After Calling Trump a Racist, Now Nancy Pelosi Suddenly Supports Halting Flights from China

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called Donald Trump a “racist” for halting travel from China as the coronavirus started she has done a 180.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called Donald Trump a “racist” for halting travel from China as the coronavirus started, but all of a sudden, she has done a 180 and now supports the halt.

Even more hypocritically, she is also now accusing Trump of not doing enough to stop travel from China!

Does she think no one remembers only a month ago?

Pelosi’s whiplash-inducing turn around came on Sunday when sold-out CNN personality Jake Tapper brought up Trump’s temporary travel ban.

Trending: Lance Armstrong’s Bike Shop Demands Cops Protect Them from Threats After Refusing to Sell Cops Bikes

“One point of clarification I was wondering. Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign told me earlier this month that he supported President Trump’s partial travel restrictions on January 31st, blocking foreign nationals from China coming to the United States,” Tapper said. “Do you agree that it was the right move by President Trump at the time?”

Then Pelosi came back with this nonsense: “Actually, tens of thousands of people were still allowed in from China. So it wasn’t as it’s described, as this great moment. There were Americans come back, green card holders coming back, but there were tens of thousands.”

“So, if you’re going to shut the door because you have an evaluation of an epidemic, then shut the door,” the hypocrite said,

But as Townhall’s Beth Baumann noted, this is an amazing twist.

What Pelosi is saying makes absolutely no sense. Democrats continually said Trump was a “racist” and a “xenophobe” for a halting flights from China. They somehow came to the conclusion that the Trump administration was blaming Asian Americans for the coronavirus starting in Wuhan.

In fact, just last week, Pelosi came under fire for encouraging people to visit Chinatown in San Francisco as a way of “end[ing] the discrimination, the stigma that was going out against the Asian American community.”

But now Pelosi is slapping Trump for not shutting travel fast enough or strictly enough?

Come on.

Presumptive Democrat nominee also slammed Trump as a racist.

Wisconsin State Agency Demands Employees Wear Masks Even When Doing Video Meetings… from Home!

A Wisconsin state agency has dictated that employees wear medical masks even when they are doing video conference meetings in their own homes.

How ridiculous have mask Nazis become? A Wisconsin state agency has dictated that employees wear medical masks even when they are doing video conference meetings in their own homes.

According to reports, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources told employees that they have to wear masks during meetings they are attending via video link in their own home.

Wisconsin Democrat Governor Tony Evers had issued a state-wide mask order. But he did not exactly order people to wear masks inside their own homes.

However, the DNR issued an absurd order of its own.

The head of the DNR sent an email to employees that they MUST wear masks even during Zoom calls.

Per the Kansas City Star:

In an email to employees sent out on July 31, the head of Wisconsin’s Department of Natural Resources not only reminded employees of Gov. Tony Evers’ mask order going into effect on Aug. 1, he also said that every DNR employee must wear a mask … even while on a teleconference.

“Also, wear your mask, even if you are home, to participate in a virtual meeting that involves being seen — such as on Zoom or another video-conferencing platform — by non-DNR staff,” Preston Cole said, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “Set the safety example which shows you as a DNR public service employee care about the safety and health of others.”

DNR spokeswoman Megan Sheridan spoke with McClatchy News and said that employees wearing masks while video conferencing with external partners sets a good example during the pandemic.

“By wearing a mask while video conferencing with the general public, we visually remind folks that masking is an important part of navigating the business of natural resources during this tumultuous time,” Sheridan said.

“We ask staff to wear masks when on externally facing calls is that, taken out of context, a screenshot of a staff person or high ranking department official, if not properly attributed, could be misinterpreted to suggest that state employees are not properly following the Governor’s directive,” DNR spokeswoman Megan Sheridan told McClatchy.

This is taking mask Nazism to new heights.

Idiocy: Nashville Councilwoman Wants Law to Charge Non-Mask-Wearers with ‘Attempted Murder’

A councilwoman in Nashville wants to pass a law to give her the power to charge people who won’t wear a medical mask with “attempted murder.”

Published

A fool councilwoman in Nashville, Tennessee, wants to pass a law to give her the power to charge people who won’t wear a medical mask with “attempted murder” for passing on COVI-19.

Nashville Metro Council member Sharon Hurt went on a rant during the August 5 remote meeting of the city’s Public Safety, Beer & Regulated Beverages and Health, Hospitals, & Social Services committees.

Hurt pushed the council to enact a regulation that would criminalize mask skeptics and, worse, make them out to be murderers.

Get a look at this fascist:

My question goes back to legislation. I don’t know if Mike Jameson could be the one to answer the question, but my concern is — you know I work for an organization, that if they pass a virus, then they are tried for murder or attempted murder, if they are not told … and this person who may very well pass this virus that’s out in the air because they’re not wearing a mask is basically doing the same thing to someone who contracts it and dies from it.

