Harris Campaign Nearly Kaput After New Polling Numbers in New Hampshire

Harris has shown no signs of possibly bowing out of the race anytime soon, despite it becoming fairly obvious that she has no need to continue.

As the Democrats continue down the winding and ever crowded path to the 2020 election, the time for brevity and efficiency grows ever nearer.  The sheer number of candidates still vying for the nomination is untenable, and has been for some time, leading many to believe that a mass culling is on the horizon.

There are less than a handful of candidates remaining who truly have any shot at securing the nomination and, despite all of the previous hype surrounding her candidacy, Senator Kamala Harris is no longer one of them.

A new poll from one of the most important early-voting states has fairly well sealed her fate this week.

The RealClearPolitics average of New Hampshire polls similarly shows a tight race: Biden and Warren are tied at 19.7 percent, Sanders is at 19.0 percent, and Buttigieg is at 11.3 percent.

As for the bottom-tier, Quinnipiac finds Kamala Harris posting her worst polling result of 2019 in New Hampshire a couple weeks after the California senator fired her campaign staff and closed campaign offices in the state in order to redirect her diminishing resources to Iowa.

Meanwhile, Tulsi Gabbard is showing a pulse at 6 percent in the Quinnipiac poll (the Hawaii congresswoman has the support of 10 percent of independents but only 1 percent of Democrats who intend to vote in the primary):

Gabbard 6

Yang 4

Klobuchar 3

Steyer 3

Bennet 1

Booker 1

Harris 1

Harris began the race as a fiery and prominent candidate who relied on her ability to draw race into the conversation in order to score political points.  This ethnically-charged angle was certainly not sustainable, however, and Harris quickly fell out of favor, as we see here.

There has been no indication from Harris or her campaign that the Senator will dropping out of the race anytime soon, despite this clear and obvious sign that her presence is no longer a contribution to the conversation.

Warren Continues Onslaught Against Bloomberg Long After Debate Ends

The Massachusetts Senator was relentless.

Wednesday Night’s presidential debate out in the Nevada desert was one for the books, and it began with a bang.

Not long into the televised event which precedes a near-certain victory for Bernie Sanders in the Silver State caucuses, Elizabeth Warren made it very clear who was going to lose the debate:  Mike Bloomberg.

The former Mayor of New York City was put onto his heels by Warren almost immediately, who slammed the Big Apple billionaire for his similarities to Donald Trump, his attempt to buy the nomination, and the slew of NDA’s his companies purportedly use to hide his inappropriate sexual behavior.

And if you thought that this angst from the Massachusetts Senator was all for show, think again.  Warren continued her tirade long after the cameras stopped rolling.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren on Thursday picked up where she left off hours earlier at the Democratic presidential nomination debate, showing no mercy as she fired away at 2020 rival Mike Bloomberg.

The progressive senator from Massachusetts vowed that the former New York City mayor and multibillionaire is “not going to be our candidate for president of the United States of America.”

Speaking the day after Wednesday night’s showdown – when Warren repeatedly slammed Bloomberg over his treatment of women and his controversial policing practice of “stop and frisk” during his tenure as New York City’s mayor – the populist candidate told supporters at a campaign field office that “you know what, last night was a lot of fun.”

There was no mistaking her objective, either.

The senator claimed that Bloomberg – with his track record – would be a disastrous nominee for the Democrats to take on President Trump in November’s general election, saying, “He is the riskiest one for the Democrats. He would [be the] most vulnerable in a general election.”

And explaining why she launched a full-scale attack on Bloomberg, Warren told reporters that “last night it was my job to make sure America got a little closer look at Mayor Bloomberg.”

Bloomberg has had a target on his back for days, as his recent rise in the polls comes as former Vice President Joe Biden continues to slip further into obscurity in the 2020 race.

Warren, along fellow radical candidate Bernie Sanders, are attempting to remake the Democratic Party in their likeness, and the centrism of Bloomberg and Biden just isn’t going to cut it.

President Trump Already Triumphant – ‘Doesn’t Care’ Who the Democrats Nominate

Hard to argue with that logic.

Well how’s that for confidence?

