CNN’s Ignorance of Epstein-ABC Scandal Raises Eyebrows with Media Observers

CNN’s unwillingness to report on this incredibly bizarre chain of events suggest that they, too, may be compromised.

Published

Jeffrey Epstein is a man whose lore will likely live on in American pop culture for decades, if not longer.

The wealthy and well-connected financier was already a convicted pedophile at the time of his alleged suicide, which took place while Epstein was being held in one of the nation’s most secure detention facilities just days after being taken off of suicide watch at the behest of his lawyers.  At that time, Epstein was being held on charges of child sex trafficking, cementing his reputation as one of the nation’s most heinous socialites.

Of course, this wasn’t the first time that Epstein had been in trouble.  Back in 2008, after years of legal lethargy, Jeffrey Epstein was given a sweetheart deal in Florida, skating on charges of “solicitation” while everyone understood explicitly that he was grooming underage women for sexual slavery.

This only added to the mythos surrounding him, with a vast conspiracy emerging online that connected Epstein to all manner of high-ranking public figures; from the founder of Victoria’s Secret all the way to former President Bill Clinton.

Back in 2015, long before his recent suicide, Epstein was about to be exposed by an intrepid report at ABC News when the UK’s Royal Family forced the network to abandon the story, based on Epstein’s connections to Prince Andrew.

When undercover news specialists at Project Veritas exposed this coverup, the hunt was on for the employee, (or, as it turns out, the former employee), responsible for blowing the whistle on the story.

A massive folly ensued as CBS then fired an employee who they believe was responsible, having had worked at ABC prior.  The move was erroneous, however, as the leaker themselves took to the internet to refute what had happened.

This is by far one of the juiciest stories in the media today, yet CNN doesn’t seem willing to touch it with a ten foot pole.

Brian.

Stelter.

Ignored.

All.

Of.

It.

Stelter’s show is called Reliable Sources, and promises viewers that its purpose is to  “examine the media world, telling the story behind the story.”

But that is not the case at all, and we all knew that before this weekend, which is why the far-left Stelter’s ratings (like the rest of far-left CNN) are in freefall.

Even for Stelter, though, ignoring this story is just beyond the beyond… Shameless cover ups are nothing new with Zucker’s Puppet, but this one is going to be remembered, will be defining.

What did Stelter talk about this Sunday? Well, he brought on tired old PBS lefty Bill Moyers to scream about how Drumpf is killing democracy and must be impeached. He brought on lefty Anthony Scaramucci to talk about how Drumpf is killing democracy and must be impeached. He brought on a panel of lefties, including al-Baghdadi fanboy Max Boot,  to talk about how Sean Hannity and Drumpf are killing democracy and must be impeached.

Knowing what we know now about ABC’s reticence to report the truth on account of Royal pressure, one can only assume that CNN is similarly compromised.

CNN’s anchor Dana Bash applauded President Trump on his handling of the China-originated novel coronavirus outbreak, praising Trump as the “kind of leader that people need” in this time of crisis.

“If you look at the big picture this was remarkable from the President of the United States. This is nonpartisan. An important thing to note and to applaud from an American standpoint, from a human standpoint. He is being the kind of leader people need.”

MSM: Calling Virus ‘Wuhan Virus’ Or ‘Chinese Coronavirus’ Is Racist… But Here’s The MSM Calling It That

The MSM are the biggest hypocrites in the world.

Published

on

A new video from the Media Research Center perfectly illustrates an obvious double-standard used by the MSM deeming it racist to point out the origin of the Wuhan virus if done so by Republicans.

Here are 35 times the MSM called it the ‘Wuhan Coronavirus’ or ‘Chinese Coronavirus:’

Here’s a fun fact for them… The Ebola Virus was named after the Ebola river in the Congo, near where it was first discovered. According to the left, the name of it must be changed. Also, the West Nile virus must be changed. It’s not possible for me to loathe these people anymore. The Democrats are absolutely insane.

MSNBC Star Retires Mid-Show, Stunning Replacement Anchor

The vaunted vitriolic vehicle stunned his replacement with the announcement…LIVE!

Published

on

The mainstream media is a rough place these days, as the blend of entertainment to information is trending heavily toward the former as opposed to the all-important latter.

Turn on the television today and all you’ll see is turbo hyperbole run amok, with anchors blathering on in hypotheticals and party-approved talking points, literally shouting at one another when the discussion slides in their opponents’ favor.

Furthermore, these vaunted vitriol vehicles are under a microscope at all times, with their words being wrung into whatever shape best suits the viewer’s own opinion, no matter how uninformed or uncouth they might be.

Amid this chaos, one of MSNBC’s mainstays has taken a bow, and done so in a shocking, mid-show manner.

MSNBC star Chris Matthews shocked his colleagues and viewers Monday night by announcing that he was stepping down as host of the cable news channel’s primetime staple, “Hardball,” effective immediately.

“Let me start with my headline tonight: I’m retiring. This is the last ‘Hardball’ on MSNBC,” Matthews announced at the top of his show. “And obviously, this isn’t for the lack of interest in politics. As you can tell, I loved every minute of my 20 years as host of ‘Hardball.’ Every morning I read the papers and I’m gung-ho to get to work. Not many people have had this privilege. I loved working with my producers and our discussions we’d have on how we report the news. And I love having this connection with you, the people who watch.”