It seems to me that we have been more reactive, as opposed to proactive, and a little too late, too little. So, my thing is, maybe there should be legislation, stronger legislation, I don’t know if Mike Jameson is… can speak to it, but maybe there needs to be stronger legislation to say that if you do not wear a mask and you subject exposure of this virus to someone else then there will be some stronger penalty as it is in other viruses that are exposed.

Not only is this a dangerous and stupid idea, it isn’t even the legal purview of the city council.

Mike Jameson, director of legislative affairs and senior adviser to Nashville Mayor John Cooper (D), told this fool that the city council has no such power to create criminal statues to suit her fascist tendencies.

“[T]he council does not have the opportunity on its own to create criminal legislation, that is a state creature. We’re warranted by state law, to apply criminal application to violations, just for example, as the state law allows us to apply a Class E misdemeanor to violate a health director violation,” Jameson told the slow-witted Hurt. “But, in terms of creating a new code, or class of criminal offenses, that is a creature of state law.”

Hurt makes a fool of herself about halfway through this remote meeting video:

Virginia Rapist Released from Jail to Avoid Coronavirus, Murdered His Accuser

Virginia released a rapist to “help” him avoid the coronavirus in jail, once he got out, he murdered the woman who accused him.

Published

on

The state of Virginia released a rapist to “help” him avoid the coronavirus in jail, but once he got out, he murdered the woman who accused him of the crime.

Ibrahim E. Bouaichi was arrested after Alexandria resident Karla Dominguez accused him of raping her in October of last year.

But on April 9, leftist Circuit Court Judge Nolan Dawkins ordered the accused rapist released because the judge had concerns that Bouaichi “might” contract the coronavirus while in jail.

Bouaichi was subsequently released to home confinement after posting a $25,000 bond.

Only two months later, the rape victim was lying dead outside her apartment after being shot to death by the very man the left-wing, bleeding heart Virginia judge was so desperate to “save” from the coronavirus.

Police say that Bouaichi murdered Dominguez on July 29, outside her Alexandria home where the killer was hiding in wait.

Police later found the murderer in a car and gave chase. Bouaichi soon crashed his vehicle and accidentally shot himself during the chase.

Per the Washington Post:

n Alexandria, Bouaichi’s lawyers said in their motion for bond that “social distancing and proper disinfecting measures are impossible while incarcerated.… Simply put, the risk of contracting Covid-19 in a jail is exceedingly obvious.” The lawyers, Manuel Leiva and Frank Salvato, also noted the risk for themselves in the jail, saying that lawyers seeking a contact visit would “also expose themselves to contaminated air and surfaces.”

Leiva and Salvato also claimed that the Alexandria jail had “imposed severe restrictions on visitation since the Covid-19 outbreak,” that all contact visits (meaning no glass or separation between visitor and inmate) were stopped and that the lawyers could only have video conference sessions lasting 30 minutes maximum. A trial date was set for Bouaichi, and his lawyers said he was “being effectively deprived of legal counsel.”

Alexandria jail officials responded that they do allow contact visits for attorneys upon request, and have accommodated several requests. “We have also provided video conferences in excess of 30 minutes,” jail spokeswoman Amy Bertsch said. “However, we do not have any record of Mr. Leiva or his co-counsel requesting a face-to-face visit with Ibrahim Bouaichi after the protocols went into effect in late March.”

So, the leftist judge released him. And Bouaichi, of whom the judge cried about being “deprived of his legal counsel,” went on and deprived his victim of her life.

This judge should take Bouaichi’s place in jail.

White Liberal Prof Invented Fake Minority Professor Who ‘Died of COVID’ to Push Agenda

A liberal white professor at Vanderbilt University has been outed as having created a fake teacher who she said died of coronavirus.

Published

A liberal white professor from Vanderbilt University has been outed as having created a fake teacher who she said died of coronavirus so she could use the fake story to push her political agenda.

BethAnn McLaughlin, a former assistant professor of neurology at Vanderbilt, was outed this week after she announced that a “friend” of hers who was also a female professor died of COVID-19 this month.

“She was a fierce protector of people,” McLaughlin wrote on her Twitter account. “No one has ever had my back like that,” McLaughlin added in tribute to the death of her “friend.”

McLaughlin explained that “Sciencing_Bi,” the professor who wanted to remain anonymous, was an anthropologist at Arizona State University and member of the Hopi Tribe. “Sciencing_Bi” also made a “million first nations Indigenous contacts for MeTooSTEM,” McLaughlin insisted.

“Sciencing_Bi” even had her own Twitter account with thousands and thousands of followers.

Indeed, “Sciencing_Bi” had an elaborate history as revealed in her Tweets.

