Mayor Pete Throws Serious Shade at Frontrunner Biden in Quip About Hunter and Ukraine

Are the 2020 top tier centrists going to be doing verbal battle all week?

Published

on

With just over a month remaining before our national political attention focuses on the Hawkeye State, candidates within the crowded Democratic field are all vying for a place within the top tier.

As of now, on New Year’s Eve, there are but four candidates who can really claim the honors of being in this upper echelon:  Former Vice President Joe Biden, Senators Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, and South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg.  The two Senators in the race are the progressive candidates, who both espouse varying degrees of socialist ideals.  Biden and Buttigieg, however, are the midwestern-courting centrists who believe that the key to beating Donald Trump is snatching up votes in the middle of the country – both literally and metaphorically.

Buttigieg, who has just now been anointed a contender by the mainstream media, has taken a fairly pointed shot at Biden this week, and it is turning heads on both sides of the aisle.

While speaking to the Associated Press on Monday, 2020 presidential candidate South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D) stated that he wouldn’t have wanted his son to serve on the board of a Ukrainian energy company the way fellow 2020 Democrat former Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter did, but that there hasn’t been any “wrongdoing” in the Biden case and that it is being used as a distraction.

Buttigieg said, “I would not have wanted to see that happen. And at the same time, again, I think this is being used to divert attention from what’s really at stake in the impeachment process. There’s been no allegation, let alone finding, of any kind of wrongdoing.”

Buttigieg would go on to reiterate his commitment to preventing conflicts of interest, again slightly digging at the former Vice President.

Trump Weighs in on Democrats’ Possible Plan to Replace Biden for 2020

The President exuded his signature confidence in assessing the possibility of facing someone other than the former veep.

Published

on

The Democratic Party has a bit of an embarrassing problem on their hands at the moment, and President Trump isn’t going to waste this opportunity to throw a light verbal jab their way on account of it.

You see, the liberal left wants no part of a Joe Biden nomination.  They see the former Vice President as too much of a centrist, for starters.  Then there’s the fact that he has been virtually MIA on the campaign trail as of late, emerging every so often to say that he doesn’t think he should have to participate in any more debates before being crowned the nominee.

On top of all that, Biden has now been credibly accused of sexual assault by a former staffer – a turn of events that the mainstream media seems to want no part of covering.

It’s likely thanks to all of this that there are serious rumors that Biden could be replaced by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on the 2020 tickets, perhaps during a contentious battle at the Democratic National Convention later this summer.

And President Trump seems to be actually encouraging this.

The president spoke about Cuomo and Biden during an interview with Fox and Friends on Monday morning.

Cuomo’s performance as governor of New York during the coronavirus crisis has boosted his approval ratings, prompting comparisons between him and Biden as leaders of the Democrat party. A new poll shows that 87 percent of New Yorkers now approve of Cuomo’s job performance, up from 44 percent in February.

“I think probably Andrew would be better,” Trump said when asked about Cuomo. “I’m telling you right now, you know, I want somebody in this country that’s going to do a great job.”

But the President certainly wasn’t worried about the prospect of facing the often-adversarial Empire State politician.

“I wouldn’t mind running against Andrew. I don’t mind running against Joe Biden.”

At this point, Trump may just be rooting for the Democrats to go ahead and choose someone so he can get on with his strategizing for the general election.

New Poll Shows Disastrous News For Biden

Published

on

A new poll from ABC News and the Washington Post shows disastrous news for Joe Biden but will greatly delight Trump supporters.

Registered voters opted for Biden by 49 percent over Trump’s 47 percent, the Washington Post-ABC News poll shows with President Trump closing a 7 percentage point gap from February as he responds to the coronavirus outbreak.

Washington Examiner:

We may be paying most of our attention to the coronavirus crisis, but the 2020 election continues nonetheless. In the race’s latest twist, a shock new poll from ABC News and the Washington Post spells very bad news for Joe Biden, yet it will delight supporters of President Trump.

The poll surveyed national support among registered voters, given the option of a head-to-head choice between Trump and Biden. It found that while the former vice president had a 7-point lead in February, that has since winnowed to 2 points, putting Trump and Biden at essentially a statistical tie among registered voters. This alone is a big boost for the president, but the poll’s specifics are even better news for Trump supporters.

In recent weeks, Biden has framed his campaign pitch against Trump simply, arguing that he would be better suited than the current Oval Office occupant to deal with a national crisis such as the pandemic and/or a recession that follows. But this poll suggests voters aren’t buying it.

Only 43% of voters say they would trust Biden more to handle the coronavirus, while 47% say they would trust Trump more to manage the crisis. And on the economic front, a whopping 52% of registered voters say they’d prefer Trump to manage the economy, with just 42% thinking Biden would do a better job on that front. More

The economy is going to take a huge hit with all this. The main question is how people will translate that at the ballot box. Do we need someone like President Trump who built it to heights to stay in there and rebuild again or the Democrats who are notoriously bad for it?

