Miami Heat Player Explains Why He Won’t Wear Black Lives Matter Shirt or Kneel During Anthem

The Miami Heat’s Meyers Leonard is the only member of his team refusing to take a knee during the national anthem.

The Miami Heat’s Meyers Leonard is the only member of his team refusing to take a knee during the national anthem, and now he is explaining why.

Leonard says that not only is he a committed Christian, but he just can’t bring himself to protest against the country during the anthem because he is a huge supporter of the U.S. military.

Not only is Leonard’s brother serving as a U.S. Marine in Afghanistan, but he counts a number of Navy SEALs as close personal friends.

Still, he says he understands and believes in what people say is the basic idea of Black Lives Matter.

Trending: Coroner Saying George Floyd Died of Drug Overdose, Not Police Brutality

“I absolutely believe Black Lives Matter,” Leonard said over the weekend, according to Fox News.

“Some of the conversations I’ve had over the past three days, quite literally, have been the most difficult,” Leonard added. “I am with the Black Lives Matter movement and I love and support the military and my brother and the people who have fought to defend our rights in this country.”

But he went on to criticize the fact that so many people see the issues as an us vs. them proposition.

“I am a compassionate human being and I truly love all people,” he said. “I can’t fully comprehend how our world, literally and figuratively, has turned into Black and white. There’s a line in the sand, so to speak: ‘If you’re not kneeling, you’re not with us.’ And that’s not true.”

“I live my life to serve and impact others in a positive way,” he said.

Leonard is not the only pro athlete refusing to fall in line for the terroristic Black Lives Matter movement.

Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac decided to remain standing during the national anthem during the weekend’s games. Like Leonard, he also will not wear any BLM apparel.

Isaac noted that being a pro-athlete does not give anyone a sudden grasp of all truth.

“Just because we are in the position of being an NBA player, it doesn’t give us automatically an understanding or insight to issues that happen around us,” he said. “But I think because we have the ear of so many it’s important for us to be diligent, to be vocal, but in a balanced way”

Another player that bravely bucked the left-wing establishment was Major League Baseball player Sam Coonrod said that he will not disrespect the country by kneeling because he is a Christian and only kneels before God.

WATCH: Group of Black Men Slam Black Lives Matter As Anti-Americanism At It’s Worst

A video of a group of black men slamming Black Lives Matter is gong viral and for good reason. These men reveal how un-American the BLM movement really is.

A video of a group of black men slamming Black Lives Matter is gong viral and for good reason. These men reveal how un-American the BLM movement really is.

The video starts out with one black man speaking passionately against the BLM lie.

“They’re full of hate. Nobody listen to them. Don’t listen to them. Don’t try to understand them. Why? They are full of hate. You don’t need it. America don’t need it.”

“In a black neighborhood, black-on-black crime is real. … White people aren’t doing anything to them.”

“White people voted Barack Obama in for eight years. … Everything that the blacks could be crying about should have did it on his watch. And they didn’t.”

“I’m black, 52, I’m not oppressed. Ain’t nobody oppressing me. America’s more free than it’s ever been.”

“Some little young, 19-year-old black person. ‘They been through this.’ They ain’t been through nothing. They’re creating it! They’re creating a problem that does not exist like they’re talking about!”

“They don’t know who they’re mad at. Remember, this started with George Floyd. It went from George Floyd to now, it became the white people. Then it went from the white people, now it’s the whole system of America. They don’t know what they’re mad at. They don’t know what they’re bothered by. … Don’t get caught up in the hype. It’s all wrong.”

“The only people that’s oppressed in this world is people that embrace being oppressed.”

“If they are so bothered, why don’t they leave and go to Africa or to another country? If you’re that bothered with America, pack your stuff, hold a crusade, because I think some of us will put money up and help you leave.”

Then another man enters the picture with similar sentiments.

Support for Black Lives Matter Plummets Among Hispanics, Whites, and Republicans

The Black Lives Matter movement had near universal support, but that is no more. Support for the group is collapsing after months of riots, looting, and murders.

Published

Three months ago, the Black Lives Matter movement had near universal support, but that is no more. Support for the group is collapsing after months of riots, looting, and murders.

According to Daily Caller, overall, support for Black Lives Matter has dropped 12 percent over the past three months.

