MLB Owners Ready to Play Ball with New Season Start Date Approved

And the dat is oh, so fitting.

Baseball is coming back, folks, and soon.

No, I’m not talking about the Korean Baseball Organization, whose live games have been filling the hole in sports fans’ hearts during the wee hours of the morning on the US East Coast.  I’m talking about The Bigs.  The national pastime.

I’m talking about the bonafide majors.

Major League Baseball owners reportedly approved a plan that could start the coronavirus-delayed season around the Fourth of July in ballparks without fans.

Spring training could start in early-to-mid June and the National League would use a designated hitter during the 2020 season, according to multiple reports.

Each team would play an 82-game regular season with most teams playing games in their own divisions and interleague not going past regional matchups such as AL East vs. NL East, AL Central vs. NL Central and AL West vs. NL West.

The postseason would expand to 14 teams by doubling the number of wild cards in each league to four.

Teams will have some choices to make, however, as they’ll be allowed to conduct spring training either in their regular-season home stadiums, or at their Florida or Arizona training facilities.

The current coronavirus travel restrictions will also make things difficult for the lone international team in MLB, the Toronto Blue Jays, who could be forced to play their home games at their facility in Dunedin, Florida.

There is a chance that the All-Star Game will be nixed as well, which will only add to the uniqueness of the 2020 baseball season – a campaign that will almost certainly be accompanied by an enormous asterisk in the record books.

ESPN’s Dan Le Batard Thinks It’s Funny that Christian NBA Player Jonathan Issacs Got Hurt

ESPN radio host Dan Le Batard jumped to Twitter Monday to say he thought it was funny when Christian NBA player got hurt.

Dan Le Batard, a left-wing creep and host of an ESPN radio show, jumped to Twitter Monday to say he thought it was funny when Christian NBA player Jonathan Issacs got a brutal ACL injury on Sunday.

You may recall that Issacs refused to wear a Black Lives Matter t-shirt and would not take a knee during the national anthem during Sunday’s game.

Issacs insisted that he is a Christian and, while he believes in the basic idea that “black lives matter,” he just can’t kneel for any cause but his religion.

Apparently, standing for your principles is enough for Dan Le Retard to wish harm on you if you oppose his political agenda.

Issacs’ ACL tear was so bad he had to be taken off the court in a wheelchair.

But on Monday morning, Le Batard posted a “funny” poll asking his fans to weigh in on just how hilarious Issacs’ injury was on the court.

Le Batard asked his listeners “Is it funny that the guy who refused to kneel immediately blew out his knee?”

It wasn’t long, though, before the condemnation of Le Batard’s hate-filled tweet left him sputtering in apology, removing the tweet, and posting a mea culpa.

“We apologize for this poll question. I said on the front and back end of the on-air conversation that I didn’t think it was funny. Regardless of the context, we missed the mark. We took the tweet down when we realized our mistake in how we posed the question to the audience,” the post read.

He’s not really sorry. He’s just sorry he got caught.

Former Packers Star Brett Favre Golfs with President Trump After Praising Colin Kapernick

Packers star Brett Favre hit the links with President Trump, Saturday, even after Favre had praised national anthem protester Colin Kaepernick.

Former Green Bay Packers star Brett Favre hit the links with President Donald Trump, Saturday, even after Favre had praised national anthem protester Colin Kaepernick.

The president noted the match in a Sunday morning tweet saying, “Brett LOVES Wisconsin, Mississippi and Minnesota. A good golfer – hits it LONG!”

The event is interesting because the 1997 Super Bowl winner recently praised protester and former NFL player Colin Kaepernick for taking a stand in spite of his football career. And Trump is a vocal and well-known critic of the national anthem protester.

Farve mentioned Kaepernick during an interview with TMZ Sports last week, saying that Kaepernick would go down in history as a “hero.” He even equated Kaepernick with Army Ranger Pat Tillman who set aside his NFL career to fight in Afghanistan where he lost his life in battle in 2004.

But Farve quickly earned criticism for seeming to equate the anti-American Kaepernick and Army Ranger Tillman. He later tried to clarify that he respected the players because they both set aside their football careers for a cause.

“Including Pat Tillman’s name in the interview on Colin Kaepernick was not a comparison of the two, but a recognition that they both sidelined their football dreams in pursuit of a cause. Pat tragically lost his life, making the ultimate sacrifice, and deserves the highest honor,” the 50-year-old former NFL player said on June 22.

