DISGUSTING: Illhan Omar GIGGLES While Discussing Iran Attack

Illhan Omar couldn't contain her laughter as Democrats were discussing American military causalities abroad.

Posted by Ben Shapiro on Thursday, January 9, 2020

TDW:

Far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) laughed and giggled during a press conference on Wednesday while her colleague, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX), discussed U.S. casualties from the Iraq war.

“I’m very glad to say that I was part of the 132 and also the vote for Barbara Lee’s amendment, but I think that the point of that is that that is the same war that we’re dealing with today,” Lee said. “We never solved any problems with AUMF, we left four thousand plus, maybe even forty four hundred dead, and over sixty thousand who came back injured in some form and the war never ended.”

As Lee spoke, Omar could be seen standing behind her laughing while talking to her Democrat colleagues.

“I recall the language in AUMF, it deals with hostilities in Iraq,” Lee continued. “It doesn’t deal with an incident or a dislike or someone in a car coming in from the airport. That is the danger of not acting and I do think with our leadership, meaning the leadership CPC, that will come together around specific answers.” More

Angry Dad Confronts Warren On Student Loan Forgiveness: ‘Can I Have My Money Back?’

A dad who paid for his daughter’s education confronted Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren over student loan forgiveness: ‘Can I have my money back?’

“So you’re gonna pay for people who didn’t save any money, but those of us who did the right thing get screwed?”

Daily Caller:

The father of a college student was seen confronting Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren about her plan to cancel student loan debt in a video that went viral earlier this week.

The dad chastised Warren over her plan, and got especially heated after the senator and 2020 presidential candidate told him he could not get the money back that he saved to pay for his daughter’s school. (RELATED: Colleges And Universities Are Creating A Lost Generation Of Americans)

“My daughter is in school. I saved all my money. Am I gonna get my money back?” the dad asked.

“Of course not,” Warren replied. More

Florida Voters Dismiss Impeachment While Mocking Schiff & Nadler

Published

Florida voters dismissed impeachment while mocking Adam Schiff as Jerry Nadler “as Abbott and Costello.”

Voters in Florida are continuing to show their support for the president amid the ongoing Senate impeachment trial, with one voter warning that history will remember “this House” and “this speaker” for “the travesty they’ve done to this country.”

Trump supporters reacted to the first day of the Senate impeachment trial and continued to show their steadfast support for the president.

“How will history view this time in America,” a Fox News reporter asked a voter in Jupiter, Florida, who said history will remember the president and his family for their “sacrifices” and “what he has done for this country.”

“They’re also going to remember this House, this speaker, for what the travesty they’ve done to this country, the damage that they’ve done to this country, and the harm across the world. They will be remembered,” she said to applause.

“After what was said yesterday, we all heard some of the things that were said in the proceedings, you get the screenshot of Schiff and Nadler together, and you just can’t help but look at the two of them standing next to one another and think ‘that’s the Democrats’ answer to Abbott and Costello,’” another joked.

Fox News also spoke to a Trump supporter who immigrated from Mexico, who said that the Democrats’ impeachment effort is embarrassing the U.S.

“It’s an embarrassment to try to impeach the best president ever. I mean his accomplishments are just huge,” she said, citing the low unemployment rate and his efforts to halt illegal immigrants from entering the country.

“I hope all the Republican senators stand strong.”

Fact Checking Adam Schiff’s Lies on First Day of Senate Impeachment Trial

During his first day at the Senate’s impeachment proceedings, House Democrat Adam Schiff told one lie after another.

Published

on

During his first day at the Senate’s impeachment proceedings, House Democrat Adam Schiff told one lie after another. Breitbart’s Joel Pollak tore Schiff’s lies apart with a great fact check on Wednesday.

For instance, Schiff claimed that President Trump withheld a White House meeting and military aide from Ukraine until they announced an investigation into Joe Biden’s son and his corrupt deals with a Ukrainian energy company.