Joe Biden Accused of Sexual Assault — Accuser Breaks Silence

Joe Biden was accused of sexual assault last year. Now his accuser is speaking up with graphic details of her assault.

Published

Joe Biden was accused of sexual assault last year. Now his accuser is speaking up with graphic details of her assault.

Former Biden Senate staffer, Tara Reade, accused the former vice president of sexually inappropriate behavior when she worked for him back in 1993.

Reade has not spent much time revealing what she claims Biden did to her — at least until now. For instance, last April she told The Union that Biden constantly touched her inappropriately. He also made comments about her shapely legs and and when she refused his advances her career in his office was harmed, she said.

“My life was hell,” Reade told the paper last year. “This was about power and control. I couldn’t get a job on the Hill.” She left Biden’s office in August of ’93.

This, though, is about all she has said until now. This week, Reade spoke out and revealed more details about her accusations.

Reade spoke to Katie Halper recently to talk about her assault.

According to Newsone.com:

Reade described a graphic 1993 incident where a superior asked her to take a gym bag to Biden “down towards the capital.” Then she recalls being called towards the “side area” where Biden greeted her.

“We were alone and it was the strangest thing,” she said. “There was no like exchange really. He just had me up against the wall.”

Reade went on to say that she was wearing a business skirt with no stockings because it was hot at the time. While up against the wall, Reade says Biden’s “hands were on me and underneath my clothes.”

“He went down my skirt but then up inside it and he penetrated me with his fingers,” Reade emotionally continued.

Reade also said Biden was kissing her and saying multiple things to her. She remembered a couple of the comments.

“I remember him saying first, like as he was doing it, ‘Do you want to go somewhere else,’” she said. “And then him saying to me when I pulled away, he got finished doing what he was doing, and I kind of just pulled back and he said, ‘Come on man, I heard you liked me.’ And that phrase stayed with me because I kept thinking what I might’ve said and I can’t remember exactly if he said ‘i thought’ or ‘I heard’ but he implied that I had done this.”

Reade then went on to say that “everything shattered in that moment” because she knew that there were no witnesses and she looked up to him. “He was like my father’s age,” she said. “He was like this champion of women’s rights in my eyes and I couldn’t believe it was happening. It seemed surreal.”

Reade alleged that after all that Biden blithely said, “You’re fine” and walked away.

She added that Biden later threatened her and warned her not to repeat the story to anyone.

Joe Biden’s Sudden Wisdom: ‘Probably Best I Don’t Keep Talking’

I’m sure many young Democrats would agree with him.

Published

on

The Democratic Party is likely in a little bit of denial as of late.

You see, they’ve allowed former Vice President Joe Biden to become their presumptive 2020 presidential nominee while he’s in the midst of a gaffe-frenzy that has the party’s youth voting bloc jumping ship in droves.

Biden has been shouting ridiculous epithets at town hall attendees, calling one woman in the audience a “lying, dog-faced pony solider”.  That incident came just a few weeks after the former veep called another campaign event guest “fat” and “a damn liar”.

And just days ago Biden spouted some complete and utter gibberish in the general direction of The View.

It appears that ol’ Joe has finally started making some sense, however, mentioning to MSNBC’s Chris Wallace that he might need to stop talking so much.

When asked how he would handle the coronavirus pandemic if he wins the election, Biden said, “Way back in January 17 I wrote a piece, maybe the 15th. I wrote a piece for “USA Today” saying that, you know, a pandemic is coming. We have to be better prepared. We should have been in a position, I called for a while ago. I would enforce, enforce the defense production act. I would be surging equipment and personnel. I would be moving in a direction where we had the United States military, which I call for several weeks ago building hospitals like finally happening in the National Guard helping in New York with, you know, at the Javits Center. We have this capacity. Most of all, I would be protecting our docs, nurses, and first responders because if we lose them, we are in real, real trouble. We should be making those masks, moving on those ventilators. We can do that. Why doesn’t he just act like a president?”

Then came the tacit admission by the former West Wing resident.

Biden apologized, “That’s a stupid way to say that but I really –”

Wallace who had begun her next question said, “Donald Trump was asked on —”

Biden apologized again, “Sorry.”

Wallace said, “Go ahead.”

Biden said, “No. No. Probably best I don’t.”

I’m sure many young Democrats would agree with him.

Joe Biden Spouts Complete Gibberish on ‘The View’ Regarding COVID-19

This jumbled mess of verbiage did little to quell concerns about the septuagenarian’s mental acuity.

Published

on

For a great deal of the nation, the last thing on their mind is the 2020 election.  We’re in the midst of a war where united we stand, 6 feet apart.  Divided is okay, so long as it’s physically and not ideologically.

