MSNBC Retracts Fake News that Coronavirus Could Kill 50% of the Nation

MSNBC has finally come clean and retracted its false claim that up to 50 percent of the country will die from the coronavirus.

MSNBC has finally come clean and retracted its false claim that up to 50 percent of the country will die from the coronavirus.

The false information was tweeted by leftist host Chris Hayes who made the absurd claim on Twitter on Monday saying, “There is no option to just let everyone go back out and go back to normal if a pandemic rages across the country and kills 50% of the population.”

By Tuesday, though, MSNBC finally deleted the Hayes tweet and claimed that it was incorrect due to an “editing error.”

“The quote tweeted is incorrect due to an editing error. It should read: ‘if a pandemic rages across the country and infects 50% of the population, and kills a percentage point, at the low end’… The erroneous tweet is included for the record,” the far left-wing cable network insisted.

Hayes’ original tweet received over 2,000 likes and 700 retweets before being deleted.

By contrast, the “correction” has gotten a mere 110 retweets and a paltry 115 likes.

In other words, thousands saw the fake news, but few will ever see the “correction.”

Fake news gets around the world before the truth gets its boots on.

Media Runs with Lie that Sen. Tom Cotton Said ‘Slavery was a Necessary Evil’

On Sunday, Political Wire pushed out the fake news that Ark. Republican Senator Tom Cotton said that “slavery was a necessary evil.”

Published

on

On Sunday, the liar who publishes Political Wire pushed out the fake news that Arkansas Republican Senator Tom Cotton said that “slavery was a necessary evil.” But that is NOT what Cotton said at all.

Taegan Goddard, a former Democrat operative who started Political Wire in 1999, posted a tweet with the lie that Cotton was praising pre-Civil War slavery.

“Cotton Says Slavery Was ‘Necessary Evil.'” Goddard wrote on July 26.

He reiterated the lie on his website, saying, “Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) told the Arkansas Democrat Gazette that slavery was a ‘necessary evil’ for the United States.”

But this characterization of what Cotton said is a fake news lie.

Cotton was not excusing or praising slavery and he did not say that it was “necessary.”

Cotton later jumped to Twitter to slam Goddard for his lie.

“This is the definition of fake news,” Cotton wrote. “I said that *the Founders viewed slavery as a necessary evil* and described how they put the evil institution on the path to extinction, a point frequently made by Lincoln.”

Goddard assailed Cotton’s note claiming that it was really Cotton who is the liar.

“You’re completely disingenuous about what you said. When you say “As so-and-so said,” you’re asserting the same thing and using “so-and-so” as your rhetorical wingman,” he tweeted back to the Senator.

Goddard’s claim, though, is yet another lie. He is essentially saying that if someone quotes a historical argument, it HAS to mean they also believe that historical argument. So, if someone says, “hey, back in the dark ages they said the earth is flat,” then that person is really saying, “hey, I agree with the people in the dark ages that the earth is flat.”

This of course, is utter bull crap.

Cotton was citing how the founders felt about slavery, He was not saying they were right that slavery was necessary.

Goddard is just another left-wing, fake news, liar.

Covington Catholic student Nicholas Sandmann Settles $250M Lawsuit with ‘Wash. Post’

The ‘Washington Post’ threw in the towel and settled a lawsuit filed by Covington Catholic student Nicholas Sandmann.

Published

on

The Washington Post threw in the towel and settled a lawsuit filed by Covington Catholic student Nicholas Sandmann who charged the paper with defamation for its fake news coverage of a 2019 incident in D.C.

You’ll recall that in 2019, the media rose up and called the teenaged Sandmann and his fellow Covington Catholic students a pack of cackling racists who the media said were seen on video attacking black people and a group of Native Americans, the Washington Examiner reported.

With a single mind, the media attacked these teens as evil racists. But a few days later, the full video finally filtered out and it showed that the Native American lied about the encounter and the kids did nothing racist at all.

So, Sandmann filed a $250 million lawsuit against a number of different media outlets, including the Washington Post.

Now the paper has settled out of court. Clearly, they knew they could not win against the charges.

