Gabbard Commits to Democratic Party, Won’t Mount Third-Party Spoiler Effort

All this after Hillary Clinton accused Russia of grooming Tulsi to ruin the Democrats’ chances.

Published

on

Just weeks ago, a strange little Democratic spat showed up on the national radar screen, and was quickly dismissed by many who witnessed it.

The issue was Hillary Clinton, once again sticking her nose in the affairs of the Democratic Party, much to the dismay of those who suffered through her 2016 takeover of the DNC and subsequent rigging of the primaries.  Clinton is little more than a curse on the progressives at this point in her lengthy political career, and many within the Democratic establishment would like nothing more than for the former First Lady to retire quietly to upstate New York.

Unfortunately, that is far from reality, and Clinton has begun even attack some of the Democrats who are running for the party’s nomination in 2020.  In the case of Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, Clinton insisted that the war vet-turned-politician was being “groomed” by Russia to spoil the race with a third party candidacy, should she fail to secure the Democratic nomination.  Gabbard immediately shot back, denying the claims and taking a swipe at Clinton in the process.

Now, in an effort to further disprove Hillary’s ridiculous assertion, Gabbard has made a pledge.

Longshot presidential hopeful Tulsi Gabbard says she will not launch a third-party bid for the White House if she fails to secure the Democratic nomination.

For weeks questions have swirled over whether the Hawaii congresswoman could play spoiler in 2020. That’s what many Democrats accuse Jill Stein of doing in 2016, when her Green Party candidacy cut into Democrat Hillary Clinton’s margins in key battleground states in the contest against Republican Donald Trump.

DNC Chair Tom Perez confirmed the news as well, describing Gabbard’s demeanor during the discussion as “enthusiastic”.

Joe Biden Using Edited Podcasts to Hide His Worrisome Mental Lapses

This is getting to be a bit desperate, don’t you think?

Published

on

The Democratic Party is still trying to convince the nation that former Vice President Joe Biden is the chosen one, for some reason or another.

Never mind the fact that the most vocal demographics within the party itself are that of the younger generations who simply despise Biden and all that he stands for.  Not only is he an establishment figure if there ever was one, but he is now facing credible accusations of sexual assault from a former female staffer – something that certainly isn’t going to play well a great many liberal voters.

Then, to top it all off, Biden has been a mishap machine over the course of recent weeks, issuing gaffe after embarrassing gaffe, and throwing temper tantrums when confronted by town hall attendees, (back before the virus when we could have several dozen people in a room together).  The frequency of these blunders has become so alarming that Twitter has been filling with memes claiming the Biden is suffering from dementia.

Now, in an effort to conceal these linguistic lurches, Biden’s campaign team is employing a new tactic:  Prerecorded podcasts that allow for multiple takes and audio editing.

John Nolte over at Breitbart breaks it down rather succinctly, if not a bit dramatically:

So now we have been gifted with Joe’s “Here’s the Deal” podcasts, and it can be no accident that Joe’s retreated into the safety of a podcast; the safety of a platform where video of Joe’s hilariously disturbing (I’m so bad) brain freezes cannot go viral because there is no video; the safety of a format where Joe’s hilariously disturbing (I’m going to Hell) brain freezes can now be edited out because he’s hiding behind a platform that’s edited before it’s released; the safety of a format where we cannot see if Joe is reading a teleprompter or script.

Nevertheless, he still slurs and sounds exhausted.

Worse still, Hunter’s Dad does take “If you were president” questions from “real people” during the podcast, but the questions are pre-screened and recorded, which allows Joe to prepare for them.

Of course, much of the anti-Biden bickering could be coming from the depths of the Bernie Bros’ playoff, as they continue to tear the Democratic Party in two.

Biden Operative Accused of Stealing $1 Million from Union

A close ally of Joe Biden is accused of stealing $1 million from a union pension fund.

Published

on

A close ally of Joe Biden is accused of stealing $1 million from a union pension fund according to an internal probe published by the Washington Free Beacon.

According to the Beacon:

Harold Schaitberger, the president of the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF), which represents more than 300,000 firefighters, is facing accusations of corruption and gross financial malpractice from his closest deputies. Edward Kelly, the general secretary-treasurer and the number two of the union, detailed the findings of his team’s audit in a March 20 internal memorandum. According to the 105-page document, the audit has thus far found that Schaitberger and Thomas Miller—Kelly’s predecessor as the general secretary-treasurer—illegally earned millions of dollars from the union pension fund over the last two decades.

Kelly accused Schaitberger’s people of intentional obfuscation and purposefully bad record keeping to hide the theft.

Kelly’s audit also found that the union misreported millions of dollars in union funds while diverting millions of dollars for a purpose unrelated to their original designation. As a result of this rampant financial malpractice, roughly $6 million in union funds remain unaccounted for, according to the memorandum.

New Haven Fire Department battalion chief Frank Ricci is demanding a full investigation.

“If these allegations are proven true through the appropriate due process, Harold A. Schaitberger, General President, should be removed from office. Kelly talks about ‘turning over couches’ to find money, I think it’s time to turn over the couches and chase the rats out,” he told the Beacon.