Per Inside Higher Ed:

McLaughlin, a neuroscientist who says she lost her tenure bid at Vanderbilt University due to her activism against “harassholes,” has lots of Twitter followers. So did Sciencing_Bi, who sometimes defended McLaughlin against critics who said she was a toxic, controlling leader within MeTooSTEM.

Sciencing_Bi revealed once that she’d been sexually assaulted by a prominent man in her field, after other complaints against him became public. And in April she announced that she’d been forced to teach in person at Arizona State during the pandemic and was suffering from a protracted coronavirus infection as a result. Many academics followed her dispatches from the sick bed, including this post, from May: “ASU kept teachers, staff and students on campus until April. That’s well after we knew this was a killer disease. Many got COVID. Including me.”

Sciencing_Bi’s health declined through last week, when McLaughlin announced her death.

“Please read her timeline,” McLaughlin wrote on Twitter. “Campus closed and she was in the hospital a week later. Be mad about COVID but be more mad that BIPOC community is most vulnerable and underrepresented on campus. We are killing them.” McLaughlin also wrote that she and Sciencing_Bi texted often and had planned to get matching Indigenous tattoos. She also suggested that the two may have had a romantic relationship, tweeting, “Looking at her side of the bed and crying. Just a lot of crying. I literally can do nothing.”

Well, that is all very sad.

Except that it turns out that “Sciencing_Bi” is a fake person that McLaughlin made up to use as a way to push her political agenda for her activist group, MeTooSTEM.

A bunch of Twitter users began getting suspicious of this “Sciencing_Bi” character and they began investigatng. It wasn’t long until they proved that “Sciencing_Bi” doesn’t even exist.

Twitter ultimately suspended both McLaughlin and @Sciencing_Bi’s accounts. The @Sciencing_Bi account had been tweeting since at least 2016.

Now the people that had joined her organization are furious with McLaughlin. One exclaimed that her fake twitter scheme is “a betrayal of the movement.”

Yeah. Ya think?

McConnell Smokes Pelosi Over Marijuana-COVID Claim

McConnell Smokes Pelosi Over Marijuana-COVID Claim

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell ridiculed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi during a Senate floor speech over comments that Nancy Pelosi made last week about a treatment for COVID-19 involving cannabis.

A provision of the Democratic coronavirus relief bill from last week was tied to marijuana and would have allowed legal marijuana businesses the ability to access banking services.

“I don’t agree with you that cannabis is not related to this,” Nancy Pelosi said. “This is a therapy that has proven successful.”

While speaking about how Democrats “are blocking” the Senate’s current proposals for the next round of loans, Mitch McConnell said, “The Democratic leaders want the entirety of their massive far-left wish list, all of it.”

“Speaker Pelosi is still agitating for strange, new special interests carve-outs for the marijuana industry and even claiming they were COVID-related,” McConnell continued. “She said that with respect to this virus, marijuana is, quote, ‘a therapy that is proven successful.’ You can’t make this up. I hope she shared her breakthrough with Dr. Fauci.”

Partial Transcript:

Another day has come and gone in this once in a century national battle for our country. Yesterday more of our neighbors had to say goodbye to loved ones whose lives were claimed by this virus. Yesterday more doctors and more nurses worked long shifts on the front lines fighting to heal strangers and limit a national death toll that now exceeds 150,000. Yesterday more workers brought home pink slips. More main street businesses saw the end of their P.P.P. lifelines fast approaching. Yesterday more laid off Americans filed new claims for unemployment insurance or laid awake wondering about next month’s rent. Yesterday more school officials wondered what to tell parents, students, and teachers about September.

So what happened here in the capitol yesterday, madam president? With the American people fighting all these battles and more, what did the speaker of the house and the Democratic leader do with yet another day of deliberations? Yet again it was the exact same refrain. It never seems to change. We’re feeling optimistic. We spoke very politely to the administration but we’re still nowhere close on substance. It’s now been more than a week since Senate Republicans released a serious proposal for another major rescue package. A trillion dollars for kids, jobs, and health care. But Democrats are blocking it all. It’s like they expect applause for merely keeping a civil tone with the president’s team, never mind they’re still obstructing any action for our country.

Senate Republicans want to revive a federal add-on to unemployment insurance which the Democratic leader would not let us extend last week. We want to send another round of direct checks straight into families’ pockets. We want to supply generous new incentives for rehiring American workers and workplace safety. We want to send historic money to schools for reopening and invest even more in testing and vaccine research. We want legal protections so schools, churches, charities, and businesses can reopen.

The Democrats say they want many of the same things. I certainly believe that many of my Democratic colleagues who serve as ranking members want many of the same things and could easily find common ground with our chairmen if the Democratic leader would let them talk. But instead, we’ve gotten a full week of the speaker of the house and the Democratic leader shutting out all of their own members and refusing to move an inch, an inch off of demands that everyone knows are outlandish. The Democratic leaders want the entirety of their massive far-left wish list, all of it.

