Fifty-four U.S. Nat’l Institutes of Health Scientists Fired for Hiding Links to Red Chinese

A whopping 54 scientists at the National Institutes of Health have been fired for hiding the fact that they have been bankrolled by the red Chinese.

A whopping 54 scientists at the National Institutes of Health have been fired for hiding the fact that they have been bankrolled by the red Chinese.

“It’s not what we had hoped, and it’s not a fun task,” NIH Director Francis Collins said about the investigation. Collins called the data “sobering.”

According to Science magazine:

The new numbers come from Michael Lauer, NIH’s head of extramural research. Lauer had previously provided some information on the scope of NIH’s investigation, which had targeted 189 scientists at 87 institutions. But his presentation today to a senior advisory panel offered by far the most detailed breakout of an effort NIH launched in August 2018 that has roiled the U.S. biomedical community, and resulted in criminal charges against some prominent researchers, including Charles Lieber, chair of Harvard University’s department of chemistry and chemical biology.

Trending: Supreme Court Rules That Half Of Oklahoma Is Under Jurisdiction Of Muscogee Nation

Most of the scientists are of Asian descent, and half of them had two grants. The 285 active grants at the center of the investigation total $164 million in research dollars.

Lauer also presented data on the nature of the violations that NIH has uncovered. Some 70% (133) of the researchers had failed to disclose to NIH the receipt of a foreign grant, and 54% had failed to disclose participation in a foreign talent program. In contrast, Lauer said, only 9% hid ties to a foreign company, and only 4% had an undisclosed foreign patent. Some 5% of cases involved a violation of NIH’s peer-review system.

Lauer said the fact that 82% of those being investigated are Asian “is not surprising” because “that’s who the Chinese target” in their foreign talent recruitment programs. Some 82% are men, and their median age is 56, with the youngest being 48 and the oldest 59. Slightly more than one-half had been an NIH peer reviewer in the past 2 years, and 41% of those under investigation (77 scientists) have been banned from further participation in NIH’s well-regarded system of vetting grant proposals.

Sadly, this is occurring all across our institutes of “higher learning.”

The communist Chinese are undermining our entire research and educational establishment.

And our universities are not victims of this infiltration. They are complicit. They are working hand-in-hand with our enemies.

So, what’s the big deal? First of all, it means our enemies are cornering our research dollars. But it also means the Chinese are being informed FIRST when new discoveries and information is being discovered. And that leaves us in the back seat.

WHO Finally Admits China Never Reported The Existence Of Coronavirus Outbreak

Published

By

WHO has backtracked on its original claim that China self-reported the existence of Coronavirus in Wuhan, admitting it never happened.

The WHO’s updated timeline that was posted online this week, now states that officials first learned about the virus on Dec. 31, 2019, through information posted on a U.S. website by doctors working in Wuhan, where the virus first emerged. This contradicts the agency’s initial timeline, which said that China first presented this information on that date.

Washington Examiner:

The World Health Organization backtracked on its assertion that the Chinese government alerted the United Nations agency about the coronavirus outbreak.

The WHO quietly updated its “Timeline of WHO’s response to COVID-19” on Tuesday following the House Foreign Affairs Committee Republicans’ mid-June Interim Report on Origins of COVID-19 Pandemic (led by ranking member and China task force Chairman Rep. Michael McCaul of Texas), which concluded that “despite public reporting to the contrary … China never notified the WHO about the outbreak in Wuhan.” The change was spotted by McCaul and first reported by the Washington Free Beacon.

“I’m glad to see the WHO and the Chinese Communist Party have both read my interim report on the origins of the pandemic and are finally admitting to the world the truth — the CCP never reported the virus outbreak to the WHO in violation of WHO regulations,” McCaul said in a statement to the Washington Examiner. “The question now is whether the CCP will continue their false propaganda campaign that continues to claim they warned the world or whether they will come clean and begin to work with the world health community to get to the bottom of this deadly pandemic.” More

WHO’s integrity is completely blown. Why should we trust them on anything when these degenerates are obviously willing to lie during a world pandemic?

WHO must be angling for U.S. funding. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have said anything.

New Strain Of Swine Flu Could Become Next Chinese Pandemic

New Strain Of Swine Flu Could Become Next Chinese Pandemic

In a paper published in the journal PNAS, scientists said a strain of flu called G4 is becoming more prevalent in pigs in China and has “all the essential hallmarks of a candidate pandemic virus.” They pointed out that there’s no immediate threat to humans, but it could be a sign of future outbreaks.