He continued, “After conversations with NBC, I decided tonight will be my last ‘Hardball.’ So let me tell you why. The younger generations out there are ready to take the reins. We see them in politics, in the media, and fighting for their causes.”

Political correspondent Steve Kornacki helmed the remainder of Hardball, appearing a bit shocked after an extended commercial break followed Matthew’s announcement.

CNN’s Boykin Smears Black Americans Who Support President Trump As “Uncle Toms”

Published

on

CNN’s Keith Boykin: “How the hell do you say you’re making a serious effort to reach black people when you haven’t even gone to a black community, he hasn’t even gone to the black community in Washington, D.C., in New York, in Harlem or in Brooklyn where he lived. He has not made any serious effort to reach black people. The idea that anybody would sit in a room with Donald Trump and call him the first black president after we had Barack Obama as a president shows just what kind of Uncle Toms were sitting in that room.”

Here’s the video of Boykin’s slur:

Now just imagine if a conservative commentator had said this. Would they still have a job?

President Trump Sues Major Newspaper for Libel in ‘Fake News’ Case

Given just how often Trump and this particular paper have sparred over the years, we’re surprised it took this long to get this far.

Published

on

The mainstream media has been having one heck of a time keeping up with the first term of Donald Trump’s presidency, and they’ve certainly been a little lacking in the “fact-checking” department as of late.

Some seem to believe that the left-leaning pockets of the media machine are simply allowing these errors to go unnoticed, just long enough to put such ideas out into the world, to whatever end that accomplishes.  Others believe that this distortion of facts comes from the unsettling and chaotic environment of our political scene in the 21st century.

In either case, President Trump’s legal team isn’t going to let it slide.

President Donald Trump’s campaign sued The New York Times for libel over a March 2019 opinion article, saying the newspaper published its allegedly false claims with the “intentional purpose” of damaging Trump’s chances for reelection this year.

The campaign, which is seeking millions of dollars in damages, said The Times falsely reported “as fact a conspiracy with Russia” in the op-ed written by Max Frankel, which was published on March 27, 2019 under the headline “The Real Trump-Russia Quid Pro Quo.”

Frankel is a former executive editor of the newspaper.

The Times had no immediate comment on the lawsuit, which was filed in New York State Supreme Court in Manhattan.

Reached at his home, Frankel declined to comment.

“No, I’m going to leave that to The Times,” he said.

President Trump and the New York Times have quite a history, having sparred repeatedly over the years.

The paper was even bestowed a Trumpian nickname by the Commander in Chief:  The “Failing” New York Times.

Sen. Cruz Goes Beast Mode When Reporter Goes After His Kids

Published

on

Sen. Cruz’s comments came after day two of the Trump defense in the Senate impeachment trial, where Hunter and Joe Biden were obliterated all day long.

This is the first time in the entire proceeding we have heard, just at the beginning, of the serious evidence of corruption involving Burisma, the Ukrainian natural gas company that paid Hunter Biden, Joe Biden’s son, a million dollars a year, while Hunter (Joe) Biden threatened Ukraine to withhold a billion dollars in aid unless and until they fired the prosecutor investigating his son.

We just saw a video which I would encourage every news outlet here to actually show, the video of Joe Biden bragging about how he told the president of Ukraine he was gonna cut off a billion dollars; he was gonna block a billion dollars in foreign aid to Ukraine unless they fired the prosecutor, and in Joe Biden’s own words, “son-of-a-b****, they fired the guy!”

I get that the press loves to obsess over the latest “bombshell.” Listen, I don’t know what John Bolton’s book says or doesn’t say; I’ve seen The New York Times coverage, but at the end of the day, it doesn’t impact the legal issue before this Senate. The legal issue before this Senate is whether a president has the authority to investigate corruption.

So the House managers built their entire case on the proposition that investigating Burisma corruption, investigating the Bidens for corruption, was baseless and a sham. That proposition was absurd; we’ve just seen — they said there wasn’t a shred of evidence concerning corruption. We’ve just seen two hours of evidence, and at a minimum, it was not only reasonable and justified, but the president, I think, had an obligation to investigate corruption that potentially extended to the very highest levels of government.

Secretary of State Pompeo Accuses NPR of Journalistic Malpractice

The feud between Pompeo and National Public Radio goes back several weeks.

Published

on

President Trump has been unrepentant in his assertion that a great deal of the mainstream media is dabbling in what he calls “fake news”, but the latest accusations from Secretary of State Mike Pompeo go beyond even that inflammatory assertion.

Pompeo recently granted an interview to NPR’s Mary Louise Kelly under the assumption that the two would be discussing the geopolitical quagmire that Iran’s recent aggression has conjured.  Instead, the Secretary of State was ambushed by Kelly, who proceeded to inundate Pompeo with impeachment and Ukraine inquiries.

Now, Pompeo is lashing out.

“NPR reporter Mary Louise Kelly lied to me, twice,” Pompeo said in a statement. “First, last month, in setting up our interview and, then again yesterday, in agreeing to have our post-interview conversation off the record.”

“It is shameful that this reporter chose to violate the basic rules of journalism and decency,” he said.

He continued, echoing some of the President’s earlier sentiments.

“This is another example of how unhinged the media has become in its quest to hurt President Trump and this Administration,” he said. “It is no wonder that the American people distrust many in the media when they so consistently demonstrate their agenda and their absence of integrity.”

Kelly lambasted Pompeo after the story erupted, claiming that the State Department head had berated her for her malfeasance, possibly using profanity while doing so.