“Roughly 55% of American adults said that they supported BLM in September, compared to 67% of people who said the same thing in June, according to a poll from the Pew Research Center. White American support fell the most, dipping from 60% in June to 45% in September, the poll found,” the website noted.

“Hispanic American support for BLM decreased from 77% to 66%, while Asian Americans have cooled to the movement as well, with support dropping from 75% to 69% since June,” Daily Caller added.

This is not the first time that support for BLM has collapsed.

After the destructive riots in Kenosha a poll in Wisconsin found that support for BLM had cratered by 25 percentage points.

“Democrats need to be extremely concerned about what’s happening in Wisconsin, where support for BLM has gone from +25 to +0 in 2 months,” tweeted leftist journo Jonathan Chait at the end of August.

The recently released RPubs poll also shows that approval for Black Lives Matter amongst whites has dropped from +22 to -5 since June.

That poll was also taken the week before the worst of the destruction occurred in the city.

It should not be surprising because nearly every riot over the last three months has direct ties to the BLM movement.

Another study found that 95 percent of all riots since the death of George Floyd have direct ties to the Black Lives Matter terrorist movement.

Study: Almost Every Riot Linked to Black Lives Matter

A new study finds that 95 percent of all riots since the death of George Floyd have direct ties to the Black Lives Matter terrorist movement.

Published

A new study finds that 95 percent of all riots since the death of George Floyd have direct ties to the Black Lives Matter terrorist movement.

Data collected by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED), a nonprofit organization that tracks conflict across the globe, tracked riots in the U.S. from May 26 to Sept. 5.

Per The Federalist:

Of the 633 incidents coded as riots, 88 percent are recorded as involving Black Lives Matter activists. Data for 51 incidents lack information about the perpetrators’ identities. BLM activists were involved in 95 percent of the riots for which there is information about the perpetrators’ affiliation.

Early estimates from insurance agencies say the cost of this summer’s rioting will set a record surpassing that of the 1992 Rodney King riots, which cost an inflation-adjusted $1.2 billion. Much of that will be paid by taxpayers in the form of overtime and hazard pay for police and EMTs, emergency room visits, destruction of public property, and more. Of course, rioters are inflicting these costs during a time governments, and the people who fund them, have fewer resources due to coronavirus shutdowns and pent-up entitlement obligations.

“According to this record, rioting occurred in the United States this summer not just in Portland, New York City, Chicago, Washington DC, and other large U.S. cities, but in small and midsize cities such as Fort Collins, Co. (population 170,000), Cottonwood Heights, Utah (population 33,800), Gilbert, Ariz. (population 258,900), Wichita, Kan. (population 388,800), and Davenport, Iowa (population 382,600). Forty-seven states have seen riots this summer,” the Federalist added.

The voters sure haven’t been fooled by left’s proclamations that the riots have been “mostly peaceful.”

According to Rasmussen, three-out-of-four voters who have had riots in their community are leaning toward voting for Donald Trump.

Rasmussen polled people in communities where riots have occurred and found that people have about had enough.

Among those who have had violent protests in their community, even more (76%) rate them important to their vote, including 54% who say they are Very Important. Sixty-three percent (63%) of these voters Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing versus 35% who Strongly Disapprove.

It really should not surprise anyone.

Leader of Black Lives Matter Terror Group Partners with Chinese-Backed Group

A report finds that a group run by Black Lives Matter founder Alicia Garza has partnered with an anti-American group called the Chinese Progressive Association.

Published

on

The Black Futures Lab, a group run by Black Lives Matter founder Alicia Garza, has partnered with an anti-American group called the Chinese Progressive Association (CPA), an organization sponsored by the Chinese government whose task is to undermine the United States.

The relationship was discovered by the Heritage Foundation’s Mike Gonzalez who found that the Black Futures Lab is “a fiscally sponsored project of the Chinese Progressive Association.”

Gonzalez reported that the history of the CPA in the U.S. reaches out to sponsor American groups on behalf of the Chinese government, and has been praised by China’s government newspaper, China Daily.

“It is clear, then, that CPA works with China’s communist government, pushes its agenda here in the United States, and is regularly praised by China’s state-owned mouthpieces,” Gonzalez said in his report. “It is clear, too, from, this perspective, why the CPA would sponsor a new enterprise by Garza: They espouse the same desire for world communism.”

