Lawrence O'Donnell's Selective Mockery

Published

on

I have very little respect for any of the pundits on MSNBC–well, no, scratch that. I have zero respect for any of the pundits on MSNBC. But I will concede admiration for one of them, and that is Lawrence O’Donnell. Admiration, that is, for his openness about his beliefs.
To wit, O’Donnell said the following on November 5, 2010: “I am not a progressive. I am not a liberal who is so afraid of the word that I had to change my name to progressive. Liberals amuse me. I am a socialist.”
Most Democratic politicians today, and certainly all of O’Donnell’s fellow pundits on MSNBC, agree with him entirely but are too afraid to admit to it. They perfectly exemplify the famous quote of author and self-proclaimed socialist Upton Sinclair: “The American People will take Socialism, but they won’t take the label.”
Lawrence O’Donnell’s admission of his socialist beliefs is commendable, but that does not mean he is not a typical liberal media slug who employs a double standard when judging Democrats and Republicans. And that is what he did on his show Tuesday night.
Teasing the upcoming segment after the forthcoming commercials, O’Donnell, smiling wryly, said, “Coming up…one Republican whose strategy for dealing with Latino voters”–here he pauses to bask in sanctimony–“is to completely give up on them.”
When the show began again, O’Donnell showed a clip of the radio program of Tim Wildmon, President of American Family Radio, in which he stated, “I hate to be pessimistic for people who would be a Republican, but I just don’t see the Republicans being able to get any more percentage votes from Hispanics.”
Lawrence responds haughtily: “His strategy for dealing with the fastest-growing segment of the electorate is to completely give up on them!”
Well, no, that’s not at all what Wildmon said. He simply said he doesn’t see how Republicans will be able to get any more Hispanic voters than they did this past election, an issue that many Republican strategists are presently working to fix.
But semantics aside, I wonder if O’Donnell was equally smugly critical of President Obama, as reported by The Blaze:

“After they helped him get reelected earlier this month, President Barack Obama is asking his supporters to complete a post-election survey and identify themselves as part of a certain ‘constituency group.’ There are 22 groups to choose from, including African-Americans, Arab Americans, Latinos, Youth, LGBT, Women and even ‘People of faith.’ However, there are no choices available for ‘white’ or ‘Caucasian.’”

But I’m sure the ignoring of males, and particularly whites, the largest segment of America, induces in Lawrence O’Donnell the same sanctimonious chuckling as when he reported falsely that Tim Wildmon wants to write off Hispanic voters, right? Of course; otherwise that would signify some kind of bias or something.

119 Confederate Statues Have Been Destroyed as Liberals Move to Erase U.S. History

The anti-American left has succeeded in destroying 119 Confederate statues across the United States since the end of May, a report finds.

The anti-American left has succeeded in destroying 119 Confederate statues across the United States since the end of May, a report finds.

The domestic terror outfit, Black Lives Matter, has surged across the country causing like-minded city councils and left-wing-infested states to begin erasing U.S. history en masse. While the effort to whitewash history picked up speed since May with the police-involved death of Minneapolis man George Floyd, the move to dump statues has been going on at least since 2017.

According to a report at the Washington Times, 55 Confederate monuments were destroyed in 2017. Then, in 2018, another 34 were removed. In 2019 that number hit 21. But this year, 119 were eliminated.

“The removal of these Confederate symbols coincides with years of growth in support of racial justice and the BLM movement,” said Brian Ross, the senior data analyst for public records service, BeenVerified, the group that amassed the evidence.

The service also noted that 1,650 Confederate monuments still remain on display in public view.

South Carolina, Mississippi, Georgia and Alabama have removed the fewest such monuments. California and Maryland removed the most.

“The country seems to have reached a tipping point of self-examination, and one of the most visible symbols of the history of inequality and injustice against Black Americans are the Confederate monuments dotting the cities, towns and municipalities throughout the United States,” Ross added.