We need to all work on the same team, but remotely.  Without the internet, this would be a real problem:  Not only would information be far slower to travel to those in need, but we would have far fewer options for entertaining ourselves.

Still, there are some politicians out there, particularly those in the 2020 race for the White House, who seem to think that divisive politics are appropriate at a time like this.  Former Vice President Joe Biden is one such politician, who has spent what little time he has on the virtual campaign trail railing against incumbent President Donald Trump’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

But if you thought that perhaps Biden was some sort of expert on the field fo viral infections, you may want to take a look at the nonsense that came out of his mouth this week on The View.

Co-host Sara Haines asked, “We talked about Trump saying the government would reassess the wrecked period for keeping businesses shut and people at home. Are you at all concerned as Trump said that we cannot let the cure be worse than the problem itself?”

Biden responded, “We have to take care of the cure. That will make the problem worse, no matter what. No matter what. We know what has to be done. We know you have to— you’re tired of hearing the phrase, you got to flatten that curve where it’s going up like this, people getting it, and then it comes down. We got to flatten that curve, and we got to make sure that once, in fact, we have this under control, it doesn’t come back. So we should be focusing on getting all the help necessary in terms of testing, in terms of access to the gear that our first responders, our doctors, our nurses need in treating people.”

Biden’s campaign has been rife with this sort of bizarre verbiage.

Just weeks ago, Biden was caught on video calling a woman a “lying, dog-faced pony soldier” during one of his public appearances.

Biden Campaign Continues to Self Destruct with Embarrassing Teleprompter Fiasco

And this guy wants to be President?

Published

on

Joe Biden is his own worst enemy.

The former Vice President who is now running for the big gig has been largely considered the frontrunner in the 2020 Democratic race since his entry into the then-crowded field.  He’s thwarted many a foe, thanks in no small part to his might establishment backing, with only Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders to best now.  Sanders’ campaign has all but signaled defeat at this point, having gone so far as to suspend campaign advertising on Facebook.

But Biden is far from the perfect candidate, and the Democrats’ younger voting bloc has been loudly proclaiming this for months now.  They see Biden as not only a symbol of all that’s wrong with the political establishment, but also as an aging, perhaps ditzy figurehead.

His performance in front of a teleprompter this week wasn’t very reassuring, either.

The former vice president was detailing his plan to fight the coronavirus crisis, but appeared to lose track of his place on the teleprompter. Biden signaled to his staff that there was something wrong, before going off on an awkward ad-lib.

“And, in addition to that, in addition to that we have to make sure that we, we are in a position that we are, well met me go the second thing, I’ve spoken enough on that,” Biden said before going on to speak about the aggressive action he would like Trump to take under the Defense Production Act.

The former veep was almost immediately mocked on social media.

“Joe Biden when the teleprompter stops working is a train wreck,” social media strategist Caleb Hull wrote.

“What a disaster,” GOP spokesperson Elizabeth Harrington wrote. “Biden has had plenty of time to think about this, and he can’t even figure out what to say without help from a teleprompter.”

Biden has had some interesting performances on the campaign trail as of late, calling one woman a “lying, dog-faced pony soldier”, and telling a factory worker in Detroit that he was “full of s—“.

Leftist Billionaire Mike Bloomberg Threw Away $1 Billion on His Foolish Run for President

Arrogant leftist billionaire Michael Bloomberg reportedly threw away one billion dollars of his fortune with his foolhardy campaign for president.

Published

on

Arrogant leftist billionaire Michael Bloomberg reportedly threw away one billion dollars of his fortune with his foolhardy campaign for president, a report says.

Even dumber, Bloomberg may not be done yet pumping good dollars after wasted ones as the campaign for 2020 rolls into the coming second leg of the race.

According to FEC filings reported by the New York Post, the mini would-be dictator dumped a crapload of cash into the few measly months he was running for the Democrat nomination.

The total cost of the Big Apple billionaire’s fully self-funded campaign was a stunning $935,360,675.56, the filing made public Friday shows.

Unfortunately, this elfin loser is worth an estimated $65 billion, so that obscene waste was just a drop in the bucket for the man who has no real party ties to anyone and no philosophical principles other than giving himself ultimate power to tell Americans how to live.

So, what did this fool get out of his billion-dollar quest for the nomination?

He got five delegates from American Samoa on Super Tuesday. And that was all.

He closed the door on his wild goose chase that very week, but he did promise to sink even more of his considerable cash to help whoever wins the Democrat nomination.

Early this month, Bloomberg launched another political PAC to help Democrats beat Donald Trump.

“Mike will deliver on his commitment to beating Trump via a new independent expenditure effort, the name/budget/scope of which is to be determined,” a spokesman for the pint-sized tin pot said.