Speaker Pelosi is still agitating for strange, new special interests carve-outs for the marijuana industry and even claiming they were COVID related. She said that with respect to this virus, marijuana is, quote, ‘a therapy that is proven successful.’ You can’t make this up. I hope she shared her breakthrough with Dr. Fauci.

CDC Director Reports that Youth Suicides and Drug Overdoses Far Outweighing COVID Deaths in Lockdown

CDC Director Robert Redfield said the COVID lockdowns have caused more suicides and drug overdoses among young people.

Published

on

CDC Director Robert Redfield now says that the evidence shows that the country has experienced more suicides and drug overdoses among young people during this lockdown foolishness than we have COVID deaths among that group.

Redfield revealed the facts during a Buck Institute webinar he participated in on July 14. As far as he is concerned, the lockdowns are killing many more kids than it is saving.

The director made his points in an effort to underscore that these lockdowns are very bad on America’s young people.

“But there has been another cost that we’ve seen, particularly in high schools,” Redfield said. “We’re seeing, sadly, far greater suicides now than we are deaths from COVID. We’re seeing far greater deaths from drug overdose that are above excess that we had as background than we are seeing the deaths from COVID.”

Redfield added that millions of children receive mental health help at schools and being cut off from attending schools is life-threatening to many of these kids.

“Obviously, the socialization is important,” he added. “And obviously, for some kids — I think actually a majority of kids — their learning in a face-to-face school is the most effective method of teaching.”

Redfield went on to say that parents should have no fear whatever of sending kids back to school.

“I think it is important to try to be factual as we go through this,” he explained. “When we look at, right now, the mortality of this particular COVID virus, in the first almost 218,000 people we looked at February to July, there was 52 individuals under the age of 18. And if I recollect, about 35 were actually school age. Some of them were younger than school age. We’re looking critically at those individuals. And, you know, clearly, there’s an increase in comorbidities related to significant medical conditions.”

The reporting on the virus also shows that only one child per million has died from COVID-19.

“We’re looking at about .1 per 100,000,” he said of the mortality rate among youth. “So another way to say that, it’s one in a million. Now, I’m not trying to belittle that, I’m just trying to make sure we look at it proportional. Because if you do the same thing for influenza deaths for school-age children over the last five years, they’re anywhere from five to 10 times greater.”

“The goal is to get all these kids back into education,” he concluded. “I’d like to see the goal being face-to-face education, five days a week, as when we get there, then we’ve got there for those children that don’t have an underlying significant comorbidity that would preclude it. And, hopefully, the states and the federal government will work together to see that the resources to get these schools fully operational come to bear.”

Ohio Outlaws, Then Rescinds Ban on Hydroxychloroquine to Treat COVID-19

On the same day that the State of Ohio banned the use of hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19, they reversed the ban.

Published

on

On the same day that the State of Ohio banned the use of hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19, the state reversed its ban and decided to leave medical decisions to doctors and patients. Like they should have in the first place.

The state’s Board of Pharmacy had ruled that starting Thursday it would be illegal for the state’s pharmacies to fill prescriptions for hydroxychloroquine. The board had fallen prey to the lie-filled campaign against the 50-year-old drug launched by science-denying liberals whose only goal is anti-Trump politics, not medicine.

But on Thursday morning, the state’s GOP Governor, Mike DeWine, spoke up after being besieged by patients and doctors who demanded to know why a pharmacy board thought it had the power to outlaw the drug they have been safely using for decades.

On Thursday, the Gov. said the decisions about how to treat COVID-19 should be made by patients and their doctors, not some officious placemen in some shadowy state regulatory board.

“The Board of Pharmacy and the State Medical Board of Ohio should revisit the issue, listen to the best medical science, and open the process up for comment and testimony from experts,” DeWine said in a statement.

Despite the obvious truth in DeWine’s statement, the Pharmacy Board only said it was tabling the ban to “study” it more.

“This will allow the Board to reexamine the issue with the assistance of the State Medical Board of Ohio, clinical experts, and other stakeholders to determine appropriate next steps,” the board said in its announcement that it was reversing its ban on the decades-old drug.

There is only ONE reason why hydroxychloroquine would so suddenly be banned. Hate of Donald Trump. Trump has been known to speak favorably about this drug, and to those whose mental capacities have been stunted by Trump Derangement Syndrome, that must make hydroxychloroquine the evil of all evils.

There is no science that says hydroxychloroquine is ineffective or dangerous. Indeed, there is decades of proof that it is part of a useful treatment regime.

Only those who have no actual knowledge and those who hate Trump are against this drug.
