Minneapolis City Council Pres. Says You are a Racist if You Call Police on Home Invaders

Minneapolis City Council President Lisa Bender now says that if you call the police on a home invader, you must be a racist.

After weeks of violence from the anti-American Black Lives Matter movement, Minneapolis City Council President Lisa Bender now says that if you call the police on a home invader, you must be a racist.

Bender recently came out in support of eliminating the city’s police force in favor of some silly, mythic “community policing” nonsense.

When asked about her ill-conceived anti-cop notions during an interview on CNN on Monday, Bender proclaimed those seeking to protect their homes to be racists.

“Yes, I mean, and I hear that loud and clear from several of my neighbors, and I know, and myself too, and I know that comes from a place of privilege,” she said.

Meanwhile, large sections of Minneapolis have been utterly destroyed by the anti-American domestic terror outfit called Black Lives Matter and its enforcement arm, Antifa.

Meanwhile, the Minneapolis City Council is moving to defund and dismantle the city’s police force in response to a single officer’s actions.

“Nine members of the Minneapolis City Council on Sunday announced they intend to defund and dismantle the city’s police department following the police killing of George Floyd,” CNN reported.

CNN quoted Bender saying, “We committed to dismantling policing as we know it in the city of Minneapolis and to rebuild with our community a new model of public safety that actually keeps our community safe.”

Seattle City Council Overrides Mayor Durkan, Cuts Up To 100 Officers From Police Force

Seattle City Council Overrides Mayor Durkan, Cuts Up To 100 Officers From Police Force

The Seattle City Council voted to override Mayor Jenny Durkan’s vetoes of police and public-safety changes to the 2020 budget.

TDW:

The Seattle City Council overrode a mayoral veto and pushed through reductions to police funding that will cut dozens of officer positions from the force.

The council decided during a special session on Tuesday to override Democratic Mayor Jenny Durkan, who originally vetoed the legislation shortly after it was passed in early August. The initial cuts will amount to about $3 million, less than 1% of the police department’s roughly $400 million annual budget, according to The Seattle Times.

Council members described the cuts as a “down payment” on future action to defund police and reinvest the money in social programs. In July, seven of the council’s nine members came out in support of cutting the Seattle Police Department’s funding in half, a move that would likely defund an estimated 1,000 positions at the department.

The $3 million cut, which will take effect as soon as possible, will cut up to 100 officer positions from the police force, including 32 patrol officers. The Seattle Police Department’s navigation team, made up of police and social workers who monitor and aid the city’s homeless, will be disbanded. The legislation will also cap officers’ pay, except for the chief’s, at $150,000, according to My Northwest. More

Call me crazy, but isn’t this the same kind of thing that the city government did in Minneapolis that resulted in notable increases in violent crime? I guess some people aren’t very observant and would prefer to learn the hard way. They are playing a dangerous game.

Florida: Bloomberg Raised $16 Million So Felons Could Vote

Desperate Democrats!

Billionaire Michael Bloomberg has reportedly amassed more than $16 million in a fundraising push in an effort to help convicted felons in Florida register to vote.

“The right to vote is fundamental to our democracy and no American should be denied that right,” a Bloomberg spokesperson told the news outlet. “Working together with the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition, we are determined to end disenfranchisement and the discrimination that has always driven it.”

The Florida Rights Restoration Coalition estimated Bloomberg’s fundraising push has already paid off monetary obligations for 32,000 felons, Axios reported.

Billionaire Michael Bloomberg has raised over $16 million to help felons pay outstanding fines and fees to regain their voting rights in Florida.

The big picture: A 2018 state constitutional amendment in Florida allows for felons who have completed their sentences to regain their right to vote — so long as they’ve also paid back any outstanding fines, fees or restitution.

  • Bloomberg’s fundraising, in addition to $5 million from the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition, has now paid off monetary obligations for 32,000 felons in Florida just before Election Day.
  • Voters who were already registered to vote, Black or Latino, and had fines and fees of less than $1500 were eligible for the payback initiative.  More

Talk about buying votes! Is this even legal?

Has Bloomberg figured out how many more Florida Cubans will vote for Trump as a result of what he just did?

Pelosi Brags About Dems Denying Aid To Americans With Virus Relief Bill: "So Proud"

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi doubled-down on her party’s flat-out rejection of an additional Coronavirus stimulus package saying she was “so proud of every Senate Democrat” who voted against the Republican proposal.

“Republicans put forth an emaciated bill, I’m so proud that every Senate Democrat voted against it.”

Nancy Pelosi needs to step down and retire along with several other people. She is the poster child for term limits.

Rob Reiner Declares "War" Against Republicans: "Dems Have Powerful Weapons. Now Is The Time To Use Them."

Rob Reiner seemed to make extreme remarks about the upcoming Supreme Court battle, saying that Democrats needed to “use” “powerful weapons” in “war” against Republicans.

Reiner’s remarks come after Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died on Friday.

“Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s body isn’t even cold and Mitch McConnell is dancing on her grave,” Reiner claimed. “This is war. Dems have powerful weapons. Now is the time to use them.”

Leftists Threaten Even More Violence If RBG Replaced Before Election

Study Finds Hundreds Of Violent Demonstrations In Just Three Months

Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died Friday. Her death brought with it a huge political discord as Democrats are demanding she not be replaced until after the election or else there will be more violent riots.

TDW:

Left-wing media figures rushed to threaten violent riots on Friday evening if President Donald Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) attempt to fill the Supreme Court seat vacated by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who passed away earlier in the day.

Reza Aslan, who used to have a show on CNN, responded by writing: “If they even TRY to replace RBG we burn the entire f***ing thing down.”

Political writer Laura Bassett echoed a similar sentiment, but stopped short of making a threat, writing: “If McConnell jams someone through, which he will, there will be riots. … *more, bigger riots.” More

It doesn’t matter who President Trump nominates because violence is their only recourse at this point.

Violent protests following the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg have already started:

Democrats, Media Grossly Misrepresent “The McConnell Rule” Previously Known As “The Biden Rule”

Here’s why it doesn’t apply now.

Published

McConnell says the Biden Rule has no effect because there’s no political split between the senate and the presidency.

Like the so-called “Biden Rule,” the standard that McConnell advocated in 2016 was that a Supreme Court vacancy should not be filled in an election year when the political party that has a majority in the Senate is not the same political party that controls the White House.

“You can disagree with the McConnell rule, which was previously known as the Biden rule, but you should describe it accurately. It’s no confirmations in a presidential election year *when senate and presidency are held by different parties.* Doesn’t apply this year,” commentator Mollie Hemingway tweeted.

The Blaze:

It took just minutes after the announcement of Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death for Republicans and Democrats to begin fighting over whether President Donald Trump should nominate a judge to fill the new vacancy on the high court and whether the Senate should consider whomever Trump nominates.

Citing the so-called “McConnell Rule,” Democrats have claimed that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) should wait until after the election to consider filing the vacancy.

For example, Ian Sams, a former aide to Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris, said, “No SCOTUS justice before the election. McConnell rule.”

But McConnell was quick to announce Friday that the Senate will, in fact, vote on Trump’s nominee.

“President Trump’s nominee will receive a vote on the floor of the United States Senate,” McConnell said.

The announcement was immediately met with claims that McConnell has hypocritically reversed his position in 2016, when he blocked Merrick Garland, then-President Barack Obama’s nominee to fill a Supreme Court vacancy left by Antonin Scalia’s sudden death. More

Democrats have claimed that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell should wait until after the election to consider filing the vacancy while misrepresenting the “McConnell Rule:”