President Trump certainly isn’t shy when it comes to talking about his accomplishments, and this sort of bombastic bragging is precisely what the American people wanted out of their President back in 2016.  It was the antithesis to Obama’s perceived bowing and kowtowing to the rest of the world, and an appropriate pendulum swing back in the direction of American exceptionalism.

With the 2020 election fast approaching, that signature bombast of President Trump’s is on full display.

President Donald Trump told his supporters at a rally on Wednesday that the DNC is going to take the nomination away from Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) again. The president added that it won’t matter “who the hell [the Democrat nominee] is” because “we’re gonna win.”

“They just came out with a poll a little while ago,” said President Trump. “Mini Mike was at 15, and Crazy Bernie was at 31. That’s a lot. And Mini Mike just spent $500 million, but, the DNC is going to take it away from Bernie again.”

“And that’s okay,” the president added, “because we don’t care who the hell it is, we’re gonna win. We have to.”

Trump’s comments about Bernie Sanders stick out as a bit of “4D chess” as well.

You see, Sanders’ supporters are already convinced that just such a conspiracy exists against their candidate, thus putting the DNC in the difficult spot of being both unable to rig the primary, and unwilling to throw their support behind Sanders in the general election.  Trump is likely secretly dreaming about facing Bernie in November, seeing as a “socialism versus capitalism” election will almost always fall in Trump’s favor.

Trump ties the DNC’s hands, Bernie gets nominated, Trump wins in a landslide.  It’s that easy.

As Bloomberg Blasts Bernie, Vermont Senator Turns Shy on Health Records

Bernie should be on a diet after a recent heart attack, but he’s still trying to have his cake and eat it too.

At one point in not-so-recent history, choosing a President was akin to picking a reliable family car over a high speed roadster with a drop top:  We wanted to make sure that every screw was tight, and every bulb was burning brightly.

These days, however, our political progress is measured in velocity and not accuracy, and that Ferrari is looking more and more appropriate.  We are looking for instant gratification.  We want this nation to jump off the line when we snap the pedal down, and a couple of tears in the fabric aren’t going to stop us.

That’s why Bernie Sanders believes that he can skirt the issues of his age and health in the 2020 election, as he has convinced his constituents that he is that sports car we wanted as a getaway  vehicle from Donald Trump.

Bernie Sanders says he doesn’t plan to divulge additional information about his health, months after suffering a heart attack on the campaign trail and subsequently pledging to release “comprehensive” medical records.

“I think we have released a detailed medical report, and I’m comfortable on what we have done,” the 78-year-old Vermont senator said during a CNN town hall on Tuesday.

Questions about Sanders’ health have lingered ever since he checked into a Las Vegas hospitalwith chest discomfort on Oct. 1 and had two stents inserted.

His campaign didn’t acknowledge that he had suffered a heart attack until his release several days later. And after pledging to divulgea detailedaccounting of his well-being, the campaign waited until New Year’s Eve to put out letters from three doctors attesting to his health — a move traditionally deployed to avoid scrutiny.

This new reticence may be a bit premature, however, as Sanders recently found himself feuding with rival candidate Mike Bloomberg over the fellow septuagenarian’s health.  To shy away from the conversation now, after accusing Bloomberg of being at-risk for cardiac issues, is downright laughable…like taking your Lamborghini grocery shopping.

Nanny Bloomberg Banned 32 Things as New York Mayor

Arrogant Michael Bloomberg really did think he knew best when he was mayor of New York City and banned an incredible 32 things.

Arrogant Michael Bloomberg really did think he knew best when he was mayor of New York City. He banned an incredible 32 things when he was mayor as he attempted to micromanage the lives of citizens of the Big Apple.

Like the arrogant, constitution-hating President Franklin Roosevelt who tried to take over half the country with his nanny state policies, Bloomie tried to force New Yorkers to do what HE wanted them to do instead of allowing them the freedom Americans deserve.

Also, like Roosevelt, many of nanny Bloomberg’s bans were reversed by the courts.

But nanny Bloomberg sure thought he knew better than everyone else, that is for sure.

