Impeachment Continues to Be a Cash Cow for RNC, Trump Reelection Campaign

This is no longer politics – it’s a sports rivalry on The Beltway.

Republicans have been working to frame the impeachment of Donald Trump as an act of desperate preservation by a Washington establishment who see the President as a threat to their crooked way of life…and it is working.

During this trying time for our nation, there doesn’t appear to be much solemn reflection going on.  Instead, it seems as though our political divide is growing larger, and those in either corner are simply being tempered in their beliefs.  Those who voted for President Trump are unlikely to say an ill word about him, and and those who didn’t are looking for any excuse they can to attack him.

This is not the way of a democratic republic – it’s a sports rivalry on Capitol Hill.

So it should come as no surprise that President Trump is reaping the benefits of this current animosity, as his base looks to bolster him in the face of such adversity.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) reached record fundraising numbers during the House Democrats’ partisan effort to impeach President Donald Trump, taking in $20.6 million in November, per Federal Election Commission (FEC) figures reported first by Fox News.

“Democrats’ baseless impeachment charade has only served to bolster our base and attract more voters to our cause and the result is another record-breaking fundraising month,” Ronna McDaniel, chairwoman of the RNC, said in a statement to Fox News. “President Trump’s policies made historic progress this month as well, with USMCA clearing another legislative hurdle, paid-family leave secured for federal employees, and 266,000 jobs added to the economy — all while Nancy Pelosi’s impeachment sham droned on.”

“Voters will make their voices heard by re-electing President Trump and voting for Republicans up and down the ballot in 2020,” the Republican official added.

The party said last month was the party’s best-ever November and have whopping $63.2 million in cash on hand.

This has been a trend among the RNC as of late, with Trump relishing in enormous fundraising totals that seem to coincide perfectly with the amplification of the attacks against him.

Northeastern Politician’s Supporters Said to Be Hounding Joe Biden About VP Slot

Joe Biden’s VP choice is undeniably a make-or-break decision for the Democratic Party.

Now that Joe Biden is officially the presumptive nominee, (what a ridiculous set of words that was), the most important day of his campaign is now looming directly ahead of him.

Soon the former Vice President will himself be forced to choose a running mate, in what is perhaps the most impactful selection of its kind since at least LBJ.  You see, Biden is not a terribly popular candidate among the young Democrats, who in 2016 abandoned the party after they were force-fed Hillary Clinton as a nominee.  The same thing appears to be happening here, and the only trick that Biden has left up his sleeve is a VP nod that brings the younglings back into mix.

Now, one familiar face from The Big Apple is throwing his proverbial hat in the figurative ring.

Besides speculation of a last-minute Cuomo White House bid – which may be far-fetched – there’s also some talk of [New York Governor Andrew] Cuomo being considered to join all-but-certain nominee Joe Biden on the Democratic ticket. The New York Post reported this past weekend that supporters of the governor are regularly talking up Cuomo, touting his leadership skills and appeal to Biden bundlers.

A Democratic strategist with ties to Cuomo’s inner circle, who asked to remain anonymous to speak more freely, told Fox News that the governor still has “national aspirations.”

But, there are only a few problems with these rumors:

But there’s one obvious problem: Biden’s public pledge to name a female running mate. This pledge instantly disqualifies Cuomo and any other potential male contenders, unless Biden were to reconsider.

Cuomo also publicly shot down the idea of being the vice presidential nominee, telling Albany radio host Alan Chartock recently, “I don’t want to be the vice president.”

Of course, a few minor facts won’t stop these sorts of rumors from flying, especially with a Democratic Party acting as desperately as they have already.

Bernie Drops Out, Signaling Likely Landslide Victory for Trump in November

Bernie has again left the door open for a Trump victory.  The only question now is how large the landslide will be.

Incumbent President Donald Trump can go ahead and order the confetti for his reelection party.

The Democratic Party has blown it again in 2020, much like they did all the way back in the ancient history of 2016.  They rallied behind a robotic establishment talking head despite the clear and voluminous warnings from the radical youth that they would not be voting for such a candidate.  No matter what.

