Bay State Golfers Looking to Bag Birdies Get Busted for Breaking Social Distancing Orders

The out-of-bounds golfers received far more than a few penalty strokes.

In homes across the nation, there is a great debate raging:  How seriously should we take social distancing?  The answer from the CDC and others is to take it very seriously, especially as it becomes rather apparent that China was not telling us the whole truth about COVID-19.

To make matters worse, a patchwork of newly implemented and widely varying regulations have spread out across the nation, stirring a great pot of uncertainty as to what’s expected.

But then are some folks who know the rules but choose to circumvent them anyway.

Rhode Island cops enforcing the state’s coronavirus quarantine order have bagged three golfers from Massachusetts on misdemeanor charges.

Trending: Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot Sent Armed Police To Shut Down Black Baptist Church

Richmond police say the three duffers went to elaborate lengths to hide their identities as out-of-towners so they could get in a round of golf at the Meadow Brook Golf Course in town on Wednesday.

Gregory Corbett, 51, Tyler Pietrzyk, 22, and Nye Cameron, 22, were apprehended at a nearby McDonald’s restaurant, where police say the men changed cars to drive to the club in a vehicle with Rhode Island license plates, the Attleboro Sun Chronicle reported Friday.

The men were reported to police by employees of the McDonald’s were the not-so-stealthy switcheroo went down.

Those traveling into Rhode Island from out-of-state are required to self-quarantine for 14 days in order to help curb the spread of COVID-19.  The men were issued summonses upon arrival back at their car, still parked in the McDonald’s parking lot.

500 Doctors Banded Together To Tell Trump To End COVID-19 Shutdown, Warn It Will Cause More Deaths

500 Doctors Banded Together To Tell Trump To End COVID-19 Shutdown, Warn It Will Cause More Deaths

500 doctors have banded together to tell President Donald Trump to mandate an end the coronavirus shutdown, saying it is a “mass casualty incident” that will cause more death and destruction than the virus itself.

“We are alarmed at what appears to be the lack of consideration for the future health of our patients. The downstream health effects of deteriorating a level are being massively under-estimated and under-reported. This is an order of magnitude error,” says a letter that was written by Simone Gold, a California emergency medical specialist, and signed by hundreds of doctors.

“The millions of casualties of a continued shutdown will be hiding in plain sight, but they will be called alcoholism, homelessness, suicide, heart attack, stroke, or kidney failure,” the letter says. “In youths it will be called financial instability, unemployment, despair, drug addiction, unplanned pregnancies, poverty, and abuse.”

Daily Wire:

On March 22, President Trump took to Twitter and typed out a message in all-caps: “WE CANNOT LET THE CURE BE WORSE THAN THE PROBLEM ITSELF. AT THE END OF THE 15 DAY PERIOD, WE WILL MAKE A DECISION AS TO WHICH WAY WE WANT TO GO!”

That was more than a month ago. And while all 50 states have begun to take some steps toward reopening shuttered businesses and closed restaurants, the pace is achingly slow.

Now, 500 doctors have banded together to tell Trump to mandate an end the coronavirus shutdown, saying it is a “mass casualty incident” that will cause more death and destruction than the virus itself. More

This will not even scratch the determination of the blue state governors. They have a political goal, and the lives of mere citizens don’t figure into it. Protect the vulnerable, open the economy, and oust all the petty tyrannical, power-hungry, government officials that stand in the way.

I don’t support lockdowns, I do however support closing our borders and international travel bans. There is evidence that these two measures are far more effective than lockdowns.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot Sent Armed Police To Shut Down Black Baptist Church

Published

Pastor Lewis said Christian pastors are under assault in Chicago and they need help: “All we are seeking is the same consideration and trust that is being tendered toward the liquor stores, abortion clinics and Walmart,” he told the Todd Starnes Show.

Courtney Lewis, the pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Chicago, was in the middle of his sermon when he heard loud banging on front doors. It was the police and they were denied entry into the sanctuary according to Todd Starnes.

Mayor Lori Lightfoot had dispatched three squad cars and two unmarked cars filled with armed officers. A representative from the mayor’s office was also present.

Pastor Lewis said the intent was to shut down their Sunday services. It was “like the Soviet-style KGB,” he said.

“The only thing she hasn’t done yet is beat the doors down and arrest our members,” the pastor said.

Pastor Lewis tells the Todd Starnes Radio Show that the men of the church were instructed not to open the doors during the services — per protocol.

“Thankfully our doors were locked as a normal safety precaution we take each service to protect our members from the escalating gun violence in Chicago,” the pastor said.

A church usher, who is typically positioned outside the building during the services, saw the mayor’s goon force attempt to enter the building and began taking photographs.

Even more disturbing, an individual in an unmarked car with tinted windows was seen filming and photographing church members as they arrived to worship Jesus Christ.

“The mayor wants to educate everyone into compliance – which means intimidate,” the pastor said.

