First-Time Border Wall Construction Begins in Texas in Trump Promise Fulfilled

Construction on brand new border wall barriers has begun along the Rio Grande River in Texas marking another promise kept by the Trump administration.

Construction on brand new border wall barriers has begun along the Rio Grande River in Texas marking another promise kept by the Trump administration.

Trump has already built 75 miles of new walls, but to date all that construction has been in areas that replaced dilapidated barriers, or barriers that were purposefully made to be ineffective.

President Trump promised to start building new border walls on our southern border and the Democrats have worked for three years to stop any progress. But Trump has prevailed, anyway, and has set in place miles and miles of new barriers. And now he has started new construction in Texas, right where illegal crossings are worst.

The new barrier is under construction southeast of McAllen in Texas’s Rio Grande Valley sector.

According to Customs and Border Protection (CBP) this region sees the most illegal crossings of any border sector, and more than 325,000 people were apprehended there through August.

“Rio Grande Valley is by far our busiest sector, so getting this new wall system capability down there for [the agents] is truly a game-changer,” a CBP spokesman said. “Just last week, the agents on the frontlines told us the wall is something they need.”

The previous construction was only built by the Obama administration to prevent vehicle traffic, but the sparse barriers did not prevent foot traffic at all.

The new wall changed that, CBP said.

“People can walk through or across a vehicle barrier with drugs or other contraband but can’t walk through an 18- to 30-foot wall with anti-climb features, sensors and cameras,” CBP said.

Fox News added:

… wall advocates are excited that the project is advancing and note that illegal crossings are falling dramatically from summer peaks, in part due to Mexico stepping up enforcement of its borders and in part thanks to renovated wall sections.

“They’re making progress,” Mark Krikorian, the executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies, told Fox News. “They desperately need more barriers down there because that’s one of the main places people are crossing.”

The federal government plans to put 100 miles of new wall n the Rio Grande area.

“By the end of 2020, the agency aims to have completed 141 miles of brand-new wall and 24 miles of new levee wall, along with 273 miles of replacement wall, for a total of more than 400 miles of border barriers. Seventy-one miles would also receive a second wall for extra security,” Fox noted.

Chicago Mayor Signs Order to Give Illegals Free Coronavirus Relief Funds

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot signed an executive order Tuesday to divert coronavirus relief money to illegal aliens living in the Windy City.

Published

on

Chicago’s vaunted “first gay Mayor,” Lori Lightfoot, signed an executive order Tuesday to divert coronavirus relief money to illegal aliens living in the Windy City.

The mayor has made a special point to celebrate her “sanctuary city” rules giving cover to law breaking illegals and as much free stuff as she can find to throw at them. So, the idea of diverting coronavirus money to illegals and away from actual citizens is not a surprise from her.

According to the Daily Caller:

“This order is more than just an official decree, it is a statement of our values as a city and as Americans,” the Democratic mayor said during the press conference.

“Since COVID-19 first reached our city’s doorstep, we have been working around the clock to ensure all our residents are secure and supported, including our immigrant and refugee communities, who are among the most vulnerable to the impact of this pandemic,” Lightfoot continued.

22nd ward alderman Michael Rodriguez was thrilled with the order, naturally. The alderman who seems to think he represents Mexico, called illegals “our family.”

“Not all of Chicago’s residents qualify for federal stimulus checks, state unemployment insurance or other economic assistance due to their documentation status,” (22nd ward alderman Michael) Rodriguez said. “These Chicagoans are vital community members who work in various industries and help our great city to thrive every day.”

“These Chicagoans are our family members, co-workers, neighbors and friends. I applaud the Mayor for standing with undocumented individuals and families to ensure their eligibility for any economic assistance offered by the City of Chicago during this global pandemic,” he added.

In her press release, Lightfoot bragged about kow towing to illegals:

Passed the Accountability on Communication and Transparency (ACT) Ordinance, which officially terminates ICE’s access to Chicago Police Department databases related to civil immigration enforcement activities and reaffirms the City’s commitment not to cooperate with or facilitate any ICE effort to target Chicago’s immigrant families.

As per usual, Democrats bend over backwards for criminals while taking support away from real Americans.

Illegal Aliens are Now Demanding to be Paid the Same $1,200 Coronavirus $$ as Citizens

Advocates for illegals are demanding that Trump give illegal aliens the same $1,200 coronavirus relief check that citizens are getting

Published

on

The president signed the Chinese virus relief bill into law last week giving millions of Americans a check for $1,200 each. Now advocates are demanding that the feds give illegal aliens the same amount.