But Pollak labeled that “False.”

“There is no direct evidence of that in the entire House record,” Pollak noted.

Every part of that claim is untrue, and directly contradicted by the evidence that emerged in the House’s own inquiry.

Schiff is clearly relying on the testimony of U.S. Ambassador to the E.U. Gordon Sondland, who made the surprise announcement in his prepared statement for the public impeachment inquiry in the House Intelligence Committee that there had been a “quid pro quo” — a White House meeting in exchange for an announcement of investigations.

Under questioning, however, Sondland admitted that he had no direct knowledge of a “quid pro quo.” In fact, he testified that when he asked President Trump what he wanted from Ukraine, he said “nothing” and “no quid pro quo.”

The transcript of Trump’s call with Ukrainian President Zelensky also shows that Trump had already invited the leader to a White House meeting.

Further, there was never any discussion of withholding the aid in question.

“The U.S. aid that was temporarily withheld was ‘security assistance’ — not the all-important Javelin anti-tank missiles, which Trump provided earlier (and President Barack Obama had not),” Pollak noted. “The hold had to do with future funding and had no effect on the flow of funds to Ukraine during the summer of 2019, when the temporary hold was in place.”

Pollak also made a salient point: “It is also odd how gung-ho Schiff and his colleagues have suddenly become about helping Ukraine resist Russia when they were silent when President Obama appeased Russia for years and denied aid to a Ukraine under attack.”

Virginia Democrats Now Want to Make Criticism of Government a Crime

Now, Vir. Democrats want to make criticism of government illegal. Is there any anti-American law that Virginia Democrats don’t want to pass?

Published

on

Now, Democrats in Virginia want to make criticism of government illegal. Is there any anti-American law that Virginia Democrats don’t want to pass these days?

After summarily eliminating every single Virginia Republican gun bill in one day with a wave of their hands, the majority Democrats have now introduced House Bill 1627, a bill that expressly outlaws criticism of government.

This affront to free speech was filed by Delegate Jeffrey M. Bourne.

As Big League Politics reported:

The legislation “provides that certain crimes relating to threats and harassment may be prosecuted in the City of Richmond if the victim is the Governor, Governor-elect, Lieutenant Governor, Lieutenant Governor-elect, Attorney General, or Attorney General-elect, a member or employee of the General Assembly, a justice of the Supreme Court of Virginia, or a judge of the Court of Appeals of Virginia.”

This bill does no less than criminalize free speech — especially political free speech. And political free speech is precisely the sort of free speech that the founders most wanted to protect.

Including, and especially the very founders that were from Virginia!

“If any person, with the intent to coerce, intimidate, or harass any person, shall use a computer or computer network to communicate obscene, vulgar, profane, lewd, lascivious, or indecent language, or make any suggestion or proposal of an obscene nature, or threaten any illegal or immoral act, he is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor,” this outrageous legislation adds.

With the bill specifying government officers, it clearly makes criticizing those officials against the law.

There couldn’t be a more un-American bill?

“Wow on cue, now they are after the 1A! Dems are trying to set up special rules exclusive to the Elite ruling class, to protect themselves from criticism!” Republican Delegate Nick Freitas said in a Facebook post.

No doubt.

Is Schiff Laying Groundwork For Rejecting Election Results?

Published

Democratic House Manager Adam Schiff argued that if President Trump is allowed to run for president this year, “we cannot be assured that the vote will be fairly won.”

When Trump is re-elected, we will have to deal with all this madness again increased by 10 fold. The Dems are losing their power over the government, they are backed into a corner. And since they can not win fairly, they will do everything they must in order to steal it. We can only protect our nation by voting out every single Democra up for election.

Traitor Mitt Romney Tries to Backtrack from Supporting Democrat Impeachment Gambit

After his repeated anti-Trump statements, Utah “Republican” Senator Mitt Romney tried to back away from his outright support for impeachment on Tuesday.