Rev. Lewis wrote a letter to U.S. Attorney John Lausch pleading for help and protection against the city’s Democrat mayor and her jackbooted thugs. More

California Docs Say More Have Died from Lockdown Suicides than the Coronavirus Itself

Doctors in California have now recorded more deaths by suicide during the draconian coronavirus lockdowns than they have from the virus itself.

Published

on

Doctors in California have now recorded more deaths by suicide during the draconian coronavirus lockdowns than they have from the virus itself.

“The numbers are unprecedented,” Dr. Michael deBoisblanc of John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, California, told ABC 7 News on Saturday. He also said he has seen a “year’s worth of suicides” in just the last four weeks alone.

Dr. deBoisblanc went on to urge the state to end the lockdowns because they have become more destructive that the virus could ever be.

“Personally, I think it’s time,” the doctor added. “I think, originally, this was put in place to flatten the curve and to make sure hospitals have the resources to take care of COVID patients. We have the current resources to do that, and our other community health is suffering.”

According to the Washington Examiner, suicides are rising elsewhere, too.

Suicide has been an increasingly significant problem across the country as the coronavirus outbreak caused stay-at-home orders that led to unemployment and stress.

By late March, more people had died in just one Tennessee county from suicide than had died in the entire state directly from the virus.

A study published in early May suggested that the coronavirus could lead to at least 75,000 deaths directly brought on by anxiety from the virus, job losses, and addiction to alcohol and drugs.

Another study by Just Facts found that the lockdowns will destroy 7 times as many years of human life than they can save.

Many states are starting to come out of the lockdowns in fits and starts. But large states governed by leftists (such as New York, California, and Illinois) are lagging far behind others in re-opening.

As COVID Deaths Creep Toward 100K, Trump Orders Flags to Half Mast

Memorial Day’s somber tune will be a sung a little louder this year.

Published

on

Memorial Day has long been a somber holiday, hijacked by the outdoor grilling and swimming pool industries, but this year some of the levity could find its way back to the long weekend.

The holiday is meant as a reminder that we are free only thanks to the sacrifice that men and women across this nation have endured in order to preserve our freedoms.  They gave it all to protect our liberty, from Boston to Berlin to Baghdad.

Now, in a touching tribute to the nearly 100,000 that we’ve lost battling the invisible enemy known as COVID-19, President Trump is ordering the nation’s flags to half mast.

U.S. government buildings, military posts and embassies will fly the flag at half-staff through Memorial Day weekend in memory of the nearly 100,000 people who have died of COVID-19, President Trump announced Thursday night. The decision comes after Democratic leaders in Congress sent a letter to the president requesting the gesture.

“I will be lowering the flags on all Federal Buildings and National Monuments to half-staff over the next three days in memory of the Americans we have lost to the CoronaVirus,” Trump said via Twitter.

Flags will be lowered from Friday through Sunday’s sunset. Trump added that flags will again be flown at half-staff on Monday to honor the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military.

The gesture is a very welcome bit of bipartisanship in this increasingly divided nation.

The presidential proclamation came after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer sent Trump a letter asking him to order that flags be flown at half-staff on all public buildings on what they called “a sad day of reckoning” — when the U.S. marks 100,000 deaths.

“It would serve as a national expression of grief so needed by everyone in our country,” they wrote.

There are currently more than 95,000 known deaths from COVID-19 in the United States, all recorded over the course of the last several weeks.

Tucker Carlson Slams Lockdowns: ‘No Evidence They Saved America’

Fox News host Tucker Carlson pointed out that there is no evidence that the lockdowns have done anything to “save the country.”

Published

on

With the country in total economic ruin, Fox News host Tucker Carlson pointed out that there is no evidence that the lockdowns have done anything to “save the country.”

Carlson questioned the purported science behind the lockdowns, and on his Thursday broadcast said that the data just doesn’t prove the case for them.

“The one thing you never saw from these people, these journalists, was a straightforward discussion about whether or not lockdowns actually work,” Carlson said on his show.

“You’d think that would be the first thing they would talk about, but they didn’t want to. Hundreds of millions of people ordered to stay home, only go outside for essential reasons. Does forcing people to live like that really contain a virus? There are a lot of reasons actually to believe that it does not contain a virus,” he said.

Tucker went on:

For example, forcing people into close quarters all day obviously increases the odds of infecting family members. The biggest studies on that have shown it. Closing every business except grocery stores forces a lot of people into a small space. Is that a good idea? There are a lot of potential problems. We don’t know all of the answers. Someday we’ll have a better understanding of the science behind quarantines. We should have had it before we imposed them.

But for now, here’s what you need to know and what they’re not going to tell you. There is, as of tonight, precisely no evidence that the lockdowns in America saved lives anywhere. In fact, it’s possible that mass quarantines killed people. Researchers at JPMorgan compared the coronavirus infection rates of all 50 U.S. states and many European countries before and after the mass quarantines.