The bill includes a $1,200 check for each American who makes under $75,000 a year. But the catch is that they have to have filed their income taxes under a legal social security number.

Obviously, this precludes illegals who do not have legal status. But leftist advocates are demanding that the government also give every illegal the same amount as proper citizens.

According to Breitbart News:

Open borders organizations like the George Soros-funded United We Dream, the National Immigrant Justice Center, and the National Immigration Law Center — all of which represent the roughly 11 to 22 million illegal aliens living in the United States — are pleading with the federal government to cut federal checks to illegal aliens who have Individual Tax Identification Number (ITINs).

Breitbart added:

“Everyone, regardless of immigration status, must have access to testing, medical care & financial relief. Congress must ensure that all Americans can focus on keeping their families & communities safe & healthy,” officials with the National Immigrant Justice Center posted online.

United We Dream added that federal checks should go to all people in the country regardless if they are illegals:

So, not only have illegals been stealing from the U.S. for a generation, but now they want us to willingly hand them checks as if they were real Americans!

Immigration and Customs Enforcement Using Its Deportation Flights To Bring Home Americans

Published

on

Americans have been brought home on the return legs of three separate removal flights to Central America. Since last Sunday, 273 Americans have flown back to the U.S. on removal flights, said Mary Houtmann, an ICE spokesperson.

“ICE will continue to work with the State Department to facilitate the safe return of U.S. citizens on future removal flight returns from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador throughout the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic,” ICE said in a press release statement.

TDC:

ICE Air Operations, the air transportation arm of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), has so far rescued 466 U.S. citizens stranded in the Northern Triangle region of Central America amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Following orders of final removal, ICE deported Salvadoran and Honduran nationals back to their home countries on Friday. On the return leg of these flights, the agency took aboard U.S. citizens who were stranded due to COVID-19 lockdowns, according to an ICE press release.

ICE on Friday flew home 130 U.S. citizens from Honduras via two different flights, and another 127 U.S. citizens from El Salvador — all of whom were able to occupy “Space Available” seats on the return leg of these repatriation flights.

These flights come after ICE flew back 209 U.S. citizens from El Salvador and Honduras earlier this month, bringing the total number of those rescued by the agency to 466. ICE says it will keep bringing Americans home, and left the door open to expanding the operation outside the Northern Triangle region. More

Two birds – one stone. Exceptional planning and use of resources. We deport the illegals and bring back the citizens. Win-Win for everyone! I hope they’re all going into quarantine.

UN Angry As Hundreds Of Europe-Bound Migrants Stopped And Sent Back

Published

on

The U.N. migration agency says Libya’s coast guard has caught over 400 Europe-bound migrants off the country’s Mediterranean coast and delivered them to the capital of Tripoli.

Breitbart:

CAIRO (AP) — Libya’s coast guard intercepted over 400 Europe-bound migrants off the country’s Mediterranean coast and returned them to the capital of Tripoli over the past 24 hours, the UN migration agency said Sunday.

The International Organization for Migration tweeted that 301 migrants on three boats were intercepted on Saturday and brought back to Tripoli. Another 105 migrants on two boats were intercepted on Sunday.

It said most of the migrants were taken to detention centres in Libya, where there are “serious concerns over their safety.”

Some migrants managed to escape at the disembarkation point, as the boats were brought back to shore, the IOM said.

“It is unacceptable for this to continue despite repeated calls to put an end to the return of vulnerable people to detention and abuse,” said Safa Msehli, a spokeswoman for the IOM.

Libya, which descended into chaos following the 2011 uprising that toppled and killed longtime dictator Moammar Gadhafi, has emerged as a major transit point for African and Arab migrants fleeing war and poverty to Europe. More

The UN serves no valuable purpose for the betterment of nations and therefore should be completely disbanded. The Wuhan Virus National Emergency in the United States is the perfect time to close down the UN and send all members of the UN home giving them 5 days to get out.

Why are we still funding the UN, seeing as the invasion of Europe and the West is one of its main objectives?

Mexico Considering Closing Its Border To Stop Americans Bringing Wuhan Coronavirus Into Country

Oh, the irony!

Published

on

Mexico is considering closing its border to stop Americans bringing coronavirus into its country as US case count passes 2,000.