Still, Farve has studiously avoided talking politics in his long career in the public eye. Whatever he thinks about Donald Trump, he clearly saw no reason not to go golfing with him. That alone has brought him much flak on social media this weekend.

Hilarious: NBA Players Already Turning On Each Other During Quarantine

It looks like NBA players are already turning on each other while locked up in quarantine ahead of the 2020 season.

It looks like NBA players are already turning on each other while locked up in quarantine ahead of the truncated 2020 season.

According to inside reports, the players are snitching on each other for violating the quarantine protocols.

Shams Charania says that “multiple tips” have been called into the NBA’s hotline at Disney.

The players are being secluded at the Disney resort in Orlando ahead of the July 30 restart to the NBA’s 2020 season.

“Multiple tips have been placed into the NBA’s anonymous hotline to report protocol violations on campus, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA.”

Now that is hilarious.

And here we thought that “snitches get stitches”?

The players are supposed to be secluded in the Disney resort to prevent them from coming in contact with the virus. The plan is to keep the players isolated and to make sure they are ready to play the back half of the coronavirus 2020 season.

But, one can imagine just how many of them are sneaking out to enjoy themselves regardless of the rules. After all, they are woke! They don’t need rules.

How much you want to bet the NBA ends up having multiple cases right there in Orlando! And then the whole thing gets canceled.

Ex-NFLer Marcellus Wiley Slams NBA for Painting ‘Black Lives Matter’ on Court Sidelines

Ex-NFL player Marcellus Wiley says that the NBA’s decision to paint Black Lives Matter on court sidelines is a bad idea.

Ex-NFL player Marcellus Wiley says that the NBA’s decision to paint Black Lives Matter on court sidelines is a bad idea.

Last month, the National Basketball Association announced that it intended to paint Black Lives Matter on the floor of the court at Disney World in Orlando that is to be used for the coronavirus shortened 2020 basketball season.

But former Buffalo Bills player and sports analyst Marcellus Wiley is not on board with the NBA’s activism. “It’s not a good idea,” he said during a recent broadcast of FS1’s “Speak For Yourself.”

Wiley congratulated the players for having the pull to get the league to bow to their social justice demands, but in the end, he feels that “no matter how well intentioned” putting black lives matter on the sidelines will be an act of division and polarization, not unity.

“There’s a problem when you start going down this road,” Wiley said adding that he worries that there won’t be enough “social space for those who don’t support” the social justice message.

“That’s where I wonder where this is going to go,” he said, “in terms of identity politics. We know what identity politics does — it divides, and it polarizes. No matter how you want to look at it, that’s just the effect of it no matter how great the intentions are. We all know the road to hell is paved with good intentions.”

Wiley explained that the Black Lives Matter mission statement is very concerning, especially the movement’s declaration that they want to “dismantle the patriarchal practice,” and “disrupt the western-described nuclear family structure requirement.”

“It’s an interesting play right here. I don’t know how many people really look into the mission statement of Black Lives Matter, but I did. And when you look into it, there’s a couple of things that jump out to me. And I’m a black man who has been black and my life has mattered since 1974. And this organization was founded in 2013 and I’m proud of you but I’ve been fighting this fight for me and for others a lot longer.”

Wiley noted that the integrity of families were “vitally important” to him. “Not only the one I grew up in but the one I am trying to create right now. Being a father and a husband, that’s my mission in life right now. How do I reconcile that with this, the mission statement that says, “We dismantle the patriarchal practice. We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement,” he said.

“When I know statistics, when I know my reality, forget statistics, I knew this before I even went to Columbia and saw these same statistics that I’m going to read to you right now,” he said before going into the numbers.

“Children from single-parent homes versus two-parent homes. The children from the single-parent homes — this was in 1995 I was reading this — five times more likely to commit suicide. Six times more likely to be in poverty. Nine times more likely to drop out of high school. Ten times more likely to abuse chemical substances. Fourteen times more likely to commit rape, 20 times more likely to end up in prison, and 32 times more likely to run away from home.”

Wiley pointed out that too many black men already grow up without a supportive family structure and it harms them terribly.

“So, when I see that as a mission statement for Black Lives Matter, it makes me scratch my head,” he said.

Wiley concluded noting that all this “white supremacy” BLM keeps talking about does not really exist.

“When I also see their mission is to eradicate white supremacy. In 2020, white supremacy is the mission. That’s a lot of digging through minutiae right there. I’m on a show that I’m hosting with another black guy who is hosting with me who replaced another black guy, and that’s just one example of it. So, I understand, I respect your space. I respect what you’re protesting for. But will you respect others who don’t support that same protest?”