Here is the list of things he banned or tried to ban:

Smoking in commercial establishments like bars and restaurants (2003)
Smoking in public spaces (2011)
Cigarette sales to those under 21 (2013)
Sales of “flavored” tobacco products (2009)
Smoking e-cigarettes in public spaces (2013)
Cigarette in-store displays (2013)
Cars in Times Square (2009)
Cars from driving in newly created bike lanes (2007-2013)
Cars causing congestion below 60th Street in Manhattan (2007)
Speeding on residential “slow zones” (2013)
Illegal guns (2006-2013)
Sodium levels in processed foods (2010)
Trans-fats in restaurants (2006)
Loud headphones (2013)
Styrofoam packaging in single-service food items (2013)
Sodas larger than 16 ounces (2012)
Collection of yard waste and grass clippings during certain times of year (2003-2013)
Organic food waste from landfills (2013)
Commercial music over 45 decibels (2013)
Chain restaurant menus without calorie counts (2008)
The posting of signs in “city-owned grassy areas” (2013)
Non-fuel-efficient cabs (2007)
New cabs that aren’t Nissan NV200s (2013)
Greenhouse gas emissions (2007)
Government buildings that aren’t LEED-certified (2005)
Non-hurricane-proof buildings in coastal areas (2013)
Black roofs (2009)
Construction cranes over 25 years old (2013)
No. 6 and No. 4 “heavy” heating oils (2011)
Less than a 2-1 ratio of female and male restrooms in new public buildings (2005)
Cell phones in schools (2006)
Two-term limits for city elected officials (2008)

Like all Democrats, freedom means nothing to nanny Bloomberg. He knows better than you because you are a moron and you need him to hold your hand through life.

America, if you are dumb enough to elect this anti-American cretin to the White House, you deserve what you get.

Trump Earns Highest Approval of Presidency and Blows Away All Democrats but Sanders

Donald Trump has earned his highest ever approval rating and beats every Democrat in the race except Bernie Sanders.

According to the latest polls, Donald Trump has earned his highest ever approval rating and beats every Democrat in the race except Bernie Sanders.

On Wednesday, the president hit his highest approval rating in an Emerson College Poll that shows him with a 48-44 split, a net-positive 4-point rating, according to the Washington Times.

The same poll finds Trump beating four of the top five Democrat candidates for 2020.

The only candidate that is beating him, according to Emerson, is communist Bernie Sanders who holds a slight two-point lead at 51-49.

“he president tops 50% of the vote against Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, billionaire Michael Bloomberg, former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg and former Vice President Joseph R. Biden,” the paper noted.

While Trump has hit the 48 percent approval several times in the Emerson poll, what makes this poll a new high is the lower negative readings. The president’s disapproval numbers are lower than they have ever been in the Emerson surveys.

As to the Democrat nomination battle, Sanders is leading with 29 percent in the Emerson poll. Next comes Biden at 22 percent. Then s Bloomberg at 14 percent.

The Emerson poll surveyed 1,250 registered voters from Feb. 16-18.

Even with these numbers, the president tweeted that his internal polls show that he is beating all the Democrats.

“Internal REAL Polls show I am beating all of the Dem candidates,” Trump tweeted on Wednesday. “The Fake News Polls (here we go again, just like 2016) show losing or tied. Their polls will be proven corrupt on November 3rd, just like the Fake News is corrupt!”

Biden Slams Campaign Ad Lies That Obama and Michael Bloomberg were Close Allies

Joe Biden slammed Michael Bloomberg over TV ads that seem to claim that Obama was the former New York City mayor’s close ally.

Joe Biden slammed Michael Bloomberg over TV ads that seem to claim that Obama was the former New York City mayor’s close ally.

Bloomberg has been all over TV and social media with video ads portraying Barack Obama as having worked closely with Bloomberg when he was mayor and Obama was president.

But former Vice President Joe Biden is busting Bloomberg on his conceit and noting that the New York Mayor and the former president did not really see eye-to-eye on much of anything.

“Welcome to the debates, Mike. We have a lot to catch up on about Barack Obama’s record,” Biden’s campaign tweeted on Wednesday.

The tweet goes on to add a long list of times that Bloomberg criticized Obama:

Here are some of those criticisms, according to The Hill:

“He passed a health care bill that does absolutely nothing to fix the big health care problems in this country,” Bloomberg says in a resurfaced clip from 2010. “It’s just a disgrace.”

