ICE Agents Arrested Thousands Of Sexual Predators In 2019

This is going largely unnoticed by the MSM.

ICE Agents Arrested Thousands Of Sexual Predators In 2019

Homeland Security Investigations agents made 3,771 criminal arrests relating to child exploitation in the fiscal year 2019, marking an 18% rise from the previous fiscal year.

FAIRFAX, Virginia — Immigration and Customs Enforcement revealed Thursday that it arrested well over 3,700 sexual predators in the past fiscal year, as the agency’s announcement coincided with its grand opening of a facility dedicated to monitoring convicted sexual predators traveling internationally.

Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the investigative unit of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), announced it initiated 4,224 child exploitation cases during the 2019 fiscal year, which began in October 2018 and concluded at the end of September. Those cases led to a total of 3,771 criminal arrests, and the identification or rescue of 1,066 victims.

The numbers reflected a significant uptick — 18% — from the previous fiscal year. It’s a result, HSI contended, of its commitment to ending crimes against children.

“HSI’s agents, in cooperation with our law enforcement partners, work tirelessly to find and bring to justice, individuals who commit these heinous crimes,” acting special agent in charge of HSI Seattle Eben Roberts said in a prepared statement. “Moreover, we are dedicated to rescuing from harm’s way our most precious population — our children — and those who seek to harm them should consider this a warning.” More

On Thursday, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at HSI’s new Angel Watch Center in Fairfax, Virginia. As part of the ceremony, ICE Acting Director Matthew Albence explained that HSI special agents initiated more than 4,200 child exploitation cases in the fiscal year 2019, resulting in approximately 3,771 criminal arrests, an increase of 18 percent compared to the fiscal year 2018.

“ICE’s Operation Angel Watch plays a crucial role in the global fight against child sex tourism. Under this unique and innovative initiative, we are able to send actionable information to our law enforcement partners around the globe so that they can assess the situation and respond appropriately, whether that is to deny an individual entry into their country, or to monitor that individual’s travel for potential danger to children,” said ICE Director Sarah R. Saldaña. “The creation of a formalized and expanded Angel Watch Center further enhances our efforts to protect children around the world.”

Joe Biden’s Top Latina Advisor Quits in Disgust

In another sign that former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign is in trouble, his top Latino advisor quit his campaign.

In another sign that former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign is in trouble, his top Latino advisor just quit his campaign.

National Coalitions Director Vanessa Cárdenas is now telling followers that she was, “formerly with @joebiden,” Politico reported.

Cárdenas’s departure comes amid increased criticism from Hispanics of the former VP’s campaign.

One issue Hispanics are upset about is Biden’s refusal to commit to put a stop to all deportations like other Democrat candidates have.

“I will not stop all deportations. If you have a, if you commit a crime, that’s a felony,” Biden said recently in Greenwood, South Carolina.

Biden asked the protester who sparked the comment what they would do with illegal aliens who are murderers.

One activist complained that the Biden campaign is too worried about white voters.

“The campaign is just hyper-focused on whites in Iowa and African-Americans and it placed less value on Latino outreach,” the immigration activist told Politico.

An activist also explained that Cárdenas was fighting a losing battle.

“Vanessa kept banging her head against the wall trying to get them to take the community more seriously,” the person said. “And Biden just really won’t change when it comes to the way he talks about immigration. It became too much.”

In other news, some reports noted that Biden’s campaign is slipping bit by bit. His once frontrunner status has faded in many regions, and some accounts say he is running out of resources for a national campaign.

How A Massachusetts Judge Allegedly Helped An Illegal Alien Escape ICE: ‘It Was Clearly Criminal’

Our country can’t afford judges who refuse to uphold our laws.

How A Massachusetts Judge Allegedly Helped An Illegal Alien Escape ICE: ‘It Was Clearly Criminal’

Judge Shelley Joseph has been charged with obstruction of justice standing accused of helping an undocumented immigrant escape detention.