“Pigs are intermediate hosts for the generation of pandemic influenza virus,” the researchers wrote. “Thus, systematic surveillance of influenza viruses in pigs is a key measure for prewarning the emergence of the next pandemic influenza.”

CNBC:

Scientists have identified a new strain of flu carried by pigs in China that they say has the potential to become a pandemic.

The new strain is descended from the type of flu — known as “swine flu” — that emerged in 2009 causing the first global flu pandemic in 40 years.

The scientists published their peer-reviewed findings in U.S. science journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences on Monday. They said the new strain of flu, which they called “G4 EA H1N1,” is a variation of swine flu, and includes the “G4″ genotype that has become predominant in swine populations since 2016.

As with swine flu, the new strain has been identified as having “all the essential hallmarks of a candidate pandemic virus.”

The scientists, who studied flu viruses in pig populations between 2011 and 2018, noted that around 10% of swine industry workers they tested in China had already been exposed to the virus, which they described as “of concern.” That rate increased among younger workers, aged 18-35, “indicating that the predominant G4 EA H1N1 virus has acquired increased human infectivity.” More

Well looks like 2020 might have another card up its sleeve. China is the gift that keeps on giving. Ban ALL travel to and from China! Ban all flights that had layovers in China! Just completely ban China!

I’m telling you, now that politicians have learned they have near limitless power during a pandemic, expect them to act like there’s a pandemic every time anyone in the world sneezes. Politicians love control.

House Democrats Reject Resolution Condemning China For Coronavirus Cyberattacks

House Democrats blocked a resolution yesterday that would have made it the official position of the Houses of Representatives that the lower chamber denounces cyberattacks by the Chinese and other rogue nations on American researchers in the race for a coronavirus vaccine.

Rep. Michael McCaul: “At a time when scientists around the world are working together in an epic race against time to develop a life-saving vaccine to rescue the world from the grips of the coronavirus, the CCP is trying to steal that research for their own selfish purposes.”

Free Beacon:

House Democrats voted down a resolution that condemned China for launching cyberattacks aimed at stealing valuable coronavirus data from American research institutions.

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R., Ill.) introduced the resolution on Tuesday morning. It notes China’s “long history of conducting cyberattacks on Americans” and further warns that the Communist nation’s coronavirus-related attacks could “jeopardize the delivery of secure, effective, and efficient treatment options for American citizens.” Kinzinger’s resolution also demands that China be held accountable for “perpetrating such belligerent acts.”

Rep. Michael McCaul (R., Texas) argued in support of the resolution, calling China’s cyberattacks “a new low.” More

House Democrats can’t even bring themselves to condemn China for what they’ve actually done. It’s no longer a slippery slope the assault on anything America has now become an avalanche… And it’s brought to you exclusively by the Democrats!

The following is an excerpt of the IA Analytica White Paper The Inevitability of Military Conflict in 2020 published last week.

In a previous White Paper, 150 Days: America in Jeopardy Approaching Election Day, we made the
following conclusion:

In the next five months, from June to Election Day (November 3), the United States is likely to be confronted with a series of events that would not only bring down the Trump Presidency and significantly alter the American political landscape, but have a decades-long impact on the world.

Online Conference App Zoom Bows to Chinese Slave Masters, Bans Chinese Democracy Activists

If you or your company use Zoom to make conference calls, you are now contributing to the enslavement and oppression of the Chinese people.

Published

If you or your company use Zoom to make conference calls, you are now contributing to the enslavement and oppression of the Chinese people. Congratulations on your decision to commit a crime against humanity.

According to left-wing site Axios, at the bidding of their Chinese overlords, Zoom has summarily cancelled the accounts of a group of prominent U.S.-based Chinese pro-democracy activists because they dared try to stir interest in the campaign of arrest, torture, and murder that China visited upon democratic activists during the June 4, 1989, Tiananmen Square Massacre.

Clearly, Zoom is allowing the second most oppressive nation on the planet to dictate its policies.

So why, dear American, are you compliant with this?

A Zoom spokesman admitted that they bowed to demands issued by the Red Chinese to delete the pro-democracy activists’ accounts.

“Just like any global company, we must comply with applicable laws in the jurisdictions where we operate. When a meeting is held across different countries, the participants within those countries are required to comply with their respective local laws,” the company explained in a statement. “We aim to limit the actions we take to those necessary to comply with local law and continuously review and improve our process on these matters.”

The deletions came after a March 31 Zoom event sponsored by Zhou Fengsuo, founder of the U.S. nonprofit Humanitarian China and former student leader of the 1989 Tiananmen protests.