Per Gonzalez:

Garza sits atop a worldwide revolutionary empire, starting with the Black Lives Matter Global Network she founded, which now has 15 chapters in the U.S. and several more all over Canada, Australia, and Europe. As Foreign Affairs wrote in its September/October issue, “Today, BLM has a global network of dozens of chapters. This number will likely grow exponentially in the coming years.”

Garza is also behind the Movement for Black Lives, with its 50 domestic organizations. In July she said, “We helped to also pull together an ecosystem that was much broader than the organization that we founded, and that ecosystem is called the Movement for Black Lives and it is taking the world by storm.”

Thee Black Lives Matter group is openly anti-capitalist, and says on its website, “We are anti-capitalist. We believe and understand that Black people will never achieve liberation under the current global racialized capitalist system.”

Garza is openly taking money from our enemy, China, and working from within our country to destroy the United States of America.

Black Lives Matter is an openly seditious terror organization.

It really is just that simple.

City of Louisville Paying Family of Breonna Taylor $12 Million Settlement

The family of Breonna Taylor has agreed to accept a $12 million pay out from the City of Louisville after the woman was killed in a police-involved shooting.

Published

on

The family of Breonna Taylor has agreed to accept a $12 million pay out from the City of Louisville, Kentucky, after the woman was killed in a police-involved shooting in March.

The huge settlement also requires the city to implement police reforms.

According to Just The News:

The $12 million settlement is “the largest amount ever paid out for a black woman in a wrongful death killed by a police in America,” said attorney for the family Ben Crump in a news conference Tuesday afternoon.

“Regardless of this landmark step on the journey to justice,” continued Crump, “we still are demanding that Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron bring charges immediately against the police officers that murdered Breonna Taylor.”

Taylor was killed on March 13 when her boyfriend opened fire on police after they entered the couple’s apartment on a no-knock warrant looking for illegal drugs. Police returned fire after being fired upon and Taylor was struck and killed. One officer was shot in the incident by Taylor’s boyfriend, Kenneth Walker.

Walker’s attorneys say that the man fired on police because they broke down his door without announcing who they were and that he thought they are home invaders.

The Louisville Police have said that they were looking for two suspected drug dealers, Jamarcus Glover and Adrian Walker, who had listed the apartment as their home and were receiving mail there.

Indeed, as part of the raid, Glover was found at a second address and was arrested along with a stash of illegal drugs.

Regardless, neither Taylor nor Walker had any criminal history with illegal drugs and none were found in the apartment.

The officer who fired the rounds that killed Taylor, Brett Hankison, was fired after the incident and prosecutors are mulling further charges against him.

Walker has filed a lawsuit against the police department citing Kentucky’s “stand your ground” law.

University of Chicago English Dept. Says Students May ONLY Study Black Lives Matter

The University of Chicago’s English Dept. has announced that from now on students may only study Black Lives Matter topics.

Published

on

The University of Chicago’s English Dept. has announced that from now on students may only study Black Lives Matter topics.

The department recently released a notice to potential new students that they should be prepared to eschew real studies and exclusively take up the fake field they call “Black Studies.”

The notice appears on the university’s website.

The announcement to prospective students for the 2020 school year was posted by the faculty.

“For the 2020-2021 graduate admissions cycle, the University of Chicago English Department is accepting only applicants interested in working in and with Black Studies,” the faculty said.

Here is the full statement:

The English department at the University of Chicago believes that Black Lives Matter, and that the lives of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, and Rayshard Brooks matter, as do thousands of others named and unnamed who have been subject to police violence. As literary scholars, we attend to the histories, atmospheres, and scenes of anti-Black racism and racial violence in the United States and across the world. We are committed to the struggle of Black and Indigenous people, and all racialized and dispossessed people, against inequality and brutality.

For the 2020-2021 graduate admissions cycle, the University of Chicago English Department is accepting only applicants interested in working in and with Black Studies. We understand Black Studies to be a capacious intellectual project that spans a variety of methodological approaches, fields, geographical areas, languages, and time periods. For more information on faculty and current graduate students in this area, please visit our Black Studies page.