Overall, ending the lockdowns was associated with a slower spread of the virus. Did you hear that? Ending the lockdowns slowed the spread of the virus or was associated with a slower spread. Amazing. For some reason, that study has not received a lot of attention. Maybe you shouldn’t be surprised by that. More than any other governor, maybe in the country, Kristi Noem from South Dakota refused to lock her state down. She refused to use the coronavirus pandemic to enhance her personal powers.

For that, she was vilified in the national press. Some outlets treated her like a mass murderer. On April 13, The Washington Post wrote this, quote, “South Dakota’s Governor resisted ordering people to stay home. Now it has one of the nation’s largest coronavirus hotspots.” Meanwhile, the obedient states, states that imprisoned their entire population, got round applause from the entire American media. The very next day. “The New York Times” lauded California, by contrast, this way, quote, “California set the tone on coronavirus shutdowns. What’s its next move?”

And the message of all of this, of course, is unmistakable. You saw it at the time, California was saving its people. Rightwing, old South Dakota was plunging its state into calamity. So, that was more than five weeks ago. How did things turn out in the end? Have you seen a follow-up story on it? Probably not. Here the facts. As of today, about five per hundred thousand people in South Dakota have died of the coronavirus. In California, the death toll is 8.4 per hundred thousand. That’s 64 percent higher.

That doesn’t prove lockdowns kill people. It does suggest it doesn’t work very well. And yet even now, millions of Americans are living, suffocating under continued lockdown. The state’s economy has been crushed, particularly for middle-class people. They’re barred from going to work. They can’t go on the dry sand in Los Angeles per their lunatic mayor. Now, you can laugh about this because it’s stupid. But for millions of healthy people at virtually no risk from dying of this virus, the lockdowns have been a life-changing disaster.

Dr. Fauci Suddenly ‘Totally in Favor’ of Re-Opening America

After becoming a target of criticism over his coronavirus claims, Suddenly Dr. Anthony Fauci is advocating for the re-opening of America.

Published

on

After becoming a target of criticism that he is absurdly restrictive with his coronavirus pronouncements, suddenly Dr. Anthony Fauci is advocating for the re-opening of America.

In fact, Fauci just said that if the U.S. doesn’t restart its economy soon, it may cause “irreparable damage.”

That is a far cry from the doctor who was only recently saying the whole world would be drenched in death if we re-start our economies.

On Friday, Trump’s now famous White House health adviser said that he supports reopening the country, and the exclaimed that the country “can’t stay locked down.”

In comments to CNBC, Fauci said, “I don’t want people to think that any of us feel that staying locked down for a prolonged period of time is the way to go.”

Fauci stuck with his claim that shuttering the country was the right move early in the pandemic.

On the other hand, he now wants people to know he is not a proponent of lockdown-forever like so many Democrats seem to be.

“I don’t want people to think that any of us feel that staying locked down for a prolonged period of time is the way to go,” he said.

Still, he cautioned against opening without a plan.

He added that proper precautions need to be put in place because the time has come to “seriously look at reopening the economy.”

“N]ow is the time, depending upon where you are and what your situation is, to begin to seriously look at reopening the economy, reopening the country to try to get back to some degree or normal, he said.

“I’m totally in favor of that if done in the proper way and appropriate setting,” Fauci insisted.

But Fauci has taken criticism that he is unrealistic about his lockdown policies and that he continues to push for lockdown despite the utter economic destruction it is causing.

New York Gov. Cuomo Dodges Blame For High Death Toll In His State

Smug Andrew Cuomo Mocks Workers Who Want To Go Back To Work To Feed Their Families

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo dodged blame for the high death toll in his state. “Who knew the virus was already here January, February, March? Now, who should have known, it’s above my pay grade as governor of one state.”

Well, that’s interesting. If it’s not New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s responsibility, then he also doesn’t get the credit for doing anything good either, right?

TDW:

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has been endlessly praised by the mainstream media, but by the numbers, his state has done far worse than any other in America in handling the outbreak.

New York state has the most coronavirus cases in the United States. As of Friday, there have been 28,743 COVID-19 deaths in the state, the fourth most populous in the U.S., with more than 19 million people. But California, the most populous state at nearly 40 million residents, has had just 3,604 deaths. Texas, second-most populous at about 29 million, has had only 1,461 deaths. And Florida, No. 3 on the list at 21 million and home to many elderly residents, comes in between the two, at 2,190 COVID-19 deaths.

In fact, New York has more deaths than the next five hardest-hit states combined, according to Johns Hopkins Center for System Science and Engineering.

But Cuomo said Thursday that none of that is his responsibility. The governor said that if “the country” — not his administration, the country — knew earlier, things could have been much easier.

“If this country knew more and knew it earlier, I think we could’ve saved many, many more lives,” he said. “I mean, if you think about it in retrospect, the virus is in China, November, December, everybody knows that. More

Nearly half of all coronavirus deaths come from three very democratic states in the north… New Jersey, New York, and Massachusetts. “Cuomo enacted a state directive that required nursing homes to take in coronavirus-positive patients, which brought the virus sweeping through the most vulnerable population.” Gov. Andrew Cuomo owns this.