Then Zoom took action. According to Axios:

  • About 250 people attended the event. Speakers included mothers of students killed during the 1989 crackdown, organizers of Hong Kong’s Tiananmen candlelight vigil, and others.
  • On June 7th, the Zoom account displayed a message that it had been shut down, in a screenshot viewed by Axios. Zhou has not been able to access the account since then, and Zoom has not responded to his emails, he told Axios.
  • A second Zoom account belonging to a pro-democracy activist, Lee Cheuk Yan, a former Hong Kong politician and pro-democracy activist, was also closed in late May. Lee has also received no response from Zoom.

“We are outraged by this act from Zoom, a U.S company,” Zhou and other organizers told Axios in a statement. “As the most commercially popular meeting software worldwide, Zoom is essential as an unbanned outreach to Chinese audiences remembering and commemorating Tiananmen Massacre during the coronavirus pandemic.”

If you support Zoom, you support the oppression of democracy. But worse, you support torture, imprisonment, and the murder of those who yearn to be free.

China Says Trump Could Drop ‘Atomic Bomb’ on American Citizens

This senseless escalation of rhetoric isn’t surprising from China, but it certainly is shocking.

Published

on

China’s animosity toward the United States has grown ever more fervent this week as a state-run newspaper has made an absolutely absurd claim.

Just over a week ago, one of the most prevalent stories in all of the world was China’s abysmal response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which was so poor, in fact, that many believed Beijing could have purposefully deflated numbers in order to allow the rest of the world to be caught off guard.

Now, in a brutal bit of mockery, the Chinese Communist Party is now telling the world that US President Donald Trump may drop a nuclear weapon on his own citizens.

China’s state-run Global Times propaganda newspaper fretted on Tuesday that President Donald Trump may use a nuclear weapon against rioters destroying neighborhoods in the nation’s biggest cities, declaring America a “failed state.”

Instead, the Global Times claimed in one article that the riots throughout America “expose a ‘failed state’” under the “weak, irresponsible, and incompetent leadership of President Trump. Riots have targeted impoverished neighborhoods in many cities, beginning in Minneapolis, after a police offered killed Minnesota resident George Floyd on video. Floyd was unarmed and did not appear to be resisting arrest, instead pleading with the officer to let him breathe. The officer has been charged with third-degree murder.

Then came the ugly stuff.

“How ruthless these U.S. politicians are! They talk about humanity, justice, and morality all the time. They condemned Hong Kong police simply for the latter’s use of tear gas and water cannon against violent rioters. The U.S. unrest just began a few days ago, but police already fired shots at protesters before efforts for peaceful dialogue were even made,” the newspaper continued.

“Where are the human rights? Where is their respect for life? The US politicians show zero tolerance to unrest, but they launched countless attacks on other countries’ efforts to safeguard the rule of law,” the column concluded. “If this was organized subversion, what would they do? Will they drop an atomic bomb?”

This senseless escalation of rhetoric isn’t surprising from China, but it certainly is shocking.

Big Brother Beijing: China Works Up Health App That Sorts Citizens in Real Time

Have a glass of wine? That’s going to cost you 1.5 health points!

Published

There has never been much of an expectation of privacy in communist China:  The authoritarian regime has made very sure of that.

As a Chinese citizen, you already have to submit to both communism and religious persecution, as well as a social credit score system that ranks individuals based on their ability to stay financially fluid.

Now, in what is truly a case of never wasting a crisis, the Chinese government is now using the damage done by the coronavirus to further insert themselves in the lives of their people.

A Chinese local government’s proposal for a post-coronavirus health app that ranks citizens based on their smoking, drinking, exercise and sleep habits has sparked fury online over privacy concerns

China has already developed apps that indicate an individual’s likelihood of contracting coronavirus based on their travel history and whether they had come into contact with an infected case.

Hangzhou, a high-tech hub and home to e-commerce giant Alibaba, was among the first Chinese cities to adopt such an app, which gives people a green, yellow or red code that determines if they can buy travel tickets or enter public places.

What’s coming next will make 1984 look downright pedestrian.

The software monitors users in real-time and ranks them on a 100-point “health gradient” scale, according to a post on the commission’s website.

According to shots of the app shared in the post, it ranks citizens out of the entire population of Hangzhou based on their health score, which changes according to the user’s daily actions.

For example, drinking a glass of white wine could set your score back by 1.5 points, while sleeping for seven hours could improve it by one point.

One can only imagine what other data this FitBit-on-steroids could provide…