These are the divisive issues that the NBA is pushing on fans by supporting the Black Lives Matter movement, Wiley said.

NFL Plans to Play ‘Black National Anthem’ At Start of Games This Season

The NFL has announced that it intends to play the so-called “Black National Anthem” before games this season.

The NFL has announced that it intends to cause even more division in America by playing the so-called “Black National Anthem” before games this season.

The league has decided to play “Lift Ev’ry Voice And Sing,” — also know as the “Black National Anthem” — ahead of games when pro football returns this year, according to ESPN.

NFL sources told ESPN that the song will be played before the proper national anthem as part of the league’s “social justice” recognition efforts.

As if the NFL is not already promoting an “us vs. them” atmosphere by claiming that Americans who are patriotic and want to show respect for the real national anthem hate black people, now the league is telling blacks that they should be so separate from America that they should have their own national anthem played to pander to them.

It is one thing to discuss the duly selected song that is our national anthem, but quite another to give a small sector of the nation their own anthem as if they don’t belong to the U.S.A.

But it is getting clearer every day that the National Football League is not “national” at all… at least not THIS nation.

It isn’t clear what nation the National Football League represents, but it isn’t America.

Worse, all this fake “social justice” garbage is built on a quicksand base of lies in the first place.

The police are not killing blacks every day. Indeed, cops end up killing more white people every year than they do blacks.

But even more to the point, less than 2,000 people of all races are killed in altercations with police and that is out of a nation of more than 300 million.

So, the NFL is lying to America, separating America, tearing down America, and then expects white people to meekly go along and hand them their hard-earned money.

America, the NFL is calling you racist, evil, murderous, and callous.

It’s time you told the NFL something.

Mark Levin Blasts NBA ‘Hypocrites and Frauds’ for Painting Black Lives Matter on Sidelines

Talk radio star Mark Levin blasted the NBA for supporting “anti-Semitic, hate-America group” Black Lives Matter.

Talk radio star Mark Levin blasted the NBA for its plans to paint the name of “anti-Semitic, hate-America group” Black Lives Matter on the court’s sidelines.

According to ESPN, the NBA is looking for ways to express solidarity both with their players and with the Black Lives Matter movement and one suggestion was to paint “Black Lives Matter” on the sidelines at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex where the 2020 season is to be played.

Talker Levin, though, took to Facebook to note how disgusted he was by the move to festoon the sidelines with Black Lives Matter messages.

“So, a violent Marxist-anarchist, anti-Semitic, hate-America group will have its name painted on sides of the NBA basketball courts. And the multi-millionaire players and billionaire owners — hypocrites and frauds — expect the rest of us to pay for this? I certainly hope we still have the gumption to tell these pathetic, phony revolutionaries, who milk this country for everything it’s worthwhile condemning it, go to hell and we, the people, stop subsidizing their extravagant lifestyles.”

Another one of the ideas being kicked around by the NBA is to allow players to replace their last names with social justice slogans on their Jerseys.

Last weekend, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Chris Paul, president of the National Basketball Players Association, said that the players are working with the league to change the jersey policy to allow players to promote their favorite causes.

Slogans could include “Black Lives Matter,” or “I Can’t Breathe,” or other sayings and slogans according to reports.

In any case, Levin is 100 percent right. These NBA slimeballs are utter hypocrites.

Even as they pretend they are fighters for equality, freedom and democracy, they are also working hand in tyrant’s glove with the Chinese who are right now one of the most tyrannical governments on earth!

NFL Commissioner: I Want Colin Kaepernick To ‘Help Us, Guide Us’ On Social Issues

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said during an interview that he wants a team to sign former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick and that if he does not make it back on the field then he is invited to the “table” to “help” and “guide” the NFL on social issues.

“Well, listen, if he wants to resume his career in the NFL, then obviously it’s going to take a team to make that decision,” Roger Goodell said during an interview with ESPN. “But I welcome that, support a club making that decision and encourage them to do that.

“If his efforts are not on the field but continuing to work in this space, we welcome him to that table and to help us, guide us, help us make better decisions about the kinds of things that need to be done in the communities,” Goodell continued. “We have invited him in before, and we want to make sure that everybody’s welcome at that table and trying to help us deal with some very complex, difficult issues that have been around for a long time.”

Roger Goodell added, “But I hope we’re at a point now where everybody’s committed to making long-term, sustainable change.”