In 2016, it was Hillary Clinton.  In 2020, it’s Joe Biden.  In both contests, Bernie Sanders was that last man standing in their way.

Sen. Bernie Sanders ended his presidential campaign, he announced on Wednesday, leaving former Vice President Joe Biden as the apparent Democratic presidential nominee.

“I have concluded that this battle for the Democratic nomination will not be successful, and so today I am announcing the suspension of my campaign,” Sanders told supporters in a livestream, saying he wished he could provide supporters with “better news” but “I think you know the truth.”

“We are now some 300 delegates behind Vice President Biden and the path to victory is virtually impossible,” he said. Sanders, I-Vt., called Biden “a very decent man who I will work with to move our progressive ideas forward.”

Calling the decision “difficult and painful,” Sanders said he had to make an “honest assessment of the prospects for victory.”

Now, once again with a vast chunk of the Democratic Party’s voting base declaring Biden and unfit nominee, the left will be struggling mightily against President Trump and the GOP’s vast resources and galvanized support system.

Bernie has again left the door open for a Trump victory.  The only question now is how large the landslide will be.

Trump Maintains 51% Approval During Coronavirus Despite Media’s Constant Attacks

Trump is enjoying some of the highest approval ratings he has ever had during this coronavirus crisis despite the media’s daily attempt to destroy him.

President Trump is enjoying some of the highest approval ratings he has ever had during this coronavirus crisis despite the media’s daily attempts to destroy him.

The latest Zogby Analytics survey finds the president with a 51 percent approval rating.

This rating is the number that analysts always say is needed for a politician to get re-elected. Those under 50 percent approval are often considered “underwater,” and unlikely to be re-elected.

The same poll also found his ratings improving among Millennials and black voters, too.

Still, even though few are ready to blame Trump for the coronavirus crisis, the poll did find that 52 percent disapprove of how Trump is handling the outbreak. 42 percent approve of his actions during the crisis.

However, this is pretty amazing since the media does nothing but tear down every move Trump makes concerning the coronavirus. The media attacks Trump every single hour of every single day, yet his ratings are not crashing at all.

“It might make the mainstream media and his detractors scream, but to his supporters and almost half the country, he is producing results,” Zogby said of the president’s actions over the last few months.

In fact, Zogby found Trump is winning respect for his work fighting the spread.

“He is also speaking honestly when he says we cannot stay in lockdown forever. It might not be what we ultimately do, or the right thing, but he’s being honest that life will have to go back to a semblance of normality in the future. It might not be reality but it’s comforting to some people in this moment of unpredictability,” he said.

The president’s numbers are rising among blacks, too. The survey added: “Trump’s numbers continue to improve with African American voters; his current job approval rating is 36% at least somewhat approve/63% at least somewhat disapprove.”

Here is the survey’s bottom line:

Despite cries that Donald Trump has not taken the coronavirus pandemic seriously, or waited too long to act swiftly before the virus spread, voters still believe he is doing a good job. He has shown a tremendous amount of energy during a difficult crisis. When it comes to President Trump certain things must be separated—primarily his personality, rhetoric and his actions. Can the argument be made the government wasn’t prepared, didn’t have the right amount of supplies, or was unable to come up with a sound plan to make available millions of test kits, the answer is yes! But at the same time, the president heeded the advice of his task force, worked with Congress to pass the biggest stimulus bill ever (The CARES Act), and provided aid to multiple states that were hit hardest by the crisis.

Hollywood Funnyman Blasts President Trump and Bernie Sanders in Same Interview

We didn’t see this one coming.

Over the course of the last few decades, and coinciding with the advent of social media, we have discovered that the Hollywood ethos is fairly well entrenched on the left side of the aisle.

There are no shortage of ultra liberal Tinsel Town stars who are willing, nay, begging to grab some attention by way of their political opinions – despite the fact that a great majority of these actors and actresses have no governmental or community experience whatsoever.  They are in, instead, merely regurgitating and amplifying whatever opinions that sit well with them, after having been handed those opinions elsewhere online or via the cable news.