The department is invested in the study of African American, African, and African diaspora literature and media, as well as in the histories of political struggle, collective action, and protest that Black, Indigenous and other racialized peoples have pursued, both here in the United States and in solidarity with international movements. Together with students, we attend both to literature’s capacity to normalize violence and derive pleasure from its aesthetic expression, and ways to use the representation of that violence to reorganize how we address making and breaking life. Our commitment is not just to ideas in the abstract, but also to activating histories of engaged art, debate, struggle, collective action, and counterrevolution as contexts for the emergence of ideas and narratives.

English as a discipline has a long history of providing aesthetic rationalizations for colonization, exploitation, extraction, and anti-Blackness. Our discipline is responsible for developing hierarchies of cultural production that have contributed directly to social and systemic determinations of whose lives matter and why. And while inroads have been made in terms of acknowledging the centrality of both individual literary works and collective histories of racialized and colonized people, there is still much to do as a discipline and as a department to build a more inclusive and equitable field for describing, studying, and teaching the relationship between aesthetics, representation, inequality, and power.

In light of this historical reality, we believe that undoing persistent, recalcitrant anti-Blackness in our discipline and in our institutions must be the collective responsibility of all faculty, here and elsewhere. In support of this aim, we have been expanding our range of research and teaching through recent hiring, mentorship, and admissions initiatives that have enriched our department with a number of Black scholars and scholars of color who are innovating in the study of the global contours of anti-Blackness and in the equally global project of Black freedom. Our collective enrichment is also a collective debt; this department reaffirms the urgency of ensuring institutional and intellectual support for colleagues and students working in the Black studies tradition, alongside whom we continue to deepen our intellectual commitments to this tradition. As such, we believe all scholars have a responsibility to know the literatures of African American, African diasporic, and colonized peoples, regardless of area of specialization, as a core competence of the profession.

We acknowledge the university’s and our field’s complicated history with the South Side. While we draw intellectual inspiration from the work of writers deeply connected to Chicago’s south side, including Ida B. Wells, Gwendolyn Brooks, Lorraine Hansberry, and Richard Wright, we are also attuned to the way that the university has been a vehicle of intellectual and economic opportunity for some in the community, and a site of exclusion and violence for others. Part of our commitment to the struggle for Black lives entails vigorous participation in university-wide conversations and activism about the university’s past and present role in the historically Black neighborhood that houses it.

It’s such a shame that such a prestigious school is throwing away real academic studies for this made up flim flam.

The university’s English Dept. just devalued the degree of every member of the school.

POLL: Oregon Voters Done with ‘Protests’ Call Them ‘Mostly Violent Riots’

A poll shows that Oregon voters have about had it with the “protesters” and most now think they are “mostly violent rioters.”

Published

on

A poll shows that Oregon voters have about had it with the “protesters” and most now think they are “mostly violent rioters.”

According to the Post Millennial:

DHM Research, a Portland-based research firm, conducted a statewide study that that focused on voter opinions on the relentless protests that have continued in Oregon’s largest city for over 100 days since George Floyd’s death in May, causing millions of dollars in property damage and disturbing civilians in residential neighborhoods.

A split was evident throughout the poll among age and racial demographics. Rioters tend to skew younger and identify as BIPOC and LGBT.

Not only did most respondents feel that the protests have been mostly violent, but only 29 percent feel that the Portland police have used too much force.

“56 percent of Oregon voters believe that the Portland protests have been “mostly violent” while 36 percent think that the consecutive nights of rioting have been ‘mostly peaceful.’ 7 percent are unsure,” PM added.

Naturally, Democrats are far softer on the rioters. 57 percent feel that the protests have been “mostly peaceful.” Still, that isn’t such a great number. If democrats were so sure the protests were all that wonderful, that number should be closer to 80 percent. But if only just over half of Democrats are swallowing the “peaceful protests” line of pap, that shows that even many Democrats aren’t falling for the media’s lies on the matter.

Naturally, 83 percent of Republicans say that the “protests” are “mostly violent.” But one has to ask what is wrong with the brains of the other 17 percent?

Another stark number for the left is that 42 percent think the police haven’t been tough enough on the “protesters.” And another 18 percent said the reaction has been “about right.” Only 29 percent said that the police have acted badly. This is another loss for the left as it tries to blame the police for everything.

Post Millennial goes on to note several other findings, but in short, all the numbers are trending away from the left’s hoped for reactions.

Looks like Oregonians have just about had it with the Black Lives Matter terrorists.