A Massachusetts judge is accused of helping an illegal immigrant, who was deported twice, evade ICE. Now she’s learning that she’s not above the law.

Daily Caller:

A Massachusetts judge, indicted for allegedly helping sneak an illegal alien out of a courtroom in order to avoid an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent, is opting to fight the charges instead of accepting a plea deal.

Federal prosecutors charged Shelley Joseph, a Newton District Court judge, with obstruction of justice in April for allegedly helping an illegal alien sneak through the backdoor of a courthouse, allowing him to evade an ICE officer who was waiting to apprehend him. Instead of taking a plea deal that would allow her to avoid prosecution, Joseph is preparing to go to trial.

The case has divided many in the Massachusetts legal community and has become a symbol of the growing tension between federal immigration authorities and local officials in liberal enclaves. Massachusetts has aggressively fought to restrict ICE’s ability to enforce immigration law in recent, a backlash against the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration.

The prosecution, nonetheless, is arguing that Joseph’s actions clearly broke the law.

“We’ve heard rumors of, you know, judges doing this or that, I don’t want to identify them, but this was the first time we have come across an instance where, one, as alleged in the indictment, we thought it was clearly criminal, and two, we think we can prove it,” the U.S. attorney for Massachusetts, Andrew Lelling, told WGBH radio, The New York Times reported. More

I’m absolutely floored by this. Even if you’re completely in agreement with sanctuary cities and unchecked immigration, you have to realize that having judges actively help defendants escape detention at their own discretion opens the gates to the demise of our judicial system.

You don’t need to be a legal expert to know this. It doesn’t matter which ideological spectrum you’re on. This is entirely wrong with serious ramifications.

Supreme Court to Hear Case On Obama Dreamer Program

The U.S. Supreme court is set to hear a case on the constitutionality of Barack Obama’s Dreamer program that allows the children of illegals.

The U.S. Supreme court is set to hear a case on the constitutionality of Barack Obama’s Dreamer program that allows the children of illegals to stay in the U.S. legally.

Since Donald Trump became president, his administration has repeatedly tried to cancel Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program so that he can fully implement the immigration programs that he promised to put into place when he ran for the White House.

Liberal courts have repeatedly refused to allow Trump to cancel the program that was merely a previous administration’s policy.

Obama created the illegal alien-coddling policy by a presidential Executive Order. One would think a succeeding president could write another one to repeal it.

So, the Trump administration is taking the case to the nation’s highest court.

“The administration has basically chalked up the fact that they are going to lose a lot of these cases in the lower courts,” appellate attorney Thomas Dupree said according to Fox News.

“But they’re playing the long game,” Dupree said. “I think that there are those in the White House and the Justice Department who have made a calculation saying, ‘Look we can absorb all these losses in the lower courts because we are going to win the endgame when this case gets into the Supreme Court.’”

Early in 2017, Trump issued his own EO eliminating the program. But immediately his administration was best by a number of nuisance lawsuits by supporters of lawbreaking illegals.

The Trump administration maintains that the DACA program is illegal and needs to be canceled. At least 12 states also support the administration’s attempts to eliminate the program.

Fox noted that the consolidated cases are DHS v. Regents of the University of California (18-587); Trump v. NAACP (18-588); and McAlleenan v. Vidal (18-589). A ruling is expected just ahead of the elections in June 2020.

Even in Blue New Jersey Voters Turning Against ‘Sanctuary City’ Rules

One surprising outcome of the 2019 election this week was seen in deep Democrat New Jersey where voters turned against so-called “sanctuary city” rules.

One surprising outcome of the 2019 election this week was seen in deep Democrat New Jersey where voters turned against so-called “sanctuary city” rules, and Repubicans made gains for the first time in more than a decade.

A backlash to left-wing immigration policies drove voters in several Garden State counties to reject the liberal ideas and to hew closer to President Donald Trump’s immigration policies, according to the New York Times.

