Miami: Statue Of Jesus Toppled And Beheaded

A statue of Jesus Christ was found beheaded and knocked off its pedestal outside of a Miami-Dade church, and the Archdiocese of Miami believes the incident was not an accident.

The statue was found decapitated and moved from its pedestal outside Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Wednesday morning.

“The Archdiocese of Miami expects the police to investigate this desecration of the Jesus Christ statue as a hate crime. This crime reflects the increasing attacks on the Catholic church across the country,” the archdiocese said in a statement.

Washington Examiner:

A statue of Jesus Christ was vandalized in Miami on Wednesday morning, and the Archdiocese of Miami expects it will be investigated as a hate crime.

The statue, located at southwest Miami-Dade’s Good Shepherd Catholic Church, was found decapitated and removed from its pedestal, and the Rev. Edivaldo da Silva believes it was a targeted attack, according to WSVN News 7.

“Obviously not, that’s for sure,” da Silva said when asked if the statue fell over on its own. “They had some powerful hands to remove it. Seeing what is happening in our country, I presume so, but we don’t have 100% assurance.” More

More hate against Christians. Socialism demands the removal of religion. The state is their God.

Former ESPN Sports Writer Jason Whitlock: MSM Narrative About George Floyd A “Race Hoax”

Former ESPN Sports Writer Jason Whitlock: MSM Narrative About George Floyd A "Race Hoax"

Former ESPN sportswriter Jason Whitlock argued that the recently released bodycam footage from two officers involved in the arrest of George Floyd shows that the mainstream racial narrative surrounding Floyd’s death was a “race hoax” used to divide America.

“Leaked video exposes George Floyd’s death as tragedy and race hoax used to divide us,” states the headline to Whitlock’s opinion piece published by Outkick yesterday.

The footage, released by TDM was taken from the body cameras of Officers Thomas Lane and Alex Kueng after they responded to a call that Floyd was allegedly using counterfeit money at Cup Foods. The footage shows Floyd acting in an erratic manner that prompts police to question if he is intoxicated and includes Floyd resisting attempts to get him in the back of the police car, citing his “claustrophobia,” “anxiety,” previously having “COVID,” and his difficulty breathing. Floyd eventually begins yelling that he “can’t breathe” and saying he’d prefer to be on the ground than in the car.

Jason Whitlock argued that the footage suggests the officers involved were “appropriate and restrained given Floyd’s level of resistance and bizarre conduct,” adding that it also “reasonably explains how and why Floyd wound up on the ground with multiple officers restraining him.”

Jason Whitlock emphasized that the video “does not justify officer Derek Chauvin kneeling on Floyd’s neck for nearly nine minutes.” However, he argued, the video offers “context” for “why Chauvin would be reluctant to believe Floyd’s ‘I can’t breathe’ cries,” citing his repetition of false claims and “panicked, disoriented, desperate and totally non-compliant” behavior.

“The NBA, the NFL and Major League Baseball chose to drape themselves in Black Lives Matter symbols and view all negative encounters between black people and white people as examples of white supremacy,” Jason Whitlock wrote, saying that life is “far more complicated” than its portrayed on social media.

“What happened to George Floyd is more complicated than the substance-less assertion that Derek Chauvin acted out of racial animus,” Jason Whitlock writes. Chauvin abused his power. His defense lawyers will argue he was baited into abusing his power by Floyd.”

Here are Jason Whitlock’s takeaways from the footage:

  • Floyd’s behavior escalated a routine arrest into a possible abuse of force.
  • The George Floyd case is not a race crime. No rational person can watch that footage and conclude the police were motivated by Floyd’s black race.
  • It’s going to be virtually impossible to convict former officers Thomas Lane, J. Alexander Kueng and Tou Thao of any crime.
  • It will be equally difficult to convict Chauvin of murder.

Cuban Community Push Back Against "Mafia Tactics" By Local BLM Demands

A Black Lives Matter group has begun threatening local businesses in Louisville, Kentucky, and telling them if they don’t give protection money, their shops will be looted.

