I guess some people aren’t very observant and would prefer to learn the hard way. They are playing a dangerous game.