BeenVerified did not add statues to Christopher Columbus, though many of those have also been removed all across the country.

The paper also noted that most Americans are opposed to removing the statues.

“A majority of voters, 58%, in a Harvard CAPS/Harris poll released in June said the memorials should stay. Days earlier, though, another poll by Quinnipiac University showed that a majority, 52%, wanted to see them taken down from public spaces,” the Times wrote.

DC Comics Celebrates New ‘Wonder Woman’ Comic by… Making Her Morbidly Obese?

In a bid to ingratiate themselves with the Black Lives Matter movement, DC Comics has re-imagined Wonder Woman as a morbidly obese.

Published

In a bid to ingratiate themselves with the Black Lives Matter movement, DC Comics has re-imagined Wonder Woman as a morbidly obese, vaguely African American character in the cover art for its newest Wonder Woman 1984 comic book series.

The new series is supposed to coincide with Gal Gadot’s upcoming second movie outing as the titular character in, Wonder Woman 1984.

The nation’s second biggest comics company recently teamed up with Rooster Teeth comics and illustrator Robin Eisenberg, who drew one of the variant covers for the new comic book series. And DC said there’s only one word to describe it: “rad.”

The art depicts Wonder Woman as an overweight, vaguely black-looking woman in a pair of ripped mom jeans and a halter top with the Wonder Woman logo across it.

Maybe “gross” would be a better word.

Take a look:

What in the holy Amazon is that?

Wonder Woman is supposed to be an Amazon warrior who serves as a paragon of strength, beauty, virtue, and power. Not a 300-pound, fast-food addict!

The art received fanfare from many left-wingers, granted, but not everyone thought the comic cover portrayed the ideal Wonder Woman:

Is this morbidly obese slob what DC is encouraging young girls to aspire to emulate?

Antifa Tries To Stop Car, Attacks It, Then Follows Driver Home

The silent majority is officially PISSED OFF!!! Play stupid games win stupid prizes!!!!

Antifa pajama boy dropped his motorcycle in front of a pickup truck thinking it would stop the driver from escaping the mob. The driver wasn’t having any of it and proceeded to melt the motorcycle into a metallic sheen on the road.

I’m surprised the DA hasn’t charged the driver with theft of the motorcycle. I want to know what the city officials out there have to gain by sucking up to these terrorists? Most of them likely don’t vote, they are of no benefit to them. Anyone who stops you from traveling on a public roadway should be considered to be a threat to your safety and you should be able to take any defensive measure needed to remove yourself from the situation.

They followed him home:

Former MMA champion and Star Wars actress Gina Carano is refusing to buckle and bow to the woke cancel trolls who are mad at her for what they claim is a “racist tweet” that she posted.

The 38-year-old Mandalorian actress has now been called “racist” and a “bootlicker” for posting the famous WWII photo of a man refusing to give the Nazi salute. She is also being attacked for not showing enough support for the Black Lives Matter terrorist movement.

On Wednesday, #Ginacaranoisoverparty began trending on Twitter as hate-filled leftist began attacking the Deadpool actress.

Soon enough the woke mob went on the attack:

But the actress is no shrinking violet in the face of the woke mob. Carano went on the attack.

It’s good to see someone in Hollywood standing up to the liberal fascists for a change.

Oprah Says That ‘Whiteness’ Gives You An Advantage In America’s ‘Caste System’

Is that racist?

Oprah Says That ‘Whiteness’ Gives You An Advantage In America’s ‘Caste System’

In her new Apple TV+ series, Oprah Winfrey says being White ‘gives you an advantage no matter what.’

She says America has a “caste system” based on race and that white people are at the top: “There are white people who are not as powerful as the system of white people—the caste system that’s been put in place—but they still, no matter where they are on the rung, or the ladder of success, they still have their whiteness.”

Winfrey promoted the book Caste for her Book Club. It’s about racism and the “unspoken caste system that has shaped America.” She says that it’s full of “a-ha! moments.”