Immigration issues also seem to have aided in getting several Republicans elected to the state legislature in elections that turned Democrats out of office.

In one case, voters in Sussex County voted 2 to 1 to require county police officers to work with federal immigration officials. In other words, voters voted against sanctuary policies that would protect criminal illegals from deportation.

In other areas of the state, officials in two counties have filed lawsuits against the state over the state attorney general’s rules that prohibits police officers from working with ICE officials. A third county is contemplating a similar lawsuit.

Also, in areas including parts of Cape May, Cumberland, and Atlantic Counties, Republicans ousted Democrats on Election Day in large part because residents were sick of the left-wing immigration policies Democrats have forced onto the state.

Immigration policies seem to have been a major factor in New Jersey this year:

“It was a rallying cry,” said Antwan McClellan, a Republican elected on Tuesday to the Assembly who works as the personnel director and assistant to the Cape May County sheriff. “People were concerned about their safety.” The sheriff filed one of the lawsuits against the attorney general.

He is being represented in the suit by another victorious Republican, Michael Testa Jr., a chairman of Mr. Trump’s re-election effort in New Jersey, who won a Senate seat that had been held by Representative Jeff Van Drew, one of only two House Democrats to oppose a resolution laying out rules for an impeachment inquiry.

Tellingly, even the New York Time found a number of immigrants who came to the U.S. the legal way who joined the backlash against the mollycoddling of illegal aliens.

According to Politico, New Jersey Democrats lost three legislative seats to GOP candidates despite outspending the Republicans by $2 million. It was the first time the GOP has gained seats in Trenton since 2007.

Immigration was not the only thing driving Republicans to the polls, either. Democrat Gov. Phil Murphy has become unpopular for his massive tax hikes implemented so he could spend money on his extremist, left-wing policies.

First-Time Border Wall Construction Begins in Texas in Trump Promise Fulfilled

Construction on brand new border wall barriers has begun along the Rio Grande River in Texas marking another promise kept by the Trump administration.

Construction on brand new border wall barriers has begun along the Rio Grande River in Texas marking another promise kept by the Trump administration.

Trump has already built 75 miles of new walls, but to date all that construction has been in areas that replaced dilapidated barriers, or barriers that were purposefully made to be ineffective.

President Trump promised to start building new border walls on our southern border and the Democrats have worked for three years to stop any progress. But Trump has prevailed, anyway, and has set in place miles and miles of new barriers. And now he has started new construction in Texas, right where illegal crossings are worst.

The new barrier is under construction southeast of McAllen in Texas’s Rio Grande Valley sector.

According to Customs and Border Protection (CBP) this region sees the most illegal crossings of any border sector, and more than 325,000 people were apprehended there through August.

“Rio Grande Valley is by far our busiest sector, so getting this new wall system capability down there for [the agents] is truly a game-changer,” a CBP spokesman said. “Just last week, the agents on the frontlines told us the wall is something they need.”

The previous construction was only built by the Obama administration to prevent vehicle traffic, but the sparse barriers did not prevent foot traffic at all.

The new wall changed that, CBP said.

“People can walk through or across a vehicle barrier with drugs or other contraband but can’t walk through an 18- to 30-foot wall with anti-climb features, sensors and cameras,” CBP said.

Fox News added:

… wall advocates are excited that the project is advancing and note that illegal crossings are falling dramatically from summer peaks, in part due to Mexico stepping up enforcement of its borders and in part thanks to renovated wall sections.

“They’re making progress,” Mark Krikorian, the executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies, told Fox News. “They desperately need more barriers down there because that’s one of the main places people are crossing.”

The federal government plans to put 100 miles of new wall n the Rio Grande area.

“By the end of 2020, the agency aims to have completed 141 miles of brand-new wall and 24 miles of new levee wall, along with 273 miles of replacement wall, for a total of more than 400 miles of border barriers. Seventy-one miles would also receive a second wall for extra security,” Fox noted.