The Cuban community planned a rally yesterday at NuLu restaurant in response to Black Lives Matter demands.

Courier Journal:

Members of Louisville’s Cuban community plan to gather Sunday in support of a NuLu restaurant owner who says he was threatened by Black Lives Matter protesters during a recent demonstration.

Fernando Martinez, a partner of the Olé Restaurant Group, was one of dozens of business owners in the downtown Louisville district who recently received a letter from protesters laying out demands that aim to improve diversity in the area, which is known for its locally-owned shops and restaurants.

Martinez has publicly denounced the demands on Facebook, calling them “mafia tactics” used to intimidate business owners. And on Thursday, a small group of protesters confronted him outside his newest restaurant, La Bodeguita de Mima, on East Market Street.

“There comes a time in life that you have to make a stand and you have to really prove your convictions and what you believe in,” Martinez wrote in his Facebook post. “… All good people need to denounce this. How can you justified (sic) injustice with more injustice?” More

Why isn’t this viewed as extortion? And where are the local, state, and federal authorities investigating this as a crime?

Portland Rioter Throws Incendiary Device, Gets Hit With Pepper Balls & Arrested (Video)

A rioter jumps over the barrier and lights some type of incendiary device to throw at the Portland federal courthouse. He is shot with pepper balls after he hurls the lit projectile.

Here’s a photograph of the man who jumped over the fence and lit some type of device to throw at the Portland federal courthouse. Well, at least he is already dressed in the appropriate outfit for prison.

The person in question has been apprehended by the authorities. He tried to climb up the light pole to escape federal officers only to get stuck there. The officers had to bring in a ladder to get him down.

Start prosecuting and convicting these idiots for using an improvised explosive device while in the commission of a felony while on federal property.

Violent Rioters Torch Courthouses, Attack Police, Chant Racial Slurs

Violent rioters torched courthouses in Colorado and California last night as far-left riots shook other cities across the country.

“We ask organizers of tonight’s protest to help maintain peace,” the Oakland Police Department tweeted. “Currently, some demonstrators in the area of 17th & Lakeside are breaking windows and chanting racial slurs at residents.”

“Agitators within the crowd of demonstrators have set the Alameda County Superior Courthouse on fire,” the department added. “Please avoid the area. We are calling for peace and to have safe spaces and safe places for tonight’s demonstration.”

“Fireworks and dangerous projectiles are some of the items agitators used to assault officers. We ask the organizers of tonight’s demonstration to work with us, calling for peace and help us provide safe spaces and safe places for demonstrators.”

In Colorado, the Aurora PD appealed to protesters “please remain peaceful,” which did nothing to stop rioters from carrying out acts of violence.

“The protestors are no longer peaceful as they are now throwing objects, shining lasers, and shooting large fireworks at officers,” the department tweeted. “We now have protestors that have broken windows to the courthouse and are inside of the building, attempting to start fires.”

Violent Extremists Injure Nearly 2 Dozen Seattle Cops, Attack Police Station With ‘Explosives’

Violent extremists injured nearly two dozen Seattle Police Department officers on Sunday during an assault on the department.

Rioters emerged from the group and began spray painting and attempting to disable security cameras and a fenced perimeter around the precinct, the Seattle Police Department said in a statement. “At least one person breached the precinct’s fence line. Moments later, a device exploded leaving an 8-inch hole in the side of the precinct.”

“Due to the ongoing public safety risks and damaged associated with this incident march, SPD declared the incident a riot and began issuing orders to leave the area,” the department continued. “The crowd threw bottles and balloons filled with liquid and shot mortar fireworks and tossed explosives at officers.”

“Over the next several hours, a smaller crowd wound through Capitol Hill, continuing to throw bricks, rocks, mortars and other explosives at officers,” the department added. “As of 10 pm, police had made 45 arrests in connection with today’s riot for assaults on officers, failure to disperse, and obstruction.”

“Twenty-one officers sustained injuries during the day’s events. Most were able to return to duty. One was treated at a hospital for a knee injury,” the statement concluded. “Arson/Bomb detectives are investigating the explosion at the East Precinct.”