Fox News:

Oprah Winfrey discussed the advantages White Americans have over non-White communities in terms of reaching success on her new Apple TV+ series.

The media mogul had an in-depth discussion about climbing the ladder in corporate America on her new show “The Oprah Conversation.” Winfrey’s first episode featured an interview with former NFL player Emmanuel Acho. The episode’s title, “Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man: Part 1” is based on the former linebacker’s YouTube series and upcoming book of the same name.

Acho begins the episode with a statement to viewers, explaining that he believes in order for White people to understand systemic racism, it starts with having an understanding of the “full level of pain” Black citizens experience.

“I fervently believe that if the White person is your problem, only the White person can be your solution,” Acho said on-camera via The Washington Times. More

Is anyone else tired of being called a racist for no good reason? I’m white and I never had the breaks you’ve had Oprah. But I’ve worked hard and I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished. I refuse to apologize to you or anyone else for the life I alone have created.

She has the audacity to complain about whiteness while she indulges herself in luxury and an unprecedented quality of life. She’s an absolute ungrateful, blind, liberal who talks big but won’t act on her racist comments. What a hypocrite.

Tactical Nuke Used In Massive Beirut Explosion?

Published

on

A massive explosion that destroyed several city blocks rocked the port area of Beirut, Lebanon, on Tuesday killing dozens. The explosion shattered windows for several miles in the city and could be felt as far as Cyprus, hundreds of miles away.

Nearly 80 deaths have already been attributed to the explosion.

Lebanon’s Prime Minister, Hassan Diab, said that 2,750 tons of ammonium nitrate that had been stored for six years near the waterfront had accidentally ignited causing the explosion.

As a means of comparison, the fertilizer bomb Tim McVeigh used to destroy the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995 contained only 4,800 pounds of ammonium nitrate.

The massive red plume rising over the explosion’s epicenter hung over the city like the Red Horseman of the apocalypse.

Beirut, situated at the edge of the Mediterranean Sea near where Syria, Jordan, and Israel meet, has been wracked by internal strife for years, so many doubt the official explanation of the blast.

On Tuesday evening, President Donald Trump said that the explosion looked more like a “bomb of some kind” than it did a mere accident.

“According to them – they would know better than I would – but they seem to think it was an attack,” Trump said from the White House. “It was a bomb of some kind.”

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.

Pro-Trump Herschel Walker Slams Pro Sports For Supporting BLM

Herschel Walker: America wake up…if we love our Country, let’s speak up, stand up and protect it!

“For the first time in a long time, I stopped in the middle of my workout because last night I saw something that really, really disturbed me. I saw a bunch of people holding a BLM sign burning the Holy Bible. Burning the flag of the United States of America, also burning a cross. And I started thinking that NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB: is this the people you’re supporting right now? Is it the movement? Is it the organization? Because I don’t think that’s right.”

“Maybe, Washington: we cannot continue to sweep stuff underneath the rug, ’cause sooner or later we’re gonna stumble,” he continued. “People, are we being fooled?”

TDW:

On Sunday, upset by the scene in Portland where leftist activists burned Bibles, former NFL star and Heisman Trophy Winner Herschel Walker called out professional sports for supporting the Black Lives Matter movement, asserting, “I don’t think that’s right.”

Walker, who graduated his high school as the valedictorian and won the Heisman Trophy in 1982 to become the only player in NCAA history to finish in the top three in Heisman voting in all three of his collegiate seasons. More

Appearing on Fox News this weekend, Walker stated of people afraid to speak out: “You have so many people today afraid to speak out because of what they’ll be labeled as. I’ve been labeled as so many names; people have called me so many names. We’re fighting for America right now. We’re fighting for America. Do not be afraid to speak out for what is right. What is right is — we don’t defund the police. Let’s be real. If you want to win a Super Bowl, you don’t take money away from your team; what you do is go out and pay players more money to get a better team … you put more money in; you don’t take money out.”