But, in a surprising twist this week, funnyman Larry David has taken to the media to not only insult the President, but to also throw shade at Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders for not yet conceding the 2020 Democratic primary.

In a recent interview, Larry David bashed President Trump’s response to the coronavirus and called for 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders to drop out of the race.

The 72-year-old comedian poked fun at the two political rivals during a recent interview with The New York Times in which he was willing to share his unfiltered thoughts about the current political landscape amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

“That’s the hardest thing about the day, watching what comes out of this guy’s mouth,” he said of the president’s daily press briefings on the coronavirus. “It turns you into a maniac because you’re yelling at the television. All of a sudden, you find yourself screaming, like I used to do on the streets of New York, pre-‘Seinfeld,’ when I saw happy couples on the street.”

Then came the surprising part:

Although he’s friendly with Sanders, he admits that he believes his 2020 candidacy has run its course.

“I feel he should drop out,” David said. “Because he’s too far behind. He can’t get the nomination. And I think, you know, it’s no time to fool around here. Everybody’s got to support Biden.”

Larry David has repeatedly appeared on television variety show Saturday Night Live to play the part of Sanders, making the recent comment all the more surreal.

Bernie Sanders Floats Conspiracy Theory: Trump Won’t Leave Office If He Loses

Camp Bernie’s pot of paranoia has spilled out into the mainstream this week.

Bernie Sanders’ glut of young supporters don’t need much prodding to start looking for evidence of a conspiracy theory against the Vermont Senator, especially after their worst fears came true during the 2016 primary election.

In the aftermath of that particular contest it was discovered that Hillary Clinton had colluded with the DNC in order to essentially rig the primaries against Bernie.  This sin is something that the young Democratic voters aren’t likely to let slide, at least not anytime soon.

During this 2020 election, the Bernie Bros have been hyper-vigilant regarding the machinations of the Democratic Party, worried still that some plan is afoot to railroad the nomination back into the hands of the centrist establishment.  Back into the Dem’s deep state.

Now it appears as though Bernie is dabbling in conspiracy theories directly, but this time the nonsensical narrative involves the Commander in Chief.

From his appearance on Real Time with Bill Maher:

Sanders responded to a question from host Bill Maher on what he’ll do if President Trump won’t leave office if he loses by stating that you have to mobilize voters.

He added, “So, you know, what you’re describing is a nightmarish scenario with regard to democracy in America. Do I think you’re crazy and off-the-wall? I suspect not.”

This isn’t the first time that the mainstream media has aired this sort of speculation, as the tyrant trope simply plays better with fiction-obsessed members of the “resistance”.

Joe Biden Makes Wild Prediction About 2020 Democratic Convention

And what sort of wild ideas will this conjure among Bernie Sanders’ supporters?

Believe it or not, there is still a 2020 presidential race happening, just below the surface of this smothering coronavirus monopoly on headlines.

As one would imagine, the race itself has been pretty quiet.  There are no physical rallies to attend or report on, given that the very nature of a rally is the anthesis to social distancing.  President Trump is getting his campaign messages across during his daily virus task force briefings.  He certainly isn’t hurting for exposure any way.

On the Democratic side, Bernie Sanders has all but extinguished his campaign.  He is using his time and resources to spread information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic instead, effectively sealing Joe Biden’s reputation as the presumptive nominee.

But this virus crisis is far from over, and Sanders doesn’t plan on stepping aside anytime soon.  That’s why Joe Biden thinks that a drastic move may be coming from the DNC.

Former Vice President Joe Biden thinks that the date of the Democratic National Convention will be pushed back a month to August, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“I doubt whether the Democratic Convention is going to be able to be held in mid-July, early July. I think it’s going to have to move into August,” the all-but-certain Democratic presidential nominee said Wednesday night in an interview with Jimmy Fallon on NBC’s “The Tonight Show.”

Biden pointed out that “even then, the Republican and Democratic Convention, we’re going to have to … we just have to be prepared for the alternative and the alternative.”

Supporters of Bernie Sanders will undoubtedly find some vast conspiracy hidden within this possible plan, further dividing the Democratic Party at a very crucial time in the election cycle.