ICE Reports Hundreds of Migrants Lying that Children with Them Are Family

The U.S. government has identified hundreds of migrants who they say have lied about the children they are trying to smuggle into the U.S.A.

The U.S. government has identified hundreds of migrants who they say have lied about the children they are trying to smuggle into the U.S.A.

According to reports, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) have reported discovering hundreds of illegal immigrants who lied when saying that the children they brought over our borders were actually their own family members.

ICE reported in a press release that they have detained and identified 200 “fraudulent families” in just the last six months alone.

The effort to determine true familial relationships of illegals claiming to be bringing their own children across thousands of miles of treacherous terrain, and dangerous conditions have netted hundreds of criminals trying to smuggle kids into the U.S.A. for unknown purposes.

ICE reports discovering:

-238 fraudulent families identified

-329 false documents seized that were used to support fraudulent claims

-more than 350 individuals federally prosecuted for various crimes, including human smuggling, making false statements, conspiracy, and illegal re-entry after removal

-50 individuals identified who have fraudulently claimed to be unaccompanied minors.

ICE also reports that many of these children were taken by human traffickers.

Some of the most disturbing cases identified involve transnational criminal organizations (TCOs) and individuals who are increasingly exploiting innocent children to further their criminal activity. Investigations indicate that TCOs and individuals have entered into schemes with biological parents to dangerously transfer their children – ranging in age from 4 months to 16 years – to unrelated adults so they can pose as family units to further their human smuggling criminal enterprises and/or fraudulently obtain U.S. immigration benefits.

“These children are being dangerously used as pawns by criminals to take advantage of loopholes in our immigration laws and avoid being detained by U.S. immigration authorities,” said Jack P. Staton, special agent in charge of HSI El Paso. “HSI and Border Patrol will continue to protect children from being smuggled, as well as aggressively target, identify and stop criminal organizations from generating false documents and exploiting innocent children.”

ICE also discovered dozens of illegals over the age of 18 who were being passed off as children under the legal age of consent.

“These are examples of the dark side of this humanitarian crisis that our Border Patrol and HSI agents are working tirelessly to identify,” said El Paso Sector Interim Chief Gloria I. Chavez. “We will pursue the highest of judicial consequences for those who commit fraud and exploit innocent children.”

Florida Court Rules Law Enforcement MUST Assist Immigration — Officials Who Refuse Will Be Removed

A Florida court has ruled that state law enforcement officers are required to cooperate with U.S. immigration officials and those who obstruct that cooperation can even be removed from office.

On Monday, Miami U.S. District Court Judge Beth Bloom upheld most of SB 168, a recent state law on Monday that is just about to go into effect, according to Law Enforcement Today.

Not only does SB 168 ban any local municipality from declaring themselves a “sanctuary city,” it also requires law enforcement to hold illegals for an additional 48 hours to give Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) time to pick up those on deportation orders.

Still, the judge did strike down one part of the new law.

Bloom shut down the rule that would require state law enforcement officials to transport illegals across state lines if ICE officials asked them to do so.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed the bill into law last June. But the left lined up in opposition right away.

Liberal politicians in some of Florida’s cities were furious at the law. The liberal mayor of South Miami, Philip Stoddard, immediately filed a lawsuit against the state to stop the law.

Looks like Stoddard and his liberal pals lost.

Stoddard was utterly shocked by the judge’s ruling. “It’s ridiculous,” Stoddard blurted out. “It’s putting immigration enforcement above public safety.”

Stoddard went on to mischaracterize what ICE even does: “This means if ICE tells you to drop everything, patrol, protection of schools, criminal investigations, you have to go play Cowboys and Indians with ICE. Local law enforcement is secondary to immigration enforcement.”

This is blatantly untrue. That is not how ICE operates. Ever.