“On 2/19/19, I filed $250M defamation lawsuit against Washington Post. Today, I turned 18 & WaPo settled my lawsuit. Thanks to [Todd McMurtry] & [Lin Wood] for their advocacy. Thanks to my family & millions of you who have stood your ground by supporting me. I still have more to do,” he shared on Twitter. “We have settled with WAPO and CNN. The fight isn’t over. 2 down. 6 to go. Don’t hold your breath [Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey],” the teen said in a statement issued on Friday.

Kris Coratti, a spokeswoman for the Washington Post, told the Washington Examiner, “We are pleased that we have been able to reach a mutually agreeable resolution of the remaining claims in this lawsuit.”

The paper essentially admitted that it wronged Sandmann. In a statement published after the suit was filed, the paper said that “subsequent reporting” gave them “a more complete assessment of what occurred” and it “contradict[ed] or fail[ed]” to prove what the paper initially claimed.

The suit was initially thrown out, but Judge William Bertelsman of the U.S. District Court in Eastern Kentucky reinstated the case by narrowing the allegations of defamatory statements from 33 to just three.

Media Continue to Lie About Trump Press Sec McEnany ‘Science’ Quote on School Opening

The media can’t stop lying about the comments made by President Trump’s press chief, Kayleigh McEnany, about reopening schools.

Published

on

The left-wing media just can’t stop lying about the comments made by President Donald Trump’s press chief, Kayleigh McEnany, about reopening the schools.

On Wednesday, McEnany said that the science backs Trump’s policy of opening the schools. But since her comments, the press has been lying about what she said.

“The president has said, unmistakably, that he wants schools to open. And I was just in the Oval [Office] talking to him about that. And when he says ‘open,’ he means ‘open in full’ — kids being able to attend each and every day at their school,” McEnany told reporters at a White House press briefing.

“The science should not stand in the way of this,” McEnany added. “And as Dr. Scott Atlas said — I thought this was a good quote — ‘Of course we can do it. Everyone else in the Western world, our peer nations, are doing it. We are the outlier here.’ The science is very clear on this — that, you know, for instance, you look at the [Journal of the American Medical Association’s] pediatric study of 46 pediatric hospitals in North America that said the risk of critical illness from COVID is far less for children than that of seasonal flu.”

“The science is on our side here. We encourage for localities and states to just simply follow the science. Open our schools,” she concluded.

But since then, the left-media has been lying repeatedly about what McEnany said. They have twisted her words and have been telling their mind-numbed followers that McEnany was saying that Trump is not letting science guide his policy suggestions.

Obviously, she said the exact opposite, that the science backs Trump’s ideas.

The Washington Examiner collected nearly a dozen examples of the lies from the left-media.

Here are four of them:

“The White House Press Secretary on Trump’s push to reopen schools: ‘The science should not stand in the way of this,’” said CNN’s Jim Acosta, conveniently omitting some fairly necessary context.

CNN’s Ana Cabrera tweeted, “WH Press Secretary: ‘When he (Trump) says open, he means open – in full – kids being able to attend each and every day at their school,’ McEnany told reporters at the press briefing. ‘The science should not stand in the way of this.’”

“From the White House podium: ‘Science should not stand in the way’ of reopening schools,” CBS News White House correspondent Weijia Jiang posted.

Reporter Jim Heath, who brags in his Twitter media profile that he is a Walter Cronkite Award-winner, said, “‘The science should not stand in the way of this.’ You just can’t make this stuff up. 108 days until the election.”

But you can find endless examples of this mischaracterization disgorged by the media liars.

The fact is, the media is our enemy.

Liberty University Sues ‘New York Times’ for Libel Over Paper’s Lies About COVID-19 Outbreak

Liberty University is not taking the lies from the ‘New York Times’ lying down. They are now suing over the paper.

Published

on

Liberty University is not taking the lies from the New York Times lying down. They are suing over the paper’s false claims that the school exposed its students to the coronavirus.

“It’s just not right for the mainstream media to lie about and target conservative Christian organizations,” the school says.

The university filed a lawsuit against the Times for its March 29 story by Elizabeth Williamson entitled, “Liberty University Brings Back Its Students, and Coronavirus Fears, Too.”