In Mexico, there have only been 16 confirmed cases and no reported deaths.

Daily Mail:

For once, the conversation over closing the US-Mexico border is being driven b Mexican health officials who say they are considering shutting out Americans to keep coronavirus out of their country.

There are currently more than 2,000 cases of the virus in the US and it is spreading rapidly. Forty-three people have died from it.

By contrast in Mexico, there have only been 16 confirmed cases and no deaths.

At a press conference on Friday, health minister Hugo Lopez-Gatell said: ‘Mexico wouldn’t bring the virus to the United States, rather the United States would bring it here.

‘The possible flow of coronavirus would come from the north to the south.

‘If it were technically necessary, we would consider mechanisms of restriction or stronger surveillance,’ he said.

Trump has said little on the subject of coronavirus in Mexico.

Unlike several Latin American countries, Mexico has yet to take measures such as closing schools or banning entry to people coming from places with high numbers of coronavirus cases. More

Yes, shut down the border in both ways. You close the border and get to smirk… We keep them closed and get the last laugh. And for all those too slow to understand this… Mexico would be securing our southern border for us and paying for it too.

Supreme Court Sides with Trump, Allows Key Immigration Policy

The U.S. Supreme Court has sided with the Trump administration and has upheld his “remain in Mexico” policy.

Published

on

The U.S. Supreme Court has sided with the Trump administration and upheld Trump’s “remain in Mexico” policy that serves as a key part of the administration’s immigration plan.

The top court ruled on Wednesday that the administration can continue to enforce its policy of returning asylum-seekers back into Mexico as their status is adjudicated in the United States, U.S. News and World Report wrote.

The new order blocks a lower court’s injunction against enforcement of the policy. The injunction was to have gone into effect this week.

Unsurprisingly, extremist, left-wing Justice Sonia Sotomayor dissented.

The “Migrant Protection Protocols” returned roughly 60,000 asylum-seekers back to Mexico while their status is considered in U.S. courts.

But the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals blocked the program in February, claiming that it caused “extreme and irreversible harm” to the illegals trying to sneak into the U.S. disguised as “refugees.”

The California-based Appeals Court’s injunction was supposedly limited to California and Arizona, but now it will not go into effect.

The administration announced last week that it was sending an additional 160 members of the military to the southern border if the injunction were to be enacted.

“Two teams of 80 military personnel were sent to ports of entry in El Paso, Texas, and San Ysidro, California, in anticipation of the ruling. Officials said they were concerned that large groups of migrants would attempt to enter the U.S. if the policy were blocked,” the magazine reported.

Now that worry is abated with the end of the injunction.

Supreme Court Sides With President Trump On ‘Remain in Mexico’ Asylum Policy

Winning!

Published

on

The Supreme Court gives President Donald Trump win by allowing ‘remain in Mexico’ policy to continue on.

“We are gratified that the Supreme Court granted a stay, which prevents a district court injunction from impairing the security of our borders and the integrity of our immigration system,” a DOJ spokesman said.

BFN:

The Supreme Court on Wednesday allowed the Trump administration to continue enforcing a policy that requires asylum-seekers to wait in Mexico while their cases are processed in the US, another key legal victory for the White House and its efforts to restrict immigration at the southern border.

The high court voted to allow the Trump administration to implement the “Remain in Mexico” policy — formally known as the Migration Protection Protocols — as a legal challenge continues. A federal judge in San Francisco had blocked the policy last year and the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals was set to allow the injunction to go into effect in California and Arizona on Thursday.

The policy has sent roughly 60,000 asylum-seekers to Mexico as they await the outcome of their immigration proceedings in the US. The policy, which took effect in early 2019, has been a pillar of the Trump administration’s approach to not only restrict asylum access, but deter those seeking protection from coming to the border. In the meantime, immigrant advocates have reported cases of kidnapping, rape, torture, and other violent attacks against those forced to wait in Mexico.

“The Court of Appeals unequivocally declared this policy to be illegal. The Supreme Court should as well,” said Judy Rabinovitz, special counsel in the ACLU’s Immigrants’ Rights Project, which is challenging the policy. “Asylum seekers face grave danger and irreversible harm every day this depraved policy remains in effect.” More

The USA is not obligated to admit everyone who wants to come into our country. Sonia Sotomayor is one of the more worthless Supreme Court justices to ever be appointed. Regardless of the law and the Constitution she continues to vote solely based on her political bias and left-wing leanings.