Published

on

After his repeated anti-Trump statements, Utah “Republican” Senator Mitt Romney tried to back away from his outright support for impeachment on Tuesday.

Democrats were likely expecting Romney to come out swinging against Trump as the U.S. Senate begins its part of the impeachment drama this week. Instead, Romney took a few steps backward from his previous anti-Trump support for impeachment.

Romney’s reaction to Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s outline for the Senate’s proceedings struck a slightly different tone than his previous comments.

As Daily Wire reported:

While Democrats are taking to various media platforms to express outrage over the Republicans’ plans for handling the trial, accusing McConnell of attempting to “cover up” the president’s alleged misconduct by fast-tracking the proceedings, Romney pointed out in a statement issued ahead of the debate Tuesday that the rules set forth by his colleagues “align closely” with those established for the impeachment trial of then-President Bill Clinton, rules which were unanimously approved by the Senate.

Meanwhile, Romney’s Democrat pals railed over McConnell’s plans. Sen. Schumer, for instance, absurdly exclaimed: “We are staring down an erosion of the sacred democratic principles for which our founders fought a bloody war of independence.”

Romney, though, did not exactly support the Democrat line. Though agreeing with the left that the allegations against Trump are “extremely serious,” Romney added that he thinks the Senate should “put political biases aside” and hear the case in “good faith.”

“The allegations outlined in the articles of impeachment passed by the House are extremely serious — did the President abuse his office for personal political gain, and did he obstruct Congress’ investigation by blocking subpoenas?” Romney said in the statement. “These allegations demand that the Senate put political biases aside, and make good faith efforts to listen to arguments from both sides and thoroughly review facts and evidence. I have made clear to my colleagues and the public that the Senate should have the opportunity to decide on witnesses following the opening arguments, as occurred in the Clinton trial. The organizing resolution released tonight includes this step, and overall, it aligns closely with the rules package approved 100-0 during the Clinton trial. If attempts are made to vote on witnesses prior to opening arguments, I would oppose those efforts.”

Romney later pushed out a press release slamming Democrats:

As we approach the impeachment trial of the President, I feel a deep sense of responsibility to the Constitution, to the people of Utah and to the nation. I want to share my thoughts directly with Utahns — the people I was elected to serve in the Senate — about how I plan to approach this process.

Last week, I and all senators swore an oath to ‘do impartial justice according to the Constitution and laws: so help me God’ in determining whether the president has committed impeachable offenses that merit his removal from office. Deciding whether or not a sitting president should be removed from office is perhaps the most solemn matter that can ever come before the United States Senate. I enter this task with an open mind and a recognition of my solemn responsibility to fulfill my oath.

The allegations outlined in the articles of impeachment passed by the House are extremely serious — did the President abuse his office for personal political gain, and did he obstruct Congress’ investigation by blocking subpoenas? These allegations demand that the Senate put political biases aside, and make good faith efforts to listen to arguments from both sides and thoroughly review facts and evidence. If attempts are made to vote on witnesses prior to opening arguments, I would oppose those efforts.

I will conclude by noting that this is not a situation anyone would wish upon our country. It is difficult, divisive, and further inflames partisan entrenchment. There is inevitable political pressure from all sides. I have spent — and will continue to spend — many hours in careful deliberation about what this process and its potential outcomes could mean for our country. The best we in the Senate can do is strive to meet the obligations outlined by our founding fathers — to honor our constitutional duty and fulfill our oath to do impartial justice. That is the commitment I make solemnly and in good faith to the people of Utah and our nation.

So, why has Romney suddenly started pulling back a bit from his extreme hate for Trump?

His poll numbers are tanking, of course.

According to KSL.com:

There was an 8% drop in his approval rating among Republicans in the most recent Mitt Romney polls. It went from 65% in the third quarter to 57% in the last quarter.

But support among Democrats went up from 42 to 46% over the same time for the Utah Republican.

And so… suddenly Romney is looking a bit more like a Republican to regain support.