“Obama did basically nothing. That administration did almost nothing,” Bloomberg also says in a clip from 2017 regarding the Obama administration’s efforts to tackle climate change.

Other Obama allies also pushed back on Bloomberg’s claims that he was a close political buddy of Obama.

“That is not how I remember it,” former senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer said on MSNBC on Tuesday. “I do remember that 2012 endorsement that came five days before the election and to say it was damning with faint praise would be generous…. I think these ads tell a story that is belied by the reality of that relationship, [which] I think is somewhat complicated.”

Obama operative Dan Pfeiffer said he was “bothered” by the ads.

“The ubiquity of the ads is what bothers me,” Pfeiffer said. “Bloomberg didn’t endorse Obama in 2008, and in 2012 he offered a tepid endorsement that included parts that read like an RNC attack ad.”

But Bloomberg’s lying ads are fooling people. Obama operative David Plouffe noted:

FOX News To Present A Town Hall With 2020 Democratic Presidential Candidate Sen. Amy Klobuchar

Unlike the other cable outlets, Fox News continues to cover all sides of the race for president, not just one side.

Unlike the other cable outlets, Fox News continues to cover all sides of the race for president, not just one side.

Special Report’s Bret Baier and The Story’s Martha MacCallum are set to moderate the town hall featuring the Minnesota Senator.

FOX News Channel (FNC) will host a town hall with 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) on Thursday, February 27th in Raleigh, NC, announced Jay Wallace, president and executive editor of FOX News Media. Co-moderated by FNC’s chief political anchor and anchor of Special Report (weekdays, 6-7PM/ET) Bret Baier and The Story’s (weekdays 7-8PM/ET) Martha MacCallum, FNC’s second town hall with Sen. Klobuchar will take place from 6:30-7:30PM/ET and focus on key issues of the 2020 presidential election. Additionally, abbreviated versions of Baier’s Special Report will air from 6-6:30PM/ET and MacCallum’s The Story will run from 7:30-8PM/ET.

In making the announcement, Wallace said, “As Super Tuesday quickly approaches, we are looking forward to hosting Sen. Klobuchar for a second FOX News Channel town hall as she makes her case for becoming the Democratic presidential nominee to the largest cable news audience in the country. We are confident we will provide our millions of viewers with an informative and thoughtful conversation.”

This marks the eighth town hall event of the current election season hosted by FNC and the second with Sen. Klobuchar. In May 2019, Baier and MacCallum co-hosted Sen. Klobuchar for her first FNC town hall in Milwaukee, WI, which topped cable news competition in the timeslot for that evening and outpaced CNN’s previous town hall with her. Most recently, FNC presented a town hall with 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Mayor Pete Buttigieg on January 26th in Des Moines, IA, moderated by FOX News Sunday’s Chris Wallace. FNC’s town hall with 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) in April 2019 remains the highest-rated town hall of any candidate this cycle in total viewership, with nearly 2.6 million viewers.

Baier and MacCallum’s roles have been instrumental throughout the network’s election coverage, including moderating debates, town halls and co-anchoring during major political events, such as the recent 2020 New Hampshire primary, State of the Union address and Iowa caucuses. Ratings during their coverage of all major 2020 political events have topped all cable news networks in both total viewers and the 25-54 demo, according to Nielsen Media Research.

FOX News Channel (FNC) is a 24-hour all-encompassing news service delivering breaking news as well as political and business news. The number one network in cable, FNC has been the most watched television news channel for 18 consecutive years. According to a 2020 Brand Keys Consumer Loyalty Engagement Index report, FOX News is the top brand in the country for morning and evening news coverage. A 2019 Suffolk University poll named FOX News as the most trusted source for television news or commentary, while a 2019 Brand Keys Emotion Engagement Analysis survey found that FOX News was the most trusted cable news brand. A 2017 Gallup/Knight Foundation survey also found that among Americans who could name an objective news source, FOX News was the top-cited outlet. Owned by FOX Corporation, FNC is available in nearly 90 million homes and dominates the cable news landscape, routinely notching the top ten programs in the genre.