The school charges that the story “intentionally misrepresented that Liberty had reopened its campus after spring break and suffered a COVID-19 outbreak as a result.”

The Times’ story claimed that a dozen students came down with COVID-19 after returning to class after a spring break. The paper claimed that its source was Dr. Thomas J. Eppes, who the paper claimed “runs Liberty’s student health service.”

But Liberty says that Eppes does not run their student health services and that none of the 12 students had the virus.

“Simply put, defendants’ claim that ‘Liberty Brings Back its Students and Coronavirus, Too’ was made up,” the lawsuit says, adding that the paper intended “to engineer a specific fictional tale that portrayed Liberty and its President as a caricature the New York Times’ liberal audience would love: backward, irresponsible, anti-science, responsible for getting people sick in a pandemic, and closely tied to and mirroring President Trump.”

The writer of the fake news took a jab at the university on her Twitter account saying, “I visited Liberty U. as the consequences of Jerry Falwell’s decision to reopen the campus amid a pandemic came home to roost.”

The head of the school, Jerry Falwell, Jr., slammed the paper.

“Not only are they a bigoted bunch of liars, and also [a] BuzzFeed type click bait publication now, but they’re also stupid, because they came on campus,” Falwell told Sean Hannity. “We had 25, at least, ‘No Trespassing’ signs everywhere, and they were dumb enough to take pictures of the signs and publish them.” Falwell claimed that the journalists were forced to cut a deal with the local prosecutor to avoid jail time.

“They were here for a few days,” Falwell added. “I think they got their information from a doctor who has a practice ten miles away from Liberty, who had seen a few Liberty kids who had a cold and upper respiratory problem. And none of it was anything like COVID symptoms … he told the reporters to go and talk to our on-campus doctor at our clinic on campus, and they wouldn’t do it. They didn’t talk to us.”

Fallwell added that the paper picked the wrong group to lie about.

“They picked on the wrong conservative,” Falwell said. “It’s just not right for the mainstream media to lie about and target conservative Christian organizations just because of their faith and because of their political beliefs, and we’re going to make an example out of them.”

CNN Announces Plan to Include More Race Pushing in Coverage of ‘News’

CNN has announced the creation of a new “race team” whose job will be to inject race-baiting in every story possible.

Published

on

CNN has announced the creation of a new “race team” whose job will be to inject leftist race-baiting in every story possible.

On Monday, the network’s chief, Jeff Zucker, sent out a memo to employees announcing the “new expanded race team” that will make race the focus in as many stories as possible from now on.

Zucker praised the network’s coverage as “powerful” and “emotional” and credited CNN with helping to “shed a light on the growing movement against institutional racism.”

“Today, I am pleased to announce that we are making an even more significant, sustained commitment to ensure race coverage is a permanent part of our journalism,” Zucker said in the memo, according to TVNewser.

“Many talented journalists around the organization work on or around race,” he continued, praising Sara Sidner, Mallory Simon, John Blake, Abby Phillip, and Brandon Tensley, and “dozens of CNN journalists who regularly report out stories on this beat across Digital, Newsgathering, our contributors, and beyond.”

“Race touches every aspect of our lives, and therefore every area of our coverage,” he said. “That work will continue. It must.”

“In that spirit, we are pleased to share the news of a new and expanded race team, which will contribute to all CNN platforms,” he announced.

“This team will build on what so many do already at CNN and will provide the needed structure to cover this beat with more focus and force,” he continued.

The team, per the memo, will “break news and cover the stories and conversations around race,” including what Zucker called “the systemic racism that the majority of Americans now acknowledge exists.”

Zucker insisted that the team will force racism angles into nearly every story to show “how race is intertwined with inequality in business, politics, sports, media, housing, healthcare, and education.”

Once again, we see that CNN believes it is its job to create fake news to fit a political agenda instead of reporting on actual events in an honest way.

No wonder CNN is now the lowest rated cable news outlet on the air.

‘New York Times’ Calls Mount Rushmore ‘White Supremacist’ Monument

The anti-American ‘New York Times’ is getting slammed for saying that Mount Rushmore is a monument to white supremacy.

Published

on

The anti-American New York Times is getting slammed for saying that Mount Rushmore is a monument to white supremacy and should be removed.