Schaitberger is one of Biden’s longest labor allies and was the main force for the IAFF to endorse Biden for president.

The Biden ally earns $388,000 a year as a union leader, but he was also pulling in an additional $5,105 a month from the pension system. The additional amount seems to violate the union’s contract as well as federal pension laws.

The probe also accused Schaitberger of reaping millions in unearned pension benefits.

Trump Weighs in on Democrats’ Possible Plan to Replace Biden for 2020

The President exuded his signature confidence in assessing the possibility of facing someone other than the former veep.

Published

on

The Democratic Party has a bit of an embarrassing problem on their hands at the moment, and President Trump isn’t going to waste this opportunity to throw a light verbal jab their way on account of it.

You see, the liberal left wants no part of a Joe Biden nomination.  They see the former Vice President as too much of a centrist, for starters.  Then there’s the fact that he has been virtually MIA on the campaign trail as of late, emerging every so often to say that he doesn’t think he should have to participate in any more debates before being crowned the nominee.

On top of all that, Biden has now been credibly accused of sexual assault by a former staffer – a turn of events that the mainstream media seems to want no part of covering.

It’s likely thanks to all of this that there are serious rumors that Biden could be replaced by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on the 2020 tickets, perhaps during a contentious battle at the Democratic National Convention later this summer.

And President Trump seems to be actually encouraging this.

The president spoke about Cuomo and Biden during an interview with Fox and Friends on Monday morning.

Cuomo’s performance as governor of New York during the coronavirus crisis has boosted his approval ratings, prompting comparisons between him and Biden as leaders of the Democrat party. A new poll shows that 87 percent of New Yorkers now approve of Cuomo’s job performance, up from 44 percent in February.

“I think probably Andrew would be better,” Trump said when asked about Cuomo. “I’m telling you right now, you know, I want somebody in this country that’s going to do a great job.”

But the President certainly wasn’t worried about the prospect of facing the often-adversarial Empire State politician.

“I wouldn’t mind running against Andrew. I don’t mind running against Joe Biden.”

At this point, Trump may just be rooting for the Democrats to go ahead and choose someone so he can get on with his strategizing for the general election.

New Poll Shows Disastrous News For Biden

Published

on

A new poll from ABC News and the Washington Post shows disastrous news for Joe Biden but will greatly delight Trump supporters.

Registered voters opted for Biden by 49 percent over Trump’s 47 percent, the Washington Post-ABC News poll shows with President Trump closing a 7 percentage point gap from February as he responds to the coronavirus outbreak.

Washington Examiner:

We may be paying most of our attention to the coronavirus crisis, but the 2020 election continues nonetheless. In the race’s latest twist, a shock new poll from ABC News and the Washington Post spells very bad news for Joe Biden, yet it will delight supporters of President Trump.

The poll surveyed national support among registered voters, given the option of a head-to-head choice between Trump and Biden. It found that while the former vice president had a 7-point lead in February, that has since winnowed to 2 points, putting Trump and Biden at essentially a statistical tie among registered voters. This alone is a big boost for the president, but the poll’s specifics are even better news for Trump supporters.

In recent weeks, Biden has framed his campaign pitch against Trump simply, arguing that he would be better suited than the current Oval Office occupant to deal with a national crisis such as the pandemic and/or a recession that follows. But this poll suggests voters aren’t buying it.

Only 43% of voters say they would trust Biden more to handle the coronavirus, while 47% say they would trust Trump more to manage the crisis. And on the economic front, a whopping 52% of registered voters say they’d prefer Trump to manage the economy, with just 42% thinking Biden would do a better job on that front. More

The economy is going to take a huge hit with all this. The main question is how people will translate that at the ballot box. Do we need someone like President Trump who built it to heights to stay in there and rebuild again or the Democrats who are notoriously bad for it?

Joe Biden Accused of Sexual Assault — Accuser Breaks Silence

Joe Biden was accused of sexual assault last year. Now his accuser is speaking up with graphic details of her assault.

Published

on

Joe Biden was accused of sexual assault last year. Now his accuser is speaking up with graphic details of her assault.

Former Biden Senate staffer, Tara Reade, accused the former vice president of sexually inappropriate behavior when she worked for him back in 1993.

Reade has not spent much time revealing what she claims Biden did to her — at least until now. For instance, last April she told The Union that Biden constantly touched her inappropriately. He also made comments about her shapely legs and and when she refused his advances her career in his office was harmed, she said.

“My life was hell,” Reade told the paper last year. “This was about power and control. I couldn’t get a job on the Hill.” She left Biden’s office in August of ’93.

This, though, is about all she has said until now. This week, Reade spoke out and revealed more details about her accusations.

Reade spoke to Katie Halper recently to talk about her assault.

According to Newsone.com:

Reade described a graphic 1993 incident where a superior asked her to take a gym bag to Biden “down towards the capital.” Then she recalls being called towards the “side area” where Biden greeted her.