The paper ran a report with the headline “How Mount Rushmore Became Mount Rushmore,” which outlined how Trump’s July 4th celebration “invited even more scrutiny” regarding the monument’s history.

According to Fox News:

Along with the criticisms George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Theodore Roosevelt have faced in recent weeks, the Times reported the condemnation from Native Americans since the monument was built on indigenous land. It also noted how the sculptor Gutzon Borglum had “strong bonds with leaders of the Ku Klux Klan” and has a documented history of espousing white supremacist and anti-Semitic rhetoric.

The story was bad enough, but the tweet the Times sent out was far worse.

“Mount Rushmore was built on land that belonged to the Lakota tribe and sculpted by a man who had strong bonds with the Ku Klux Klan. It features the faces of 2 U.S. presidents who were slaveholders,” the paper tweeted.

Critics blasted the tweet:

Perhaps most amusingly, PragerU really gored the New York Times.

“In 1851, @nytimes founding editor Henry Jarvis Raymond published an editorial in which he supported a slaveowner’s legal right to recover his escaped slaves,” the website tweeted.

Eventually, the Times deleted the tweet.

‘New York Times’ Caught Lying Over Claims Russia Paid Taliban to Kill American Soldiers

The U.S. intelligence community was shocked when the ‘NY Times’ posted a fake news story claiming Russia paid the Taliban to kill Americans.

Published

on

Members of the U.S. intelligence community were shocked last Friday when the New York Times posted a fake news story claiming that Russia paid the Taliban a bounty for every American they killed.

But almost immediately, nearly every intelligence agency on all sides of the issue claimed that the story was false. Even the Taliban debunked it!

The story was published on June 26, and entitled, “Russia Secretly Offered Afghan Militants Bounties to Kill U.S. Troops, Intelligence Says.”

In the fake news, the Times said that an “anonymous source” inside the U.S. intel community told them that Russia hoped “to destabilize the West or take revenge on turncoats, had covertly offered rewards for successful attacks last year.”

The paper also claimed that both President Trump and Vice President Pence were told about this bounty system for dead Americans.

But the Taliban was the first to refute the idea.

Even in the paper’s article, the Taliban’s spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, said they had no “such relations with any intelligence agency.” He labeled the accusation as an attempt to “defame” the Taliban.

“These kinds of deals with the Russian intelligence agency are baseless — our target killings and assassinations were ongoing in years before, and we did it on our own resources,” Mujahid insisted. “That changed after our deal with the Americans, and their lives are secure and we don’t attack them.”

The Russians also came out saying they had no such program.

As for Trump, he said he’s never taken a briefing on any such Russian program.

“Nobody briefed or told me, @VP Pence, or Chief of Staff @MarkMeadows about the so-called attacks on our troops in Afghanistan by Russians, as reported through an “anonymous source” by the Fake News @nytimes. Everybody is denying it & there have not been many attacks on us,” he tweeted, adding, “Nobody’s been tougher on Russia than the Trump Administration. With Corrupt Joe Biden & Obama, Russia had a field day, taking over important parts of Ukraine – Where’s Hunter? Probably just another phony Times hit job, just like their failed Russia Hoax. Who is their ‘source’?”

Director of National Intelligence, John Ratcliffe, also said he confirmed that Trump and Pence weren’t briefed on any such Russian program.

The most telling part of this nonsense is also right on the Times story:

The intelligence assessment is said to be based at least in part on interrogations of captured Afghan militants and criminals. The officials did not describe the mechanics of the Russian operation, such as how targets were picked or how money changed hands. It is also not clear whether Russian operatives had deployed inside Afghanistan or met with their Taliban counterparts elsewhere.

Notice how the only thing the story is based on is the claim that the Russians paid for U.S. scalps. But there are no details, not even the smallest detail, about this supposed practice.

In other words, the New York Times published an entire story on an “anonymous” claim that every intel agency denies, that has no back up, even from the Taliban, and that contains not even the tiniest detail about the so-called practice.

Can you say fake news?

In fact, I’d dare say it is worse than mere fake news. It is what the Times HOPED would be happening. They’d love to see out troops assassinated for a bounty.