“We were alone and it was the strangest thing,” she said. “There was no like exchange really. He just had me up against the wall.”

Reade went on to say that she was wearing a business skirt with no stockings because it was hot at the time. While up against the wall, Reade says Biden’s “hands were on me and underneath my clothes.”

“He went down my skirt but then up inside it and he penetrated me with his fingers,” Reade emotionally continued.

Reade also said Biden was kissing her and saying multiple things to her. She remembered a couple of the comments.

“I remember him saying first, like as he was doing it, ‘Do you want to go somewhere else,’” she said. “And then him saying to me when I pulled away, he got finished doing what he was doing, and I kind of just pulled back and he said, ‘Come on man, I heard you liked me.’ And that phrase stayed with me because I kept thinking what I might’ve said and I can’t remember exactly if he said ‘i thought’ or ‘I heard’ but he implied that I had done this.”

Reade then went on to say that “everything shattered in that moment” because she knew that there were no witnesses and she looked up to him. “He was like my father’s age,” she said. “He was like this champion of women’s rights in my eyes and I couldn’t believe it was happening. It seemed surreal.”

Reade alleged that after all that Biden blithely said, “You’re fine” and walked away.

She added that Biden later threatened her and warned her not to repeat the story to anyone.

Joe Biden’s Sudden Wisdom: ‘Probably Best I Don’t Keep Talking’

I’m sure many young Democrats would agree with him.

Published

on

The Democratic Party is likely in a little bit of denial as of late.

You see, they’ve allowed former Vice President Joe Biden to become their presumptive 2020 presidential nominee while he’s in the midst of a gaffe-frenzy that has the party’s youth voting bloc jumping ship in droves.

Biden has been shouting ridiculous epithets at town hall attendees, calling one woman in the audience a “lying, dog-faced pony solider”.  That incident came just a few weeks after the former veep called another campaign event guest “fat” and “a damn liar”.

And just days ago Biden spouted some complete and utter gibberish in the general direction of The View.

It appears that ol’ Joe has finally started making some sense, however, mentioning to MSNBC’s Chris Wallace that he might need to stop talking so much.

When asked how he would handle the coronavirus pandemic if he wins the election, Biden said, “Way back in January 17 I wrote a piece, maybe the 15th. I wrote a piece for “USA Today” saying that, you know, a pandemic is coming. We have to be better prepared. We should have been in a position, I called for a while ago. I would enforce, enforce the defense production act. I would be surging equipment and personnel. I would be moving in a direction where we had the United States military, which I call for several weeks ago building hospitals like finally happening in the National Guard helping in New York with, you know, at the Javits Center. We have this capacity. Most of all, I would be protecting our docs, nurses, and first responders because if we lose them, we are in real, real trouble. We should be making those masks, moving on those ventilators. We can do that. Why doesn’t he just act like a president?”

Then came the tacit admission by the former West Wing resident.

Biden apologized, “That’s a stupid way to say that but I really –”

Wallace who had begun her next question said, “Donald Trump was asked on —”

Biden apologized again, “Sorry.”

Wallace said, “Go ahead.”

Biden said, “No. No. Probably best I don’t.”

I’m sure many young Democrats would agree with him.

Joe Biden Spouts Complete Gibberish on ‘The View’ Regarding COVID-19

This jumbled mess of verbiage did little to quell concerns about the septuagenarian’s mental acuity.

Published

on

For a great deal of the nation, the last thing on their mind is the 2020 election.  We’re in the midst of a war where united we stand, 6 feet apart.  Divided is okay, so long as it’s physically and not ideologically.

We need to all work on the same team, but remotely.  Without the internet, this would be a real problem:  Not only would information be far slower to travel to those in need, but we would have far fewer options for entertaining ourselves.

Still, there are some politicians out there, particularly those in the 2020 race for the White House, who seem to think that divisive politics are appropriate at a time like this.  Former Vice President Joe Biden is one such politician, who has spent what little time he has on the virtual campaign trail railing against incumbent President Donald Trump’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

But if you thought that perhaps Biden was some sort of expert on the field fo viral infections, you may want to take a look at the nonsense that came out of his mouth this week on The View.

Co-host Sara Haines asked, “We talked about Trump saying the government would reassess the wrecked period for keeping businesses shut and people at home. Are you at all concerned as Trump said that we cannot let the cure be worse than the problem itself?”

Biden responded, “We have to take care of the cure. That will make the problem worse, no matter what. No matter what. We know what has to be done. We know you have to— you’re tired of hearing the phrase, you got to flatten that curve where it’s going up like this, people getting it, and then it comes down. We got to flatten that curve, and we got to make sure that once, in fact, we have this under control, it doesn’t come back. So we should be focusing on getting all the help necessary in terms of testing, in terms of access to the gear that our first responders, our doctors, our nurses need in treating people.”

Biden’s campaign has been rife with this sort of bizarre verbiage.

Just weeks ago, Biden was caught on video calling a woman a “lying, dog-faced pony soldier” during one of his public appearances.
